5. Thunderstorm

As soon as Sid stormed out, Vaishu turned her head towards Abhi seeking an explanation. There were a lot of questions winded up in her mind. She knew that there was something wrong about the father of the two brothers, but she never expected t to be this serious. She was well aware of the fact that Abhi hated Sid and blamed him for their mother's death, but the reason shocked her. What even shocked her more that her boyfriend had been blaming his young brother for " Just sitting beside their mother who died in a car accident?" or maybe "A planned attack by their own father?"

The chain of her thoughts was broken by a gentle touch on her shoulder. she turned around to see Avneet standing there with a worried face expression. She had a hint of tears in her eyes. She was also shocked and worried about the brothers.

Vaishu: w-what?

Avu: Di I have been calling you from the pat 2 minutes. *sigh*

Vaishu: Avneet what else am I supposed to do? How can I help these two? Or can I even help them? Is there a way out of this situation? T-there are just too many questions.

Avu: I know di and so is my condition and there is only one person who can answer these questions. *Glancing at Abhishek's exhausted figure*. I don't think he is in a condition to answer our questions, but one thing is for sure he is at the fault here and he will surely have to pay for it.

Vaishu: You are right Avu but what about jai I don't think his condition is any better.

Avu: He has also done a mistake but there is no point of regretting over it now. I am pretty sure reem will Handel him.

Vaishu: Alright let's hope so...*sigh* 

MEANWHILE WITH JAIREEM                   

Reem: Jai- jai at least listen to me. Please tell me what's wrong.

Jai: what's wrong reem? can't you see what's wrong! I have always been bullying Siddharth without knowing anything about him how could I possibly be so stupid. I messed up really badly this time reem.

Reem: Jai... do you think that blaming yourself like this will make things any better?

Jai: I-I *sigh* No- no it won't

Reem: Then please stop shouting at yourself and talk to me maybe I can help.

Jai: No one can help me reem. I didn't know what I was doing back then. I supported Abhi because he was my best friend, and I was so blind in this friendship that I didn't realize that I was hurting that poor soul. I don't even know why I was bullying him. I might have not hurt him physically, but I did give him a mental and emotional trauma. Now that I think of all this, he is so young, he said that Abhi has been treating him like this since he was 7 or 8. Abhi literally took his childhood away from him and actually who am I to blame Abhishek... I was no less either.

Reem: Jai I won't say that it wasn't your fault, but Abhi is also responsible for all this. Now calm down I am sure that we can sort out all of this. 

Jai: Reemie I understand this, but Sid's painful voice is still ringing in my ears, and I am actually concerned about him where would he have gone. I just hope that he is safe.

Avneet, Vaishnavi, Reem and Jai were somewhat calm now, but nobody knew what was going inside Abhishek's mind. All of them were worried about Sid but a sudden sound of thunder added a lot more to their worries. There was a thunderstorm outside. one like they had never seen it was very strong and dangerous and out of all the days it had to come today, when an 18-year-old kid was outside. what's even worse is that nobody knows where he is and in which condition. All they could do is just pray. Pray for his safety and that he would return home soon.
