Kenora

He's so irritating, infuriating, and nonchalant! Luckily, on the aeroplane, Min and I sat together. The boys sat 2 rows behind us. I know if I sat next to Damian, I would kill him or myself. "You know, you and Damian need to talk about this situation. It will clear the air between you two." Min advised in a hushed tone. He would hate me more if he knew why I did what I did. "For now, let's focus on our business trip and my lovely honeymoon." I lied as there were civilians around, mainly business people, so fitting in won't be hard. We read over fake documents and work, so we wouldn't look suspicious. We got the go-ahead to walk around, and I decided to go to the bathroom.

"Aren't you all dolled up, huh. What plans have you got?" An old creepy man questioned me. "A romantic get-away with my lovely husband and a formal event as soon as we land." I replied with fake excitement. "How about you come here and have a good time with me instead?" He winked. Just then, I felt a pair of strong arms around my waist and a soft kiss on my neck. His touch sent shivers down my spine. His intoxicating cologne filled up my lungs. His warmth near my body made me go crazy. "Is this man bothering you, my love?" He questioned with his husky voice. "I'm not quite sure. Are you bothering me?" I asked in an innocent tone. I just know Damian is giving the best death glare ever seen because he looked like he saw a ghost. "No..." He responded quickly. "Good." He replied and let me go. I reached the bathroom and stared at myself in the mirror. "He's going to be the death of me... I need to get my act together." I told myself. As soon as I got back to my seat, Min seemed pleased. "What's up with you?" I asked. "His love, huh?" She teased. "He was just playing his role as my undercover husband." I whispered to her. It felt weird calling him my husband. "That old man's face says otherwise, but okay..." She continued. I just rolled my eyes at her comment. I put my headphones on and read my book the rest of the flight.

We grabbed our luggage, then got our safe house and car keys from a sleeper agent. "Home sweet home! Kenora and I will share a bedroom!" Min exclaimed. I giggled at her. She hated sharing a room with men, especially after this one mission in Santiago. Let's just say things got dangerous and not in a good way. She literally dodged an actual bullet. An enemy agency tried to get rid of us before we completed the mission. We put our bags in our designated bedrooms and changed out our disguises into black shirts and pants. We then joined the others. "Here's Sahar's file. Read over it. Make sure you do not miss any details. We need to get moving as soon as possible." Min ordered. Sometimes, I forget how serious she can be because she's usually so bubbly. Now, back to the file, I only memorised the important information.

Client information file:
• Sahar Crofton
• 22 years old, born in Cairo, Egypt.
• Only child.
• Her parents died in an explosion when she was 6. (Terrorist attack)
• Taken to an orphanage in the UK.
• Adopted at 7 by John Crofton (died in the military) and Kimberly Crofton (died of old age).
• Straight A student.
• Studied at the University of Cambridge at 17.
• Inventor for Prisco.
• Wanted for trying to stop the production of Lalix.

"Do we have any other important information on Lalix?" Damian questioned. "That's why we're here. To try and find out more information on Lalix by getting Sahar and milking her for information." Min explained. "How do we find her?" Colin asked curiously. "We go undercover as the traffickers who were supposed to take her to Bogotá. Garcia can change the meeting point for the real traffickers, Daison and Kross can get the girl, and Kenora and I will take care of the escape plan." Min replied sternly. "I'm on it." Ivan stated. Min tapped his shoulder as encouragement, and he worked his magic.

Damian and Colin went off to go train and get weapons, while Min and I discussed escape routes and emergency escape routes. We also made suggestions on the vehicle we should use. "I'm done with my part." Ivan called out. We all gathered around him. "The pickup is tonight at midnight. Damian and Colin need to wear all black. When going out to get her, you need to say: 'He needs the girl now.' Then show them this insignia." Ivan instructed. He then displayed the symbol that they needed to show the handlers. He then reached for the fake tattoo of the insignia he printed and placed them on their right forearms. "They won't last long, so make sure the inaction is quick." He stated. "Wow, they're very realistic." I said, amazed. "I know, right?" He replied with a wink.

"Okay, Kenora and I need to get the keys for the van we will be taking. We'll be back in 25 minutes. Then, leave 5 minutes after that and wait at the pickup point." Min explained. "Okay, before you leave, your tattoos function properly, right?" Ivan questioned. We each have tattoos that have nanotechnology, so we can communicate with each other more easily and make tracking us simpler. You only get the tattoo after completing training and proving that you endure the challenges of this line of work. We don't get a specific symbol to avoid compromising the agency. I have a spinal tattoo, and Min also has a spinal tattoo that matches. Ivan has his on the back of his neck, Colin has his on his behind his right ear, and Damian has his on his left wrist. "Yeah, they do. We made sure before we left headquarters." I reassured him. He nodded, and we were off.

We had to walk to the drop-off point. "You know this mission is not going to be easy. We should be very careful and precise about everything we do." Min broke the silence. "That's why we were chosen. We are the 'best dream team' of the agency. We have each other's back. We'll help each other. We'll protect each other." I reassured her. "Yeah, what Kenora said." Ivan chimed in. "Stop eavesdropping, Garcia." Min warned. "Sorry." He chuckled. We walked into a dark alleyway. I know Min had her gun just in case something went wrong. The agent handed us the keys as we walked by. "Make two rights, and it's on the left." She explained. Min nodded. "That was quick." I stated. "We are on our way." Min announced. "We're getting all the gear ready, so we can just up and go and not leave anything needed behind." Colin reported. "Good." Min responded, pleased.

We got to the van. It was a white van that looked like a kidnapper's van. "Well, if this mission goes bad, this is how she'll end up." I joked. Min glared at me and got into the driver's side. "Why can't I drive?" I questioned. "Because you drive like we're in a game. Dollface, if we crash, we die. We do not just go back to the lobby." She answered. "You didn't just..." "State facts? I did." She interrupted. "Damn." Ivan laughed. "Really, Ivan?" I was offended by everyone's words. "She's definitely not wrong." Colin chimed in. I also heard Damian's hushed laugh. "Woooowwww. I see how it is." I replied, acting hurt. "You will be okay." Min tapped my shoulder, and we drove off.

We got back to the safe house, and the men hopped in the van. "Hola, señoras bonitas." (Hey, beautiful ladies) Ivan winked at me. "Hey, tech genius." I responded. "Tech genius? Not 'el amor de mi vida' (the love of my life) or 'the most handsome man in the world'?" He joked. "I like you, but let's not push it." I giggled. "Focus, Garcia." Min interrupted. We all laughed except Damian, who had an irritated facial expression. You know it's bad when he can't hide his irritation. If looks could kill, Ivan would be ash.

"This is the pickup point. Now we just sit and wait for 15 minutes." Min stated, looking at the time on her watch. "Take this." Damian handed me a gun. "If backup is needed, we need you ready." He explained. Our hands brushed as I grabbed the gun. "Covered." I replied, looking into his ocean eyes. Just at that moment, I had a flashback.
"It's you and I, moonlight." Damian held my face to look at him. "Against the world." I finished. "I need you ready." He whispered. "Covered." I confirmed. "That's my girl." He replied, proud.
I snapped back to reality. I then checked how many bullets it had. "I know you do." He replied and sat back down. We saw the headlights of another vehicle behind us. Damian and Colin got out of the van. This is it. I sat ready to jump in if they needed me.
