Adrien and Marinette both ignored Lila for the following days, there was no reason for them to acknowledge her existence if she was just going to be rude and rub salt in a still very fresh wound. Sitting at their old table at the café they used to go to both couples now happily seated next to their partners. "So are you two official yet?" Alya asked looking at Marinette and Adrien with a wide smirk, the future reporter was always looking for the next big scoop, and in her mind, this was it, Paris's teenage heartthrob Adrien Agreste officially off the market, she could already see the headline on her blog that had been increasingly gaining more attention as she covered more screen to seen soulmate interviews. Marinette and Adrien looked at each other, blushing slightly as they hadn't fully discussed their relationship and whether they were official or not.

"I guess..." Marinette spoke nervously as she giggled with a wide goofy smile on her face that only proved how nervous she was saying it out loud. "Yeah, we're together." Adrien confirmed, hearing it come out of her mouth making him grin wide and wrap his arm around her shoulder and kiss the side of his now officially girlfriend's head.

The blonde didn't seem nervous at all that he was openly admitting to now dating his childhood best friend, the girl that got him to open up, the same girl who hugged him as tight as she possibly could at his mother's funeral service. The same girl he would happily devote the rest of his life to, pulling her close to his chest he smiled wide as Alya snapped a quick picture of the couple, Marinette was smiling wide yet blushing as they were photographed together as a couple for the first time, it meant far more to her than just a picture of her and Adrien, it was her and her boyfriend Adrien, the guy she was so connected to that not even semi-permanent memory loss could drag them away from each other.

"The lucky girl who got The Adrien Agreste as her soulmate, Marinette Dupain-Cheng, future Agreste." Alya spoke aloud as she wrote on her blog from her phone, excited to post that two of her best friends were officially confirmed soulmates and Marinette's face only flared into a bright red blush as Alya stated the words 'Future Agreste' it was hard for her to even remotely comprehend the fact that she would eventually be Adrien's wife, not for a long time, but that was her fate as Adrien's soulmate.

Marinette was confused as she watched someone almost unfamiliar approach them before the girl in front of them suddenly became all to familiar, the same girl from Adrien's 13th birthday, though it looked like she was the only other person in the group that recognized her aside from Adrien. "Kagami!" Marinette pressed a quick kiss to Adrien's cheek before jumping up and climbing over her now officially boyfriend and rushing over to the Japanese girl, meeting her almost in the middle. "It's been way to long!" Marinette greeted the seemingly emotionless 18 year old who had been training in fencing with Adrien for the last 4 years in Marinette's absence.

"Ah Marinette, I hadn't heard you were back." Kagami spoke trying her best to give the friendly girl a smile in her own awkward manner but the smile came out rather forced making Marinette's smile falter slightly before widening it once again and dragging her to the table with Adrien, Alya, and Nino. "Slide over." Marinette demanded to the grinning blonde who did as his soulmate said chuckling at her eagerness to greet the rather closed off Kagami Tsurugi. "If I had that kind of authority over you you'd never beat me in fencing." Kagami commented on how the blonde obeyed Marinette so whole heartedly, Adrien blushed slightly realizing he really could never say no to Marinette even if he knew she was in the wrong. "That's what happens when you're in love." Alya teased looking at Adrien and Marinette who blushed bright red at the comment from their outspoken brunette friend.

Kagami looked confused at the comment of Marinette and Adrien being in love. The bustling café around them was vibrant as people were rushing all around the location, making their conversation seem even more insignificant to everyone else in the world, but hearing of Adrien being in love, made Kagami all the more interested to learn how this came to be in the situation of Marinette being gone for multiple years and not hearing anything of the similarly navy haired French-Italian-Chinese girl sitting next to her, hugging onto the arm of the blonde Kagami had grown quite fond of in the last 4 years, the boy who always seemed so quiet yet now was full of life as she observed the friend group, he would exchange loving looks with Marinette, they were very obviously deeply in love with each other, they didn't even need words for them to know it, Kagami was observant enough to recognize that.

"Are you two soulmates?" Kagami asked blatantly looking at Adrien and Marinette, who blushed and nodded, Adrien moving his arm over Marinette's shoulder protectively and pulling her close, they looked perfect together, the ideal couple, and it would definitely be good for Gabriel Agreste's brand, the fact that his son was happily in a relationship with a girl who was clearly within his standards based on her appearance alone, she didn't know much about her, but if she made Adrien happy she clearly couldn't be to bad. "Good, I'm happy for you two, I know that Lila had been all over Adrien in the last 4 years, so I'm glad to see Adrien actually happy." Kagami spoke with her flat yet sincere tone as she looked at the couple, who only seemed to brighten up at the approval of their relationship from her.
