Chapter 5: At the Training Area

It was terrible news but we, in one accord, hoped to win this battle.

Together we will stand for Kingdom Damgo.

We will protect this Kingdom no matter what happen.

I could see now light to the King's face. As if, his spirit was lifted...

"I will give the other agenda to Heneral Simeon. Go to the Military Base. He's there and he's waiting for you. "

His voice was warmer this time. "It's my honor to meet you. Before you go, first have your dinner here." And he got off to the stage and signaled the servants, who were standing beside the stage, to bring the food out.

A long table came before us and foods were placed, one by one, by the palace servants. There were: juicy roasted chickens; fresh fruits, like grapes, bananas, apples, and mangoes; cows milk; and buko juice.

"Wow! This is what we call meal!!!" Gol energetically reacted, stepping forward, as if he will rush at the table.

Capitan Diego approached us. "Hahaha! Your fine now, I guess," he said to Gol. He's talking about Gol's dizzy experience.

"It's eating time!!!" I exclaimed. We neared to the table and picked foods. The roasted chicken was really juicy. It was kind of sweaty and quite spicy. I paired the chicken with milk. Capitan Diego just picked fruits. And Gol ate everything, hehehe.

"I guess you're a vegetarian" I asked, with my mouth filled with chicken, Capitan Diego.

He answered, "Maybe,,, Hahaha, You know, it's good for your health!!!"

"You must eat a lot, for you to be strong!" Gol mockingly said to me, while holding chickens with his two hands.

"Hahaha, Yeah I really need this, thanks for your concern, hehehe....," I playfully replied. I picked the apple that I put in my pocket and handed it to Gol, and I continued, "Eat this, so that you'll be smart..."

"What?!" he exploded with rage... He pointed the chicken in to my face.

"Hey! That was just a joke pal..." I explained, waving my two hands forward.

"We are not here for that... we must enjoy these foods, you know...hahaha!!" Capitan Diego mediated while tapping our shoulders... And we continued eating.

We headed to the Military Base. It was a three- storey building and it was located in the center of the town, beside the King's palace.. These two places were made by stone, which was built by Mang Carlo and his crew.

In the second floor's training area, a dark brawny six feet man stood waiting for us. His lion- like eyes surveyed each of us and the area was filled by his intense aura. His muscles were solid and his upper body exposed for he just only wore a pair trousers. They said that he don't wear upper garments even when he's in the battle.

He's Heneral Simeon the Commander Heneral of the Land Force. Commander Heneral was the highest title of the Army. And there are only two Henerals: the Commander Heneral of the Land Force, and the Commander Heneral of the Sea/ Marine Force.

Heneral Simeon shouted, "I believe that you are now aware of the reason of why you are here." He stood very still like big narra tree crossing his arms.

He put his closed- hand right into his mouth. "Ahrm...," he cleared his throat and explained:

"Lately we, the Army and the King's council, discussed this matter. We decided to stop the Sea Force in attacking the Giants and summoned them here in the land. We are planning to have shore battle. According to Sea Force, the Giants still moving towards our island, and they (Giants) will take at least one month and fifteen days to reach our island.
