An hour almost had passed since Anton left and Viago had gotten so much done during that time spent alone in the werewolf's house. He had finished the dishes and hung up all of Anton's clothes back in his closet. He managed to dust everything in Anton's home, leaving no layer of dust in sight, except the window sills since he couldn't go near them in fear of being burnt to ash. He then swept and mopped every single floor that didn't contain a rug and what did, he vacuumed (which took him a bit to learn how to use since Anton's vacuum is state of the art and not like the one he had since the 70s). The vampire cleaned the living room, kitchen, hallways, and even the bathroom leaving every room he entered spotless.

Now he was in Anton's living room spraying various picture frames with glass cleaner before using a cloth to wipe them. Most of the pictures were of Anton and his pack on various trips or at what looked to be sports games to Viago. He would smile and briefly glance at them but there was one picture that made him pause, setting the spray and cloth down, holding the picture in his hands to get a closer look. It was a picture of a young Anton, standing in front of the park sign where he worked. He also noticed some words engraved in the wooden picture frame that said 'First day as Park Ranger'. Viago read the words with a smile before looking back at the picture of Anton. He looked so young in this picture, wearing the same ranger outfit he still wears, however, he didn't dawn his signature ranger hat that he always wears, revealing his hair in the photo which was a darker auburn color than it is now. It was also longer and not as short as he kept it now, never realizing how curly it gets when it was long. His face was also clean-shaven and didn't sport his stubble beard that Viago was rather fond of. The vampire couldn't help but smile wider, looking at Anton's eyes, which still had a brightness to them even now and he found that he was still rather dashing in this photo as he is today. Once he was done looking at it he placed it back where he found it on a coffee table going to reach for another one.

However, he paused when he heard his phone ding causing him to blink in surprise. He gently placed the picture frame back and set the spray bottle down once more before reaching for his phone and checking who it was. He smiled when he read that it was Stu, sending him a message, which he clicked on causing it to pop up, and reading it to himself.

Stu: Hey Vi. I'm at the house now. I got the soil and will bring it right to Anton's.

Viago sighed with relief. He was lucky to have friends like Stu, without his ancestral soil he would have become irritable all day and kind of cranky. The vampire began to type him back, taking a long time to send a message on his ancient phone before sending it.

Viago: Danke Stu. You're a lifesaver.

Stu: Not a problem. Is there anything else that you need me to bring before I leave?

Viago thought for a moment not sure if he needed anything for the boys' day. He didn't want to crash boys' day empty-handed, feeling like he should have a peace offering of some sort or an icebreaker of some kind. In truth, he was very nervous about what Anton's pack members would think of him joining them today. He didn't want any of them mad at him for intruding. He thought long and hard before an idea popped into his mind, causing him to look down at his phone and begin to type.

Viago: Actually I do have a request if you'd be so kind as to fetch the items from the craft room.

...

Meanwhile, a few minutes later, Anton finally got back from the store, coming home with the packs' favorite snacks and drinks. He did pick up a couple of six-packs for the game but he decided not to drink himself that day since Viago was over. Now he was pulling bags out of his trunk, carrying all of them in his arms so he wouldn't have to make two trips. Once he had a grip on all the bags and had the trunk shut he quickly made his way toward the house. It was around 8:50 now so he had about an hour to get the house ready. So he made his way up on the porch, fishing for his keys which was difficult at first due to carrying multiple bags in his hands but he managed, placing the key in the door and twisting it until he heard a soft click watching the door crack open slightly.

"Hey Vi I'm back. I'm coming in now," He called into the house, opening the door slowly before quickly slipping through the door kicking it softly closed as he walked in, still looking at the door to make sure that it was closed as he spoke. "I got all the snacks and drinks for the boys. I hope you weren't too bored when I... was... Out."

Anton paused, stopping in his tracks at the state that his house was in. His house looked absolutely spotless. There was not a single speck of dust anywhere in sight and the floors glistened and he could smell a hint of lemon indicating that they had been mopped. But what surprised him was seeing Viago in the middle of the living room, holding glass cleaner spray and one of his picture frames, wearing the pink apron that he kept in the towel closet, finding that he looked kind of attractive in it.

"Ah! Welcome back Liebling!" Vianton exclaimed happily, placing the picture frame back where it was and hooking the spray onto his apron before walking up to the surprised Anton. He then leaned in and placed a quick kiss on his lips before pulling back with a smile. "I missed you! I wasn't too bored I managed to distract myself while you were gone. Here, let me help you with those!"

"Uh thank you," Was all Anton could say, watching as Viago took multiple bags from him, before walking toward the kitchen. Anton remained there for a second or two in stunned silence before he snapped out of it, following Viago into his kitchen, watching as the vampire began to unbag everything and place it on the countertop. He then looked over to the sink, his surprise only growing when he saw that the dishes were done as well. This caused him to cast his gaze over to the vampire that still busied with placing all the snacks on the counter, prompting him to put his bags down as he spoke. "Did... did you clean my house while I was out?"

"Oh yes, I did!" Viago answered looking at him with a smile, placing a bag of chips on the counter as he spoke. "I was looking through your lovely home when I noticed that your clothes were on the floor in your room and I decided to hang them up for you. Then since I was at it, I decided to do your dishes so that they wouldn't pile up. After I dusted, swept, and mopped every room as well as wiped down the counters and tables. Though I didn't get the windows since well you know," He shrugged motioning to one of the bright windows with a chuckle not noticing Anton's surprised look. "Let's see what else? Hmm... Oh! and I cleaned the bathrooms for you-."

"Wait, why did you do all of that?" Anton asked causing the vampire to pause, looking at him in question. "You didn't have to go and clean the whole house for me."

"Oh well... You said that you needed to get the house clean for boys' day," Viago began to explain, nervously grabbing at the apron strings, playing with them as Anton's features softened, listening to the vampire as he spoke. "And you were running a bit behind on schedule so I thought I might help and lighten the list of things you needed done so you wouldn't have to worry and be stressed." He then looked up at Anton with a worried look on his face. "I didn't intrude did I? I'm sorry if you didn't want me touching anything in the house I just wanted to help-," He paused when Anton made his way to him, reaching up and placing a hand on his face before leaning in, giving the vampire a tender kiss, leaving him frozen in shock.

Anton then pulled away, looking at a shocked Viago with a grateful smile. "Thank you so much, Vi," He whispered, rubbing circles on the side of Viago's cheek with his thumb as he spoke. "This really means a lot to me."

"So you're not angry that I cleaned your house without your knowledge?" Viago questioned, still holding the apron strings tightly.

"No, babe. I'm not angry," Anton chuckled turning his head to look around. "You've done a fantastic job. Looks better than when I clean the house. The place is spotless... You're fantastic."

"Oh you flatter me," Viago whispered letting go of the strings and now resting his hands on Anton's shoulders as he spoke. "Being in a house with two messy flatmates will turn you into a clean freak. It doesn't look as spotless as your home due to how old it is, but there's only so much a vampire can do."

"Hmm, and I'm kind of digging the apron you have on right now." Anton chuckled, wrapping his arms around Viago's waist, pulling him closer, and placing a couple of kisses on Viago's cheek, feeling the vampire leaning into his kisses. He then slowly moved down to his neck and pulled him closer causing the vampire to giggle.

"Now now none of that silly wolf," Viago grinned placing a hand on his chest and ever so gently pushing away from Anton stopping him from kissing him which caused the werewolf to slightly frown. "We have a boys' day we have to get ready for, remember?"

"Shit right," Anton squint his eyes shaking his head with a sigh, pulling back slightly to look back at Viago. "Sorry."

"Don't apologize," Viago whispered, placing one more kiss on Anton's lips before motioning over to the rest of the bags. "I'll help you set everything up."

Anton smiled at that giving him a grateful nod as they both pulled away, beginning to unbag all of the items that he got from the store. Once every item was out of the back, Anton put the drinks in the fridge while Viago got out various bowls from the cabinet. Together they both filled each bowl with various snacks. They then brought all the bowls of snacks into the living room, placing them all on the coffee table. Viago was neatly fixing the bowls on the table while Anton began to pull out gaming consoles. This caught the vampire's attention his eyes going wide at a triangular device in his boyfriend's hand.

"Ooh, what is that very interesting piece of technol-o-gy you have there love?" He questioned walking up to Anton, looking from the device to Anton.

Anton paused, his eyes looking from the device to Viago as he spoke. "Oh, it's a switch," He began to explain holding it out to Viago. "You play video games on it. Mostly Nintendo games but there are other things you can play too."

"Oh yes I've heard of these devices called switches," Viago smiled, taking the switch from Anton as he spoke. "How does it work?"

"Well you can turn it on here," Anton began to explain, turning the switch on for him watching as Viago's face lit up in surprise. "Then you use these two controllers to pick a game and play."

"Very interesting," Viago whispered, using the control sticks to move the options around.

"Yes, but you can also take the controllers off. Watch." Anton then took the switch from Viago who was watching the switch intently. He then pulled the controls off of the tiny screen with a quick swip causing the vampire to gasp. He chuckled before walking over to the TV. "Once they are off you could put this tiny screen in the switch console and it will hook it to the TV." With that he placed the tiny screen in the console slot, watching as the TV lit up with the exact same screen as the tiny one. He then looked up at Viago who was staring at the TV in surprise. "Now you can play on the TV and if you want to play with friends you give them one of the controllers and you can both play."

"This is incredible," Viago whispered his eyes still on the TV as he walked next to Anton. He was amazed at how much humanity has evolved and how much technology has changed throughout the years. He then beamed, looking at Anton as he spoke. "You've got to show me how to play this switches device."

"Well, when the boys get here, we can all play it," He chuckled turning to Viago with a grin. "I can show you how to play Mario Kart if you'd like. And if you get bored of that, we have other games plus the Xbox. But I must warn you the boys are pretty competitive when they play these."

"It's alright. It'll be fun," Viago grinned before he began to frown, looking down with a conflicted look on his features. "I just hope that they don't mind that I am here."

Anton frowned at that as well watching as Viago began to play with his hoodie sleeves nervously his eyes cast to the ground. In truth, the werewolf was nervous as well. This was the first time he's had Viago around the boys ever since they started dating. Sure he sat them down and told them that they were both an item now so it's no secret that they were together but they haven't actually seen them together in person yet. It was a little rocky at first when he first told them. It was also the first time he came out as Bisexual to the group so there were a lot of questions he had to answer. Sure they had their doubts. Not on the fact that he was Bi, they were more than okay with that, but they had doubts about him, a werewolf dating a vampire. He did however remind them that it wasn't just any vampire, it was Viago who was one of their friends now, reminding them that the Te Aro wolfpack were no longer enemies with this group of vampires. In the end, most of them were on board. He knew Stu supported him from the moment they started dating (him being the one to convince Anton to have the meeting in the first place) and he knew that the others would follow suit eventually. Clifton however, wasn't so easily swayed, still telling him that this might be a big mistake and is worried for their alpha's safety. But Anton won't budge, he knows that Viago cares for him and wouldn't do anything to cause him harm.

So Anton looked at the nervous vampire before setting the switch control down and taking Viago's fidgeting hands into his own, getting his attention. "I get that you're very nervous right?" He questioned watching as Viago bit his lower lip, nodding his head with a frown. "I'm a little nervous myself, some of them are still a little on the fence about us dating I won't lie."

"... Oh." Viago frowned at that lowering his head in disappointment, but he paused when Anton placed his hand under his chin, lifting his head to make him look up, seeing that the werewolf had a smile on his face.

"It's not your fault," Anton began with a reassuring smile. "They're just worried for my well-being since werewolves and vampires have been enemies for so long," He then placed his hand on the side of Viago's face. "But you and I are gonna show them that there is nothing to worry about. We're gonna show them that you're nothing but a kind wonderful and very handsome person." He grinned as Viago let out a giggle, reaching up to hold his hand that was still on the vamp's face, smiling as he leaned into his palm with a sigh. "You'll see, it'll all work out."

"Hmm, I hope so," Viago whispered, looking at Anton with a grateful look in his eyes. "Thank you, love."

"Of course," Anton said back before motioning over to TV. "Let's finish setting up the consoles."

Viago gave him a nod, placing a quick kiss on Anton's hand before he pulled away, both now going back to setting up the TV. After a few minutes, they finished setting up the consoles and were now sitting on the couch. Anton was texting the group chat asking if they all were up and had transportation to get to his house, receiving either a thumbs up or confirmation that they were up and getting ready. He then looked over at Viago, who went back to fixing the bowls on the table causing him to smile, knowing that Viago wanted everything to be all nice and neat before his friends got here. A sudden knock at the door got both their attention causing them to look up.

"I'll get it," Anton began as he got up with a grunt. "Stay there so the sun won't hit ya."

"Alright, dear." Viago smiled, going back to tidying the area now moving on to picture frames that were near him.

Anton walked up to the door, sniffing the air a second catching a familiar scent, picking up that it was one of his pack members. So he unlocked and opened the door to see that it was Stu, being the first to show up as always. "Well, hey Stu. I'm glad you can make it."

"Hey," Stu said quietly with a smile, walking in as Anton closed the door behind him. "Glad to be here."

"Ah, Stu!" Viago exclaimed excitedly, getting up from the couch and walking toward the two werewolves. "You've made it!"

"Yep," Stu then reached into a satchel he had to his side before pulling out a rather large and old-looking pouch. "And I uh brought your soil you wanted."

"Oh you are a lifesaver, Stu," Viago sighed with relief, taking the bag from him, and looking it over before smiling at Stu, and pulling him into a warm hug. "I don't know what we'd do without you."

"I'm just glad to help." Stu smiled, giving Viago a pat on the back before the vampire pulled away.

"We really appreciate it mate," Anton said, patting Stu on the back whose smile got a little brighter at that, before nodding his head shyly. "So, have you heard from any of the others? Didn't need a ride or anything?"

"So far, no," Stu answered, all three of them walking toward the couch, Stu sitting in a recliner near the couch as he spoke. "Last I checked, both Nathans and Clifton are riding together, Dion is taking the bus and Declan is driving solo."

"Oh, Declan got his car to work?" Anton grinned receiving a nod from Stu. "Did he take it to the shop like I asked him to?"

"No, he said he fixed it last night."

Anton let out a sigh at that. "That means he didn't fix it," He whispered, remembering how he said he 'fixed it' five other times and the car would always break down when he used it. "Let's hope it breaks down near my place. I swear, I give them the salutions and it goes over their head like a stick being thrown."

"Well, he doesn't live too far so he should make it."

"I'm sure we'll receive a call from him if he doesn't," Anton chuckled, leaning back on the couch with a sigh, changing the subject. "I think we got everything ready. I went out and got the snacks, the consoles are set up and Viago was kind enough to clean that house while I was out. Isn't that right babe?" He questioned looking over at Viago but his smile fell upon seeing his boyfriend. "Babe?"

Viago was leaned back on the couch with his eyes closed, hugging his pouch of ancestral soil close to his chest, his chest slowly rising and falling, indicating that he had fallen asleep.

Anton looked at him with a fond smile before looking over at Stu who grinned. He then scooted closer to Viago, gently placing his hand on his shoulder, and lightly shaking him. "Hey Vi? Wake up." He whispered, watching as Viago's eyes fluttered open before he sat up with a jolt, blinking rapidly.

"I'm awake!" He nearly shouted, causing the two werewolves to jump slightly, he then looked over at Anton his eyes feeling droopy once more. "I'm sorry, love, I'm being a terrible guest. It's just as soon as I got my ancestral soil I got so sleepy all of a sudden."

"Hey, it's alright, babe. We know it's late for you right now," Anton reassured looking over at Stu who gave Viago a nod, agreeing with the other werewolf. Anton then turned back to Viago who could bearly keep awake, so he looked down at his watch. "Well, it's only... 9:10 right now," He then looked back at Viago, taking his hand into his own to get his attention. "Do you want to take a nap before they get here?"

"That would be nice," Viago whispered with a smile, trying to keep his head up finding that it kept drooping before he caught it. "An hour or rest should be enough for now."

"Here, you can rest in my room," Anton said as he got up, still holding Viago's hand. "It'll be more comfortable for you there."

"Oh, are you sure?" Viago questioned looking up at Anton.  "I'm fine with just resting here."

"It's alright, I insist," Anton reassured. "It's quiet in my room."

Viago thought about it for a second, before giving him a nod. He clutched his pouch closely as he stood up, almost falling over before Anton caught him.

"Easy there. You okay to walk?" He questioned, receiving a tired nod from Viago. "Okay, let's get you settled," He then began leading the sleepy vampire toward the stairs before looking at Stu. "I'll be right back."

"Take your time," Stu grinned before looking at Viago as they passed. "Get some rest, Vi."

"Danke Stu, you sweet man," Viago said grogly, letting Anton lead him toward the steps.

After a bit, they finally made it to Anton's room where the werewolf, let Viago get into his bed pulling the sheet up and pulling them over the vampire. He then tucked the blankets to keep them from falling off of him. "There that should be good," Anton whispered before, grabbing Viago's pouch and setting it under the bed right under where the vampire was sleeping. After, he messed with the alarm clock setting it for one hour, before turning back to Viago who was looking at him with a sleepy smile. "You're soil is right under you and I set an alarm for an hour, so you won't miss a thing. Are you comfortable?"

"Hmm, very," Viago whispered, snuggling into the sheets. "This bed smells like you."

"Yeah sorry for that," Anton whispered cringing slightly.

"No, no. I like it," Viago quickly said. "It's very calming. Makes me feel like you're here laying with me."

"You know I could arrange that," Anton grinned, placing a hand on Viago's chest.

"Maybe another time, love," Viago whispered, looking up at Anton with a small smile. "You've got a guest downstairs."

"Right, right," Anton looked toward the door for a second before looking back down. "Raincheck then."

Anton watched as Viago gave him a nod before the vampire yawned, finding it hard to keep his eyes open now. So he leaned down placing a kiss on Viago's cheek. "You just get some sleep love. I'll see you in an hour."

"Hmm, night night Anton. I love you." Viago whispered with a sigh, beginning to drift off.

"Love you too," Anton whispered as he began to slowly back out of the room, grabbing a hold of the door handle to pull it closed. He did however pause to look at him one last time, watching as Viago let out a sigh before rolling onto his side, hugging his sheets close as he slept. A warm feeling formed in Anton's chest as he smiled at the vampire in his bed before softly closing the door behind him.

Anton made it back downstairs to see Stu, messing with the switch before looking up at him with a smile.

"I saw that this was on," Stu explained holding up the switch. "Couldn't help myself."

"Have at it, mate." Anton smiled patting his shoulder before sitting on the couch closer to Stu, letting out a sigh.

"Did Viago fall asleep?"

"As soon as the lights went out," Anton answered. "Want him to at least get some shut-eye before the boys get here."

Stu could only smile at the alpha leader, resting the switch in his lap as he spoke. "You're good for him," He began, getting Anton's attention, whose features softened. "And he's good for you. I've noticed how happy he makes ya ever since you to have gotten together."

Anton smiled at that, thinking over his words. Even he noticed that he felt a whole lot happier now that he was with the vampire. Ever since his ex-wife ended things with him, he went into a slump for a few years. For the first few months, he couldn't even get out of bed, Stu having to be the one to practically drag him out. He had become more irritable with the others as well, snapping at them more than usual during full moons. He knew he shouldn't take it out on his pack, and he should have tried to make an effort to be better but it was hard, life felt meaningless. That was until Stu came to him and suggested hanging with the vamps more often, thinking that he needed to get out more and hang out with others outside of the pack, noticing that Anton didn't go out anymore ever since the divorce and secluded himself in his home. Only comes out for work or his pack.

So, reluctantly, he agreed. Either inviting the vamps on outings or going to either their house or meeting him at his old one. That's when he fully got to know Viago, who was a lot different from his flatmates. He was kinder, never insulting him or his pack for being what they were, and if he did say something slightly rude, he didn't mean it, thinking he was being nice until someone pointed it out, which he'd apologize profusely not wanting to offend them. Anton never got offended by it, he thought it was kind of adorable.

The more he and his pack hung out with the vamps, the more he got to know Viago and he found himself not being able to wait for the next time they hung out. The vampire would make a B-line toward him every time, always striking up a conversation first, asking him tons of questions about himself, being fully interested in him, and wanting to get to know him better. At first, he was pretty standoffish about it, afraid to give too much, but over time he began to open up to him and began to ask about him as well, wanting to know everything about the vampire, finding that he wanted to talk to him more and more. Over time, he began to grow rather fond of Viago, finding that he was sweet and kind and very silly. The longer he got to know him the more he grew to love him and he was more than grateful that the vampire felt the same way.

"I am a lot happier with him," Anton whispered fondly with a sigh, looking up at Stu. "I kind of have to thank you for that... If you hadn't suggested hanging with them more, I probably wouldn't be with him today."

"Oh I don't know," Stu said with a shrug. "Something tells me that you would have found each other anyway. I don't know if you're both like soul mates or something."

Anton smiled at that, feeling like Stu was right about that. "I think agree with that. Never really believed in that stuff. Fate and all that but ever since I got with him, I guess it's kind of true. Now I feel like I can't live without him." He then frowned, clamping his two hands together, resting his elbows on his knees as he spoke. "Which is why I'm hopping guys' day goes well with him around... I know some of the boys are still not fully on board with me and him being together."

"I think it's just mostly Clifton," Stu sighed crossing his arms as he leaned back. "He's probably still angry at that glove smack that night when I was still human," He grinned watching as Anton let out a chuckle at that. "As for the others, I think they are just slightly cautious."

Anton gave him a nod, looking at the coffee table in front of him as he let out a sigh. "I just hope they fully come around. Viago's the sweetest vampire I know. I just want them to get to know him."

Stu stared at Anton for the longest time before he reached out, placing a comforting hand on Anton's shoulder, watching as the alpha looked up at him, causing him to smile at him. "They'll come around. I'm sure they'll all be following him around like puppies."

Anton smiled at Stu's words, reaching up to pat the young werewolf's hand. "You know you'd make a pretty good alpha one day."

"Hopefully not too soon," Stu joked as he pulled away. "I still don't know how you manage it."

"You get used to it after a while. But it's not for the weak," Anton chuckled, receiving a chuckle from the other. He then checked his watch for the time. "Well, everything is set up and ready. You want to play a few rounds of Mario Kart before the boys get here?"

"And go after your record?" Stu questioned, taking the controllers off the switch and handing him one of them. "Hell yes."

"Don't get too cocky now, I still remain undefeated." Anton grinned watching as Stu set the switch into the console, both turning toward the TV, clicking on the Mario Kart screen, both getting ready to play a few rounds.

It was finally 10 o'clock when both Stu and Anton finished a few rounds, finding out that Stu was pretty good considering that he beat Anton every single round. They were on their last round, Stu's Yoshi character beating Anton's Mario character once again causing Anton to sigh. "Damnit," He whispered under his breath.

"Werewolves not-

"Swearwolves, I know. I know," Anton sighed, looking over at Stu with a slightly puzzled look. "When were you so good at this?"

"Had a lot of practice against the others I guess," Stu whispered with a shrug. "Though, most of them aren't very good at it."

"True, which is why I have the highest record," Anton joked causing the other to grin, but they both paused when they heard a knock at the door. They both turned to the door, catching their scents and hearing a whole lot of bickering on the other side indicating that it was the pack. Anton began to feel slightly nervous again setting the controller down. "Okay, okay they are here," He whispered, beginning to pace slightly his palms suddenly became sweaty causing him to rub them against his jeans as he spoke. "It's gonna be fine. Vi's still asleep so I'll just break it to them gently before he comes down. Should be fine."

"Ant, you're pacing," Stu pointed out, knowing that he did that when he was nervous.

"I know Stu, I'm just nervous," Anton sighed, still pacing, his heart rate rising when he heard another knock at the door.

"Anton? You in there mate?" They heard Clifton on the other side of the door. "Yours and Stu's cars out here so you have to be."

"If their cars are here then chances are they are both in there," Dion grumbled.

"Okay don't be a smart ass alright?"

"Guys if he's in there, he'll hear you so stop swearing!" They heard Nathan G.

"Okay, okay. This'll be fine... It'll be fine... But what it's not fine?" Anton whispered, beginning to think of everything that could go wrong. "What if they leave when they know? What if they leave the door open too long and the sun hits Vi?

"Uh, Anton?"

"What if they attack him?... What if he attacks them?!"

"Anton?!"

"No he wouldn't do that," Anton whispered, his heart only pounding faster now, sounding like bass drums in his ears. "He's too kind. They have to see how kind he is. This has to work. It needs to work! It-!"

"Anton!" Stu snapped causing the werewolf to flinch looking at him in shock. "Your claws are out, mate."

Anton froze, looking down at his hands to see that his nails had grown to a point. Not only that, but fur was beginning to grow down his arms. It only ever happens when a werewolf's heart rate speeds up, bringing the wolf out sometimes. Some people think the wolf only comes out when angry or under a full moon, but sometimes they can come out when they are feeling really big emotions like stress and Anton didn't realize how stressed he was for this to work until now. This only made him feel more stressed, his breathing beginning to quicken as his fur continued to grow. It's already going downhill, he didn't want this to happen. He wanted today to be perfect now that Viago was joining, not wanting to transform right now.

"Hey, Anton? Anton look up," Stu said gently, resting his hands on Anton's shoulders, watching as he looked up at him his now yellow eyes full of worry. "You need to calm down. Count to ten, human again right?" He asked watching as Anton gave him a nod, beginning to breathe in slowly, counting to ten. "Count to ten human again. There you go."

With each breath, Anton's wolf traits began to subside, slowly bringing him back to human form. His heart rate slowed down as he inhaled and exhaled. He looked down at his hands watching as his claws turned back to nails with a sigh.

"There you go," Stu whispered watching as Anton looked up at him, his eyes back to normal. "It's gonna be okay. Nothing's gonna happen so long as you keep your cool. They'll only freak out if you're freaked out, okay?"

Anton gave Stu a nod, placing a hand on Stu's arm that was still on his shoulder. "Thank you."

Stu gave him a nod, before they both pulled away, hearing another knock at the door. Anton let out a sigh, walking toward the door. He hesitated for a second before, unlocking the door and putting on a smile as he opened the door to see his pack staring at him with a relieved grin.

"Hey! There he is!" Dion greeted, pulling Anton into a hug. "We were getting worried!"

"Hey guys!" Anton said, patting Dion before he pulled away. He then stepped aside, motioning for them to come in. "Come on in guys, make yourselves comfortable."

With that, they all began to pile in one by one. They all huddled into the living room looking around, all of them talking over each other before Dion began to speak. "Man, you really went all out this time yeah?" He questioned looking at the various snacks on the table before looking around the room. "And this place is spotless! It's cleaner than the last time we were here!"

"Not sure if I should take that as a compliment or not," Anton whispered as he closed the door, locking it behind him before walking up to the pack members and noticing that Clifton was looking around a lot more than the others.

"I mean it's a little surprising. Usually, you're too busy to dust," Clifton began, noticing that there wasn't a speck of dust anywhere. He then sniffed the air before looking at Anton with an arched eyebrow. "And mop... You hire a made or something?"

"I, uh..." Anton wasn't sure what to say, not ready to fully outright say that it wasn't him that cleaned the house but it was, in fact, his loving vampire boyfriend and surprise! He'll be joining us for boys' day! Yay!

Stu seemed to pick up on Anton's predicament so he quickly changed the subject. "Hey, I noticed that you showed up with these three, Dion," he began, getting the werewolf's attention. "The bus showed up at the same time as them then?"

"Oh yeah, it did!" Dion answered with a bright smile, walking up to Stu as he spoke. "I saw them pull up right when I was getting off the bus. Talk about perfect timing am I right?" He laughed receiving a laugh from the others.

"You uh, you haven't seen Declan out there by any chance?" Anton questioned, trying to ignore Clifton's watchful eye on him as he walked up to the rest of the pack. He could feel his eyes on him for a bit before he began to look around again, sniffing the air while he was at it. "I know he was driving separately."

"Yeah, he texted the chat saying he was on his way about what, 15 minutes ago?" Nathan G questioned, looking at the others who nodded their heads except for Clifton who was still looking around. "He shouldn't be too long."

"Why is this out?"

Anton turned to Clifton looking from him to the object in his hand causing him to freeze, realizing that it was the aloe ointment he used on Viago. He watched as the boys looked from the ointment to him in question causing his nerves to spike. "Well just had to use it for something." He answered with a shrug.

"You don't look like you have a sunburn." Clifton pointed out before sniffing the air again. "And do any of you smell Jasmine?"

Anton's eyes grew wide as the others sniffed the air murmuring to each other agreeing with Clifton. He then looked over at Stu wondering if he had any more ideas but he only shrugged unsure of what to do as he was. He then let out a sigh, turning to the others who were now looking at him waiting for answers. "Okay, guys... What I'm about to tell you is not a big deal-?"

"Why is your heart rate up if it isn't a big deal?" Clifton questioned, able to hear his heart rate from where he was.

"What did I tell you about listening to pack members heartbeats!" Anton snapped, causing the other to roll his eyes.

"So should we be worried right now or...?" Nathan then questioned looking between pack members.

"I mean if Anton is worried then yeah maybe." Dion shrugged.

"I am not worried guys!" He snapped, watching as they gave him a look that said 'Are you sure?' The alpha only sighed rubbing his face. "Okay, I'm a little worried but that doesn't mean you all should start worrying! This isn't a threatening situation!"

"Uh, where did this come from?" Clifton then questioned, lifting none other than Viago's vest, bringing it to his nose, and giving it a sniff. "It's that jasmine smell!" He exclaimed before looking at Anton. "Is there something you're not telling us?"

"Look... Guys, I'll tell you everything you just have to at least try to be cool with it okay?

"What does that mean? What are you-?"

"Anton darling," Viago suddenly called out as he walked down the stairs holding various board games in both hands looking down at them with a smile as he spoke. "I saw these in your closet earlier and thought it would be a fun pass time for when the boys get here-," The vampire fell silent looking up to see a bunch of eyes on him, looking around to see that it was Anton's pack members. "Oh, you're here! Happy boys' day everyone!"

Anton's eyes were wide as saucers as he slowly turned from Viago to the other pack members, a nervous smile forming on his face as he gestured to his boyfriend on the steps. "... Surprise!"

The werewolves only stared between Viago and Anton in shock, all of them unable to say anything. The only movement that happened was Clifton dropping the aloe vera and vest to the floor, equally as shocked if not more shocked than the others
