Orion is up bright and early, cooking breakfast with a rare smile on his face. His chest is packed and ready filled with clothes, books, and other necessities. Today is the day he thought as he flipped a pancake.
Luna wakes up to the smell of pancakes a bright smile on her face as she races down the stairs still in her sleepwear and bed hair. Morning Dad, morning Orion. She says giving her dad a kiss on the cheek and a hug to Orion. Orion places a plate of pancakes in front of her before grabbing himself coffee. "Aren't you too young for Coffee Orion?" Luna asked jokingly. "If I don't have coffee in my system I might just hex everyone I see" Orion says, while Luna laughs and Xenophillus drinks his coffee. "Now Luna have you finished packing we will be leaving soon" Xenophillus says to his daughter. "Yep, I just need help bringing it downstairs" Luna says as she takes a bite out of the pancakes. Xenophillus nodded at his daughter. "And how about you Orion all packed" Xenophillus asked. "Yes, I'm all ready to go, I will just need to put Reggie in his cage before we leave" Orion said as Reggie his cat came in and meowed. Xenophillus nodded and finished his tea before going upstairs to change.
As Luna and Orion wait Xenophillus comes down with Luna's trunks and puts them in the car. As they drive to the station Reggie would not stop meowing, not liking being in a moving vehicle. The train ride is going to be so fun. Orion thought
Orion and Luna now stood in front of the wall of 9 3/4 with Xenophillus right behind them. "Go on just through there" He says encouraging them to run through. Luna grabs Orion's hand dragging him through the wall. "Luna a little warning next time" Orion says as he fixes his clothes. His hands start to shake so he put's them in his pockets. Orion looks around the station in awe. He looked at the tracks to see a big red train, The Hogwarts Express.
"Orion, over here"The voice of Draco was heard yelling at him. Orion looks around a spots Draco and his parents standing there as Draco waves him over. Oiron walks over to them as Xenophillus comes through the wall to Luna.
"Draco, Aunt Narcissa, Lucius" Orion says clear dislike present when saying Lucius's name. "Are you going to sit with us on the train?" Draco asks, Orion shakes his head no. "I'm going to sit with Luna since it's our first year." Orion explains when he sees Draco frown. "I should get going if we are going to find a compartment." Orion says as he waves goodbye at Draco and Narcissa heading towards Luna and Xenophillus.
"Now you two be good. And if you need anything ask your head of house. And Don't forget to write a letter." Xenophillus rambles. "Yes Dad we won't forget to write, See you at Christmas. Love you." Luna says hugging her father as she gets on the train. "I will remind her to write and I will also write. thank you, Xeno." Orion says shaking Xenophillus's hand, following after Luna.
Luna and Orion found a compartment near the back of the train, Luna letting Reggie out against Orion's insistent that he should stay in his cage. Orion was reading a book with Reggie curled up in his lap as Luna was pointing out things she saw outside the window. All of a sudden the compartment door opens, showing another first year with bright red hair. "I'm sorry I was looking for an empty compartment away from my older brothers. I'm Ginny." The girl named Ginny says. "Hi, I'm Luna, and that's Orion and Reggie, you can stay here for your first year right?" Luna says Ginny just nods as Luna pulls her to the seat next to her. Where first year too. Luna says excitedly. "Umm, I hate to ask but which ones Orion and Reggie?" Ginny asks her cheeks the same color as her hair. "I'm Orion." Orion says bringing his hand out to shake Ginny's hand.
After introductions were made Luna and Ginny conversed happily Orion put in his input every now and again as he continued to read his book.
"It's getting close to Hogwarts, I'm going to go change." Orion says getting up and putting Reggie in his cage, the cat meowing angrily at him.
When Orion came out of the changing room he was met with Theodore Nott standing there waiting for someone. That someone was Orion Black. Theo was excited to see Orion on the train, but Draco said he was sitting with Luna Lovegood. Theo was going to go search for him but Pansy kept questioning where he was going every time he tried to get up. So when he saw a glimpse of Orion walking by their compartment he used the excuse of going to the trolly to see him.
"What are you doing Nott?" Orion questioned as he walked towards Theo. Theo smiled and put his arm around Orion. "I came to see how you feeling. It's your first year at Hogwarts are you nervous about the sorting?" Theo questioned. "No, I'm not nervous, more excited than anything." Orion answered as he and Theo started walking. "Do you have any idea what house you're going to be in? Luna and Xeno are saying Slytherin or Ravenclaw. So I'd say one of those two." Orion says. "Well, you are a Black and the Blacks are almost entirely put into Slytherin." Theo says a smile on his face as they come to a stop. "This is my compartment, see you later Nott, and tell Draco I say hi." Orions says going into the compartment. Theo sees Luna and a girl with red hair smiling at Orion as he walks in. Theo already knows that the girl is a Weasley. Theo walks two compartments down till he gets to his compartment. Was he really this close to Orion's compartment? Theo thought before walking in.
"First Yer's First Yer's." Hagrid calls out. Orion, Luna, and Ginny all head into a boat that already has another kid with a camera. "Hi, I'm Colin." The camera kid says. "I'm Ginny, this is Luna, and that's Orion." Ginny introuduces them. As they make it to Hogwarts to be sorted into their Hogwarts House.
