You were sleeping peacefully, that is until a voice called out to you.
"Hey brat, are going to get up, or are you sleeping the entire day?" The familiar voice of Levi asks.
"Five more minutes." You murmur as you try to bury yourself deeper into the covers.
That was the moment you realised that Levi was in the same room as you, this causes you to shoot up and look around, only to find that Levi is only in his pants.
You can feel your face heating up.
"W-W-Why are you only half dressed!?" You shout, covering your head with the covers.
"Tch, aren't I allowed to get dressed in my room?" He asks.
"What!? W-Why am I in your room!?" You ask.
"Don't you remember what happened last night?" He asks, and memories of the night come flooding back.
"Y-Yeah, I remember, but that doesn't explain why you I'm in your room!" You say.
"Tch, well for one I couldn't let you sleep in that filthy bed, and secondly, you can't be by yourself now." He says.
"Wait, what do you mean that I can't be by myself?" You ask.
"Tch, we don't know if that guy is going to be coming back soon, so in order to be safe, I will be with you 24/7, to keep watch on anything suspicious." Levi says, leaving you to comprehend the situation.
"T-That isn't necessary, I can take care of myself!" You defend.
"Really, then explain to me how this 'Necator' guy managed to sneak into your room?" Levi shoots back.
You couldn't say anything.
"That's what I thought, now shut up and get ready, we're going to be training today, also we have an expedition coming up in a few weeks." Levi says as he puts on his shirt.
"Yes sir." You say defeated.
After getting dressed, you and Levi make your way towards the mess hall. Once there, you grab your food and sit in your usual seat.
"Are you okay (F/N)?" Petra asks as soon as you sit down.
"Yeah, I'm fine." You say smiling at her.
"It doesn't seem that way, you look more tense then usual." Eld says.
"Well, that's because-" you start to say, but Levi interrupts.
"I will be guarding her 24/7." He says in his usual monotonous voice.
"WHAT!?" The all say at once.
"Tch, it was an order from Erwin." He says.
"W-Well I understand that she needs guarding, but 24/7 is a bit much, don't you think?" Eren asks.
"Tch, if this 'Necator' guy can sneak into HQ, without being detected then I think that this is completely necessary." Levi says.
"Well all I have to say is good luck with captain." Gunther says, so that only you could hear.
"Gee, thanks." You say sarcastically.
After everyone was finished eating, everyone was to go to the training fields for hand-to-hand combat.
"So who's going to be my partner?" You ask.
"Hmph, I can take you easy!" Jean states.
"Really, because if I remember correctly, I kicked your ass last time we fought." You say.
"Hahaha, she got you on that one, horseface!" Eren shouts laughing.
"I was caught off guard is all, this time I'll be ready." He defends himself.
"Fine, but I won't be holding back." You say as you get into a fighting position.
"I wasn't expecting you to." Jean says, also getting into a fighting position.
You both circle each other, Jean tries to throw a punch at you,but you see it coming. You catch his wrist, you then bring it behind his back, you then kick the back of his legs, forcing him to the ground, you bring your other arm up and put him in choke-hold.
"You give up?" You ask, and he tries to move, but you just tighten your grip on the choke-hold.
"O-okay, I-I give up!" He manages to say.
You let go of him, while saying "Next time, try and put up a fight."
Jean leaves, and you shout out to everyone else "Okay, who's next?"
The next one to step up was Mikasa.
"Oh, this should be more fun, I mean you were ranked number one, right?" You ask and she nods.
You and Mikasa get into your fighting positions.
Mikasa and you circle each other, you were the one to make the first move. You try and kick her side, but she blocks it. Mikasa then tries to punch your head, but you move to the side. You then take the opportunity to try and sweep her legs out from underneath her, but she barely manages to dodge, this causes her to lose her balance for a split second, but you took the opportunity to kick her in the stomach. This causes her to take a few steps back, while she tried to regain her composure, you sweep her legs out from underneath her. You then quickly pin her down. This leaves you the winner of the small dual.
You get up off of her, you then extend your hand in order to help her up. She takes your hand and you pull her up.
"You're very good, but you need to learn how to fight in any position your in, because by doing this, you wouldn't need to try and regain your composure." You say to her, she nods in understandment.
"Anyone else, who thinks they can take me." You say.
"Eh, why not." Eld states ad he walks up.
"You ready?" You ask as you once again get into a fighting position.
"Heh, ready as I'll ever be." He says as he gets into his fighting position.
Eld and you circle for about two minutes before fighting, Eld then charges at you, you quickly side-step, but he then swings his legs over, trying to kick your side, but you catch his leg. You then take hold of his leg with both hands, causing him to bounce on one leg. You then push him back, this results in him falling over, you let go of his leg and quickly pin him."I win." You say victoriously.
"Yeah, I guess you did." He says as you help him up.
"How about I fight you this time." A familiar monotonous voice says.
"Heh, sure, I still need to get you back for last time." You say.
You and Levi get into a fighting
position. You then circle each other, Levi was the first one to make a move, he tries to kick your stomach, but you dodged. You then try to punch his gut, and he caught your wrist, and brought it behind your back, just like you did with Jean, but you stomped on his foot, causing his grip to faulter, you took this opportunity to break free, you the quickly spun around, delivering a kick to the side. This results in Levi being thrown back onto the ground, he quickly recovers before you have the chance to pin him. He then starts to run at you, but you did something that no one expected.
You started to run away from him, and towards the crowd of spectators.
This causes Levi to chase you, but as soon as you were in front of the crowd, Levi tried to grab the collar of your shirt, but you jumped up, doing a back-flip behind Levi, you took the chance to grab him by the collar of his shirt before he had the chance to turn around, you slammed him to the ground and pinned him down.
You were panting as you said "I win." You then got up off of him. You then helped him up.
"Tch, that wasn't half bad brat, but..." He said, but stopped half was through.
"But what?" You asked, but as soon as the words left your lips, you were on the ground with Levi on top of you, pinning you down.
"But, never let your guard down." He finishes as he get up off of you.
He helps you up, and begins to walk away, but before he does you quickly run up to him and kick his ankles, causing him to land on the ground, you then quickly pin him.
"And like I said before, never turn your back on an enemy." You say as you get up off of him.
You help him back up, smirking at the memory of when you and home first fought each other.
"Tch, damn brat." Levi says as he dusts himself off.
"Wow, you two are quite competitive, aren't you?" Gunther says.
"No, we aren't." You both say simultaneously, this causes everyone to laugh.
"A-Anyway, its time to eat, so let's go." You say as you rush off towards the mess hall.
"Aw, look she's embarrassed, how adorable." Gunther teases.
"I am not embarrassed!" You shout from a distance away, causing everyone to chuckle at your reaction.
