ii. sent to earth

" Your majesty, the two guards are waiting for you in the room. " A palace maid informed.

" Let's get going, Baek Hyun-ssi, " The king and Baek Hyun headed over to the meeting room quickly and found two guards sitting inside.

" Baek Hyun? " One of the guards asked.

" Chan Yeol, what are you doing here? " Baek Hyun gasped and saw the other guard happened to be Su Ho.

" All of you are going on the mission. You seemed to know each other so I will make this meeting a quick one, " The majesty started.

The three guards, Baek Hyun, Chan Yeol and Su Ho listened to him attentively, aware that the mission is very important but they will be rewarded at the end.

" This is a map of Earth, " The king got out a huge piece of paper with writings all over. " I heard from the ministers that there are devils at this area labeled ' South Korea '. I am not sure why they choose this place but I will seperate the three of you. Baek Hyun-ssi, you will go to this place called Seoul, " He pointed at the map. " Chan Yeol-ssi, you are going to Myeongdong and Su Ho-ssi is going to Gangnam. Are you clear about this part? "

" Yes, your majesty, " The three guards replied at the same time.

" You should be know that an angel's power would always be more powerful of the devil's right? " The majesty asked.

" Yes, your majesty, " The guards chorused.

" That's why I am only sending three of you. I might send more if you need help. Also, you can tell a devil or an evil soul by seeing the color of the aura that is around them. A devil will give off a black coloured aura and a normal human being would give off blue aura. Angels like us give off a white aura which would not be easily detected by a devil in the morning but you are highly advised not to go out at night because you will become an easy prey to the devils lurking near your area. Do you understand? "

" Yes, your majesty. " All the guards answered at once.

" End of meeting, you can be dismissed. I will call you up if there is any other things to say. Oh, and about the device I'm talking about the previous time. It would be given to you before you leave for the mission so don't worry about that, " The king walked out of the room and Se Hun, who was on duty, followed him.

" Will the mission be tough? How many devils will we see? Are we going to- "

" Yah, Su Ho, stop worrying will you? You are pacing up and down and making me dizzy, " Chan Yeol complained.

" But what if there are more devils than we expected? Will we die from fighting them? " Su Ho became more worried than ever.

" You forgot that we have powers, " Baek Hyun teleported beside him.

" Oh yea, I forgot, " Su Ho used his power to move a tea cup and got a drink.

" Relax, we got five more days to stay here. " Chan Yeol said lazily.

" Why do five days past by so quickly?! " Chan Yeol was about to lose his mind. Since it was the day the three guards leave, the king had prepared a feast for them. " Baek Hyun, don't take so much kimchi! I want that!!! " He whined. The guys were dressed up like beggars so that someone on Earth would help them when they get there.

" There's more than enough the three of you. I will tell the kitchen to prepare more if you would like, " The king spoke up.

" Thank you, your majesty, " Chan Yeol grinned like a child.

" Such a kid, " Su Ho whispered to him.

Chan Yeol gave him a glare but Su Ho just rolled his eyes.

" Cut it out, the both of you, " Baek Hyun said in annoyance as he got his plate of food to the table.

The other two guards joined him too and they were talking non-stop which was pretty much irritating to the king who was watching them before sending them away.

" Your majesty, when are we getting the special device that we can communicate with you? " Chan Yeol asked him as he was biting on a piece of chicken.

" After your feast, Chan Yeol-ssi. "

" Really? Let's eat quickly! " He hurried the other two guards and swallowed his bowl of rice without chewing. The king was pretty much digusted by them but he had to keep a serious face. They do look and act like beggars. =.=

" Your majesty, we are all full now, " Chan Yeol burped and the other two gave him a glare. " What? " He wiped his mouth with his sleeve.

" I will first give you guys the device which enables communication between the two worlds. "

" Great! " Chan Yeol cheered, earning himself a hit from Baek Hyun. " Ouch! " He said softly.

" This is called a watch on Earth but yours is not just any watch. " He handed them each of the device. " As you can see, there are several buttons and I will tell you how to use this. Just in case the humans find your watch a little weird. " The king showed them the way by pressing the buttons in a pattern and they had to memorise it.

" This is so confusing, " Baek Hyun sighed.

" See? I did it!!! " Chan Yeol said proudly and was able to give the king's device a call successfully.

" Good. Chan Yeol-ssi, prepare to go to Earth. " The king told the palace maids to get ready. " Know that your wings would be gone so the humans would not suspect you are an alien or angel. It would hurt but the pain would be gone quickly. "

" Would we have our powers? " Baek Hyun asked.

" Yes, you would have but do not use it in front of humans. "

" Chan Yeol-ssi, are you ready? " The king asked as Chan Yeol got his watch on.

" Yes, your majesty! " He replied.

" Alright then, " The king got a little tornado on his palm and shot it at Chan Yeol, sending him flying into the clouds and to Earth.

" AHHHHH!!!!!! " He was shouting hysterically.

" I see him now. Let me try to call him, " The king pressed his watch.

" Your majesty, my back hurts and my wings are gone!!! " He whined into his device.

" Good job, Chan Yeol. Make sure you find those devils, "

" Yes, your majesty, "

The king turned to Su Ho and made him shiver.

" Su Ho-ssi, are you ready? "

" Ye-Yes, your majesty. " In the blink of an eye, Su Ho was also shot down to Earth. The king used the same method to try communicate with him and the call was also successful. Baek Hyun secretly laughed at how both of his friends were whining about their wings being gone and bleeding profusely.

" Baek Hyun-ssi, are you ready? "

" Yes, your majesty, " Baek Hyun regretted mocking at his friends as soon as he was sent flying. He felt the life of him drained as his wings got sucked into his body. He felt his bones burning and body shrinking when he was in mid-air. The wings being sucked back into his body could have caused a hole in his back but he didn't really care since he had the ability to heal quickly when his powers are still with him.

Thud!

He landed on the cold hard ground, falling onto his butt. Glad that he didn't lose his life from that great fall.

" Ouch! " He rubbed his back and felt the watch on his wrist vibrate.

" Baek Hyun-ssi, are you there safely? " The king asked.

" Yes, your majesty. I'm bleeding T^T " He whined like his other friends.

" At least your fine then thats okay, " The king hung up.

" What a heartless king! " He pouted and sat there on the ground, hoping someone would help him in this world that he was not familiar with.
