The sun began to rise and Jiseok began to stir. Five more minutes was all he wanted but his alarm sounded for him to wake up whilst the sun peaked through the curtains. Another same old boring work day. Gaon would sigh and shuffle out of the bed. He stood in front of a mirror for a solid minute whilst trying to wake up before heading to the bathroom and brushing his teeth. He flung on whatever clothes he could find which happened to be a forest coloured jumper and a pair of jeans. He grabbed his keys and left his apartment.
"You're late Jiseok, you okay?" A voice said. It was the café manager Chris.
"I'm fine Chan, sorry I'm late," Jiseok sighed tying his apron around his waist. "just slept in." Chan gave a nod and went back to whatever work he was doing. Jiseok was managing the counter so naturally dealing with some unpleasant customers
"Can't you do your job?! It's cold!" Screamed a woman.
"My apologies ma'am, we can make you a new coffee." Jiseok said in his best customer service voice
"No! You kids are so rude!" She flung her coffee at the poor barista and stormed out.
Jiseok frowned looking at his now soaked apron. Uncalled for. He scoffed. "Who's next?"
"Well she was a hoot." A boy said facing the direction of the door. Jiseok could of sworn he saw their face before...but where?
"Seungmin?" Jiseok tilted his head
"Hm, how do you know my na-" His eyes widened "Gaon? You work here?!"
"Yeah." He'd nod.
