Today was a pretty bad day today. Natsu was in the guild clearly in a daze. Happy and Carla Were with Levy and Lucy, they had left on a mission and would not return till later that day, Gray and Juvia had also gone on a mission, Erza was currently out buying strawberry cake, No one seemed to notice that Natsu was in a daze. Well, no one but a blue headed dragon slayer.
Wendys Pov:
Wendy: Natsuuuu!
Natsu: Hmm, Oh hey Wendy, you doing good today.
Natsu said with a smile.
Wendys thoughts: He's having to forcing him self to smile.
Wendy: I'm good, but are you doing okay?
Wendy looked at Natsu with worry.
Natsu's Pov:
Natsu's Thoughts: She noticed could tell I was upset, How?!? Oh duh, shes a dragon slayer she can probably tell.
Natsu: I'm just a little upset, today was the day igneel had told me he was proud to be my father, before he left me.
Wendys Thoughts: Natsu.... he probably feels alone, I remember the day Grandina said that to me too.
Wendy: Natsu... I understand how you feel.
Natsu: What?
Natsu stares at Wendy in shock but then he saw a teat rolling down her cheek.
Wendy: Grandina said she was proud of me, And then She left me, I remember crying all day.
Natsu sat there silently looking at the crying dragon slayer, his heart ached as he saw the tears.
Natsu's Thoughts: She's crying, I hate it when I see her cry.
Natsu started to forget the sadness lingering inside his heart, His instincts telling him to make her feel happier, so he did.
Natsu's: Hey Wendy?
Wendy looked up, tears still freshly flowing down her face.
Natsu: Do you want to do a job just the two of us?
Wendy looked at Natsu, her tears stopping In their tracks and a smile adorned her face, As the sadness falls away from her mind as she sees his caring loving eyes. She said with a smile on her face.
Wendy: I would love too.
They both got up and went to the request bored, they found a job request, the request had some writing on it that was faded. The Poster said: WE ARE IN NEED OF TWO MAGES TO INVESTIGATE A DISSAPPEARENCE OF SOME TRADING MATERIALS. REWAD: 200.000 JEWL.
They grabbed the request and told Mira and went on their journey, unbeknownst to them the writing that had faded, was a warning: DO NOT SLOW DOWN AND MAKE IT TO TOWN, AND... BEWARE THE FOREST OF WOLVES.
