Violetta's POV
"No" dad answered bluntly and my smile vanished.
"What! Why?" I asked annoyed.
I turned around and told Isabella and Luciana to come back later. They nodded and left the house.
" Dad, you can't keep treating me like a little girl anymore. I'm 15!" I shouted.
"I can do what I like Violetta, I'm your father" he shouted back.
"Well you're not a very good one!"I said and stormed out of the house.I took a walk around the area, trying to calm down. I just didn't understand why my dad wouldn't give me freedom. I kept walking and walking until my legs got tired. I took a seat on a nearby bench and waited there. I was about to get up and go when something inside me told me to stay. I felt like I needed to wait for something...someone. After a few minutes a lady came and sat beside me but she was facing the other way. She had a notebook out and was writing something, it looked like a song. She suddenly turned around to face me. "Oh, you don't mind if I sit here do you? It's my special songwriting spot..." Her voice trailed off near the end when she had looked at me for a while. "You can stay" I said, managing a slight smile. She kept staring at me. She had blonde hair and blue eyes. She kept looking at me and I felt a bit uncomfortable.
"Violetta" she said quietly, whispering to herself.
I was surprised at a bit confused as to how she knew my name.
"How do you know my name?" I asked. She came out of what seemed to be her trance and looked a bit flustered.
"Oh you know...you just look like a Violetta to me. I guess names like that" she said quickly. Though I was not fully convinced, I had other things to think about so I ignored that awkward moment.
"Um, are you ok? You look kind of sad" she said gently.
I hesitated, not knowing if I should tell my problems to a stranger. I decided to tell her anyway.
"It's just that I really wanted to go to a party during the summer and go to beaches with my friends and other places but my dad won't let me" I said quietly. She looked at me for a minute again and then said "Maybe you should talk to him. Ask him why he doesn't want you to go"
I knew she was right but I already know the reason, he's overprotective. I guess it was worth a shot though.
"Thanks, I'll try that" I said and got up to go home.At home I walked in and saw my dad sitting on the sofa. He walked up to me. "Violetta there's something I have to tell you" he said. "First dad, tell me, why don't you want me to have fun this summer and go to parties and beaches" I asked.
"That's what I wanted to tell you. Violetta, I got a job. In Buenos Aires, Argentina. We're moving"Angie's POV
