Arc 1. Chapter 1. The end of a Life

Ayanokoji Pov:

My body clock woke me up at 6:30.

"Huh? What kind of dream was that..."

Wait what dream?

Whatever.

I got out of my bed to get ready.

I brushed my teeth and started preparing breakfast.

I decided to take out my phone and try something new.

"Pancakes huh..." I muttered.

I remember Matsuo Making me this in my one year with him, I am still grateful to him for helping me come to this school.

Without him, I could have never been able to get freedom, even just for 3 years.

I snapped out of my thoughts and started making the pancakes.

I have been learning a lot of cooking lately.

A part of it is because I am curious about the different foods, but it is Mostly because Amasawa keeps Coming to my dorm and forcing me to cook for her.

I finish cooking my food and start eating it.

I remember Horikita forcing me to do things using food.

I sighed remembering that.

That man would commit suicide if he heard his masterpiece got tricked with food...

Horikita Pov:

"Achee!" I sneezed.

"Are you sick?" Kushida asked.

"no.." I answered.

"Someone must be remembering you!" She said.

"That's stupid," I told her.

Ayanokoji Pov:

I changed into my Uniform but did not button up my blazer so I didn't look like I was too regulated.

I just want to be seen as ordinary, that's all.

I want to have a peaceful life here, but if someone tries to take my solace away,

I won't hesitate to dispose of them.

"Hachee!" I sneezed.

Was someone thinking about me?

Ayanokoji Pov:

On my way to school, I saw something... peculiar.

"RUN!!"

"THAT THING IS GOING TO KILL US!!"

"IT'S JUST LIKE THAT ANIME!!"

"What is happening?" I thought out loud.

"Ayanokoji-kun run!" Horikita yelled as She ran away as well.

This seems interesting.

I got closer to the thing that had made all the people so terrified.

It was a Dragon, A black dragon that was destroying A bunch of buildings.

It seemed like someone was fighting it. The person had White hair and a purple and white cloak. She looked like a goddess.

I turned back to run away, but I was too late.

"RUN!" shouted the goddess.

The dragon's blast hit me and my consciousness faded.

Hey everyone! this is my first fic, so please have constructive criticism.

Anyway, here are some answers to some questions you may ask.

What is that dragon doing here?

Ans: The dragon was one of the observers of the Cote universe, it went berserk for a reason that will be told later, so it started destroying the world. Its name is Kaida.

Why is Eris here?

Ans:Eris in this fic is also an observer for the Cote universe. She was stopping Kaida from destroying the cote verse so the damage to Kaida was only at building level.

This was a short first chapter, sorry for that.

It is also right at the start of year 2 vol 5 so Kiyotaka hasn't revealed his relationship with Kei yet.
