You are currently in the infirmary, your side has been bandaged, and you are just staring at the ceiling. That is when you heard the door to your room open and close. You turn your head to the side and see that your teammates, including Eren is there, but you notice that Levi found his way to the corner of the room.
"Hey, its good to see your alright." You hear Petra say.
"This is nothing, everyone's just making a big deal out of it." You complain.
"Are you sure? I mean it was a pretty deep gash." You hear Eld say.
"You guys forget, I'm not human, I can heal a lot faster than a human, but slower than a titan's healing capability." You say.
"But, your still injured and as of now, you can't move until proven that your fit for fighting." You hear Gunther scold.
"Fine, I'll do as I'm told, mom." You say in a mocking manner.
You hear the others chuckle at your poor excuse at humor.
After a few more minutes of talking you hear Levi finally speak.
"Okay, that's enough talking, (F/N) needs to rest." He says in his usual emotionless voice.
They all start to complain, but comply nonetheless.
Everyone leaves, but as soon as Levi goes to leave you call out to him, making him stop and turn around.
"I would like to speak to you privately, so would you mind closing the door?" You ask, and he does as he's told.
Levi makes his way to you bedside, pulling up a chair in the process.
"What is it, brat?" Levi asks you.
"I should be asking you that." You say, causing him to raise an eyebrow.
"What do you mean?" He asks.
"You haven't said anything since the ride here, and I have a feeling that something is bothering you." You say with a hint of concern evident in your voice.
"You really want to know?" He asks.
"Yes, I would." You say.
"Fine, I'll tell you, earlier you said that you were glad you were the only one hurt, right?" He asks and you nod.
"Well, what would've happened if you were in an even worse condition than this, or worse, possible killed?!" He shouts angrily.
"Levi-" You try to interject, but he interrupts you before you have the chance to say anything.
"You not only told Eren to transform, but you also faced off against the Female Titan alone!" He continues to shout at you.
"If I didn't do what I did, everyone would've died!" You shouted, leaving Levi speechless.
"I didn't want that to happen! I lost my family once before, and I'm not going to let the people who I view as my new family die!" You continue to shout as tears threaten to fall, but you manage to keep them in.
"I won't have it. Not again. I wouldn't be able to handle it." You say as your voice cracks and tears finally free themselves from you eyes and make their way down your face.
"Sorry, I didn't mean it like that. I was just worried about you.I mean that everyone in this squad has grown quite fond of you, even I have." He mumbles the last part, but you still heard him loud and clear.
You quickly wipe you eyes with the back of your hand.
"I understand what your saying Levi, and I'm sorry for making you worry, I just didn't want anyone else to get hurt. Besides, like I said earlier, although I heal slower than a titan, I still heal faster than a human, just give me about two days,and I should be good as new." You say reassuringly.
"It's fine, just get some rest" He says as he gets up from the chair and starts making his way towards the door, but before he leaves he turns around to say something.
"Oh, and once your healed, you have extra cleaning duties for disobaying orders."
He then leaves, leaving you to absorb his words.
You then shout out a loud "Whaaaaat!"
____________Levi's POV____________
I hear (F/N) shout out as soon as I leave the room, I couldn't help bit let out a soft chuckle at her delayed reaction.
'She is something else.' I think to myself as I leave to finish my paperwork in my office.
"You could've gone easier on her, I mean she did save all of our lives." I hear Gunther say with a slight chuckle.
"Tch, that brat disobayed orders." I say sternly.
It was Eld's turn to give a chuckle, while saying "Come now, just admit you like her already."
I stiffen when he said this.
"Tch, I have no idea what your saying." I denied.
They both smirked as Gunther said " It's pretty obvious that you like her, hell even Auruo sees it." "Like I said before, I have no idea what you're saying." I say, trying to play dumb.
Eld let out a sigh before saying "You're going to have to confess to her pretty soon, I mean really, she won't stay single forever."
They then both leave.
'They do have a point, I mean she is pretty, not to mention she can be cute at times.' I think.
'Fuck, I really am in love with her.' I think to myself as I open my office door.
After finishing my paperwork, I see that its a little past midnight.
'I wonder if that brat got something to eat.' I think as I leave to go check on (F/N).
As I get to the room that she's in, I notice that she is squirming around, as if she is having a nightmare.
I gently touch her forehead, as soon ad I do this, her eyes snap open. She quickly looks around, and her sights are soon set on me.
"Oh, its just you." I hear her say.
"Are you okay?" I asked with the slightest hint of concern in my voice.
"Yeah, I just had a nightmare." I hear her say.
"I see, well I'm leaving, I just wanted to check to see if you got something to eat." I say as I got up to leave, but as soon as I did, (F/N) wrapped her arms around my waist and pulled me down.
I was laying down, with my back facing her.
"H-Hey, what the hell do you think your doing?!" I shout as she brings one of her hands on my chest.
My eyes widen when I noticed that she placed her hand right over where my heart should be.
'She's feeling my heartbeat.' I think to myself, as I also notice that she is shaking like a leaf.
"I'm still alive brat, nothing to worry about." I say calmly.
I feel her nod her head.
"Are you going to let me go?" I ask, and I feel her shake her head 'no' as she tightens her grip on me.
I just give a long sigh as I manage to roll over so that I'm facing her. She buried her head in my chest as she hugs me closer.
'Her nightmare must've been pretty bad if it left her in this state.' I think to myself as I wrap my arms around her small body.
"You owe me one for sleeping here." I mutter, and I feel her trying to bury her head deeper in my chest.
'I wonder what kind of nightmare she had?' I think as I let sleep take over me.
