Arc 1 Chapter 4 Friendship

Ayanokoji Pov:

It has been a month since my reincarnation now.

I have been learning magic for some time now and I have learned Quite a few things.

Magic is more complex than expected.

You can't just simply through random blasts thinking it will work well.

You have to visualize it in your head.

You need imagination for it.

You also need enough Magicules to use magic.

Magicules are the Mana in this world but saying Magicules are just energy we use to cast magic would be wrong.

Magicules are what monsters are almost entirely composed of.

It is a very important Component in the cardinal world.

Getting back to the topic of magic.

There are eight elements of magic in this world.

Earth, space, fire, water, wind, light, darkness and time.

Time is the strongest one among them all.

I am currently perfecting how to use fire magic and then I will start learning the rest.

I can change my element using a subskill of my Skill [Mchivallian].

It is really useful.

This system intrigues me, it feeds my curiosity quite well.

"日本語が読めますか？印象的な Open."

I chanted a spell.

It gave me a bow and arrow made of fire which I shot at my opponent.

"AHHHHH!!!!" It yelled as the arrow busted open and came to a pillar of flames.

I sighed in relief.

"That was tough..." I muttered.

"O-oh hey..." Someone said.

"Who is there?" I replied.

If the person tries to attack me, I will lose. I don't stand a chance.

I have exhausted many of my Magicules using my last attack.

"I- It's me..." It was the blue-haired demon.

Ah. I have not seen her in quite some time.

She was probably avoiding me because of the embarrassment she felt when I used [Mchivallian] on her.

"By the way, you don't have a name do you?" I asked her.

"yeah, I don't?" She answered in confusion.

Since I did use [Mchivallian] on her, I will give her name as an apology.

"Then I will give you one," I told her.

"Huh?!?! wha-" She said something but I interrupted her.

"Since you remind me of a certain person in my previous life, I will name you after her."

"hey... You do know that naming monsters takes away your Magicules right?" She asked me.

"Really? Well, I will give you one anyway. Just consider it a gift." I answered her.

"well don't blame me when you fall into a deep slumber." She told me.

"Alright, then I will name you Haruka."
I declared.

Suddenly, I felt my magic sucked out of me.

The blue-haired demon was covered in bright light as I lost my conciseness.

Haruka Pov:

I told him that this was going to make him go into a deep slumber!

Ugh, now I have to keep him safe.

Huh? Something is coming this way...

"tch. Why are you with this guy?" the red idiot said.

Ugh.... why is he here?

"[Haze!]" I yelled.

A fog came out and made it hard to see for the red idiot.

I Picked up the white demon and flew away.

Many demons tried to attack me, but my new skill, [Mother's barrier] helped me defend against it.

Is this Haruka his mother or something?

Oh well. I won't pry into his previous life. He would probably be sensitive about it.

Suddenly! a very powerful demon started heading towards me.

"Dammit..." I muttered.

This thing could probably defeat me even if I went all out.

I then had an idea.

I flew high up as fast as I could.

The demons following me did the same.

I barely dodged the strong demon and the ones following me hit the strong one.

I took this opportunity to fly away.

I looked back a little and it seemed like the strong one was fighting the weak ones.

The strong one had white hair, probably another one of the white lineage.

I then turned my head back straight and flew away.

Well, I think that is it.

I changed Ayanokoji's lineage from black to white because someone commented that white would fit more and I agreed with them.
