The clock struck at 7. Her lucky number since she could remember,
Stars glimmered beautifully around the moon, having a cosmic harmony,
Reflected their harmonious talk related to their favorite couple in the show,
Curious about the person Averus' talked to, he checked Claire's profile,
Never did she forget the moment he asked whether she played on Steam in December,
"You use steam?? What games do you enjoy?" was sent 3 hours before she noticed was funny,
Shocked at the gap of time between his sent messages and her response was slow,
"Oh my goodness, I didn't get a notification that you messaged me!" She replied,
He did not look mind with the fact she replied to him late, "Haha, no problem!",
Their discussion grew from just a mere topic about the show, into their preferred games,
He came up with a game called, 4 Days to Live, a zombie apocalypse multiplayer,
Frightening screech sound of the zombie and with sneaking ability must be complied,
Goosebumped skin of hers activated just by putting herself had to march in column,
Heart pounded, feet told her to run, gunshots in hand mixed with her exclaims,
Three bullets were shot. Finding Averus was aiming his gun at her direction,
Touched by the fact he saved her life, she wrote, "Thank you" on the game chat box,
With the help of the arrows pointed at where the safe house was, zombies were killed easily,
BANG! The safe door slammed before her eyes as Averus closed it,
"That was intense." she wrote with her chest felt light knowing they were under protection,
"It's hard to type in game while shooting. Would you join my server?" said he in the chat box,
Eyes widened as she read it. Shocked by the possibility that her heart might dropped speedily,
He is one gorgeous man, who has a splendid sense of humor,
Patient in teaching me how to play, I am willing to bet his voice is sexy,
After a lot of convincing Averus took to make her speak to him, she won the bet,An old light blue earphone on her ears vibrates Averus' deep mellifluous voice whose delicate pair of sparkling light brown eyes are reflecting a light. With his light golden brown hair beautifully swept back decorates his soft smile wonderfully in his profile picture. Her heart skipped a beat. The edges of her sealed lips lifted, creating a small smile on her face.
"Do you have any questions?" his soothing voice woke her from her daydream,
Hundreds of thoughts about how to respond flooded her mind,
Her lips were opened but failed to utter a single word,
Until his soft breath made a gentle vibration in her earphone,
"... I take that as a no, then. If you have any questions, let me know,
..I will gladly explain things to you again."
No sound is delivered to him. "...okay."
Not wanting to end the call with the awkward shyness she was feeling,
She gathered her confidence together,
Although she knows her microphone was on from the start,
She shamelessly asks, "How do you turn on the microphone?"
- Present Time -
"Whoa, babe! I can't believe you lied to me about the microphone!" Averus bursts into laughter,
She laughs along with him, "My heart was beating so fast! That was the quickest excuse I could think of."
Smiles and touches of laughter decorate her one last honest thought she revealed to him.
To be continued...
