BENSON'S POINT OF VIEW

I am in great pain regarding  last night's incidence. As you can see,my men and I are doing our best to find the victim involved in last night's abduction.

This might be though for you all but trust me,we are also going through a lot.

We request for nothing just your cooperation, patience and time. "I Benson Monterey, the reigning mayor of Bernbach will do everything in my power to find Brad Conway,the victim who was abducted last night by human eaters.

The name human eaters triggered a lot of commotion at the conference. The quiet hall transformed into a noisy stadium. There were whispering and murmuring among the press.

[Pause]

The word kept on ringing in Alondra's ears. She repeated it severally dragging Freddie's attention. His facial expression exhibited bewilderment.

Yes you heard me right, Benson continued.

I am sorry for keeping this away from you, my men found evidence which proves that we've been living with human eaters.

We thought they were just kind and generous like us till we started experiencing these odd seizures. Our opinion about them were all wrong. They are here for a reason which we are still figuring out.

This was new, there was tension in the hall. Everyone panicked after Benson's speech.

He left people speechless more or less in fear. This was staid situation and needed to be addressed immediately.

How can there be a human kind who feeds on their fellow human beings... This was ridiculous!

A lot of questions were being thrown at him by the press as his bodyguards prevented them from coming closer.

He was guarded till he got to the parking lot where a black Benz was waiting for him. In know in less time he left shutting the press in the dark.

[Back to Mr. Hayden's office][TV goes off]

"Human eaters"...This was beyond measure.
In high school,they were told by their history teachers that human eaters existed ten million years ago long enough before King George's dynasty.

Where from this human eaters brouhaha?
This was absurd or Benson made it all up?
Well they wouldn't be surprised if he did since he doesn't miss a chance to impress the town portraying to be the hero in before their eyes.

Why wasn't Mr. Hayden saying anything? He has been silent since they got there. What was he thinking? They really don't know him that much yet it doesn't take one a life time to observe that he has an issue with the mayor.

Some say they were the inseparable during their school days while others were saying Benson for betrayed by Mr. Hayden.

People do talk when it comes to matters which doesn't concern them. The man was a kind-hearted soul who doesn't hesitate to assist others.

Whenever the topic was about Benson,he speaks about the guy with so much contentment and aversion. The past surely holds a lot of memories!

After an hour of silence,Mr. Hayden began to say something. He questioned the two asking for their opinion relating to the incidence and Benson's statement.
