The day of the wedding had finally arrived. I prepared myself for the night, donning a soft lilac dress with intricate lace design. The color was outside my usual palette but it felt necessary for the event tonight. My hair cascaded down my back in bright and vibrant red curls. Draco, on the other hand, wore his signature all black perfectly tailored suit.

Once we were ready, we snuck from the hall of the manor and disapperated to our designated meeting spot with Luna, near the Forbidden Forest. She stood in wait, looking as quirky as ever. Though, she appeared quite beautiful, clear of dirt or paint in her gown.

"Luna, you're early," I noted with a small smile.

She returned the smile warmly. "I wanted to ensure you both had plenty of time to prepare before the wedding. Now, I've brought the Polyjuice potions for you. They should help you blend in seamlessly."

We each took the vials she offered, the contents swirling with magical transformation. The Polyjuice potions were a necessary disguise, allowing us to assume the identities of guests, undetected among the others.

We each held a vial in hand, watching the contents within swirl about. I was filled with excitement, being someone else for just a moment and forgetting about the turmoil and darkness that had defined my life. I had strived for to experience some normalcy, yet, a hint of uncertainty still remained.

Looking at each other, Draco offered a small smirk, raising the vial. "Bottoms up." He said jokingly.

We each rose the opening to our lips, swallowing the potion. Within seconds, I felt my body changing, morphing into someone new. One minute being our usual selves, the next, someone completely unrecognizable.

Luna watched the transformation with amazement.  "You look great, Evelyn," she remarked with a smile.

I looked at myself in the reflection of a nearby stream and saw a girl with jet black hair in my soft lilac dress. Draco, on the other hand, had taken on a rather elegant appearance of a man with a neatly trimmed beard.

"Thank you, Luna," I replied, adjusting to the feeling of my new body. "But who are we supposed to be, exactly?"

Luna's voice was soft and reassuring. "You are Cordelia Blythe, a friend of my father from the Quibbler, and Draco, you are Lysander Mulpepper, another close friend of his."

With our new identities established, we were ready to enter the wedding and maintain our cover, all the while keeping a watchful eye on any developments that could aid the Order in the ongoing struggle against the dark forces that threatened the wizarding world.

As we prepared to enter the wedding, we took on the personas of Cordelia Blythe and Lysander Mulpepper, two random workers at the Quibbler rather than friends of Luna's father.

Luna smiled. "You both make the perfect quirky reporters from the Quibbler. Just remember to be yourselves, and no one will suspect a thing."

Draco adjusted his posture, embodying the character of Lysander, while I embraced the role of Cordelia with a new sense of purpose.

"We'll do our best, Luna," I assured her, suppressing any nervousness.

Once our new identities had taken form, we took hold of Luna as she disapperated us to the wedding. Standing outside under the twilight sky, there was a large white tent with twinkling lights spread throughout. Mismatched chairs placed at tables lined along the sides of the dance floor. Drinks and food being offered, laughter and music filling the air. In the back, a towering home stood tall and whimsical. I'm assuming this  is the Weasley home.

Colorful flowers decorated the tabletops and strings of twinkling lights lined across the tent overhead. The celebration was a much needed break from the war brewing outside, however, it just proved to be a start contrast of the encroaching darkness.
