9. WHERE IS HE?

ABHISHEK'S POV:

I woke up with a pain in my back and in my head. I looked around only to realize that I fell asleep on the floor last night. Speaking of which I suddenly remembered about the events which occurred last night. Siddharth's voice is still ringing in my head, every confrontation he did yesterday was shocking and painful. He stood up against me for the first time in my life. He left the house with an unsorted argument, it is the next morning he must have returned by now and if I go downstairs, I will have to face him. I am honestly confused about ow should I currently feel should I be angry at him, should I forgive him, should I talk to him. Despite all this at the end of the day I have to go down because obviously I cannot just stay in my room, so I might as well do it just now.

As I came downstairs the atmosphere was a lot different than I had imagined it to be. it was even worse.

Vaish was sitting on the Coutch with her face buried in her hands, Avi was sitting beside her with a hand on her shoulder but otherwise she looked lost in her thoughts. Jai and reem were also there I assume they had stayed for the night. Reem was pacing around the room restlessly, Jai sitting on top of the dining table who also looked lost in his thoughts. There was thick tension around the room and even a kid could tell it.

Abhi: Vaish? I asked softly and all of a sudden, all eyes in the room were on me. Vaish promptly looked up and spoke in a distressed tone.

Vaish: Abhi oh my god. She rushed towards me and gave me a tight hug.

Abhi: What happened dear? You seem stressed is everything alright?

Vaish: Abhi Sidd...

And it was then that I noticed that Siddharth was not present in the room.

Vaish: Abh Sid has not came back home yet...

Abhi: What?! what do you mean?

Jai: Bhai, she wants to say that Siddharth has not returned home since he left last night.

Reem: All of us have tried calling his phone but it is not reachable.

Abhi: W-what? Maybe he needed some time to think off all of it. I am sure he will return soon.

Avi: And do you think he has a place to stay anywhere? Avneet angrily stood up.

Avi: He has been gone for the past twelve hours now we do not have any idea of where or how he is and for heaven's sake we have been heck worried about him. So, for once just for ONCE would you actually care about your own brother and start searching for him!! And for your very kind information there was a thunderstorm last night and Sid probably didn't have a shelter. You know locking up yourself in your room to show your regret towards your actions and after regretting for a few moments drifting off to your oh ever so important beauty sleep is fvcking irritating!! Unlike you neither of us slept because we were actually worried, us who have not even done anything! We were in guilt of not doing anything to support Sid earlier and then you come up the next morning acting soooo innocent as if everything happening is not your fault.

Abhishek stood dumbstruck at Avneet's sudden ranting. He has never seen Avneet raise her voice at anyone let alone shout at them. And oh boy nothing can make Abhishek nervous, but he has not yet faced the Warth of an angry and frustrated Avneet.

SOOO EVERYBODY LET'S HOPE FOR ABHISHEK FOR NOT TO DIE BY THE HANDS OF AVNEET. ANDD THAT IS IT FORRRR THIS CHAPTER.
