"I don't see why you had to take me with you." Nicky looked up from his passenger seat.

"I thought you liked the museum?" Grace asked, driving at the wheel. She was thankful for finally getting her driver's license so she was able to do this without asking her dad, Larry, for a ride.

"I do. But this isn't for fun." Nicky looked out the window of his big sister's car, "You want to go to the museum just to ask them a few questions."

"Hey, you can play with Rexy if you want, but I just need info from..." Grace flashed her research paper in front of her so she didn't have to take her eyes from the road, "Teddy, Jed, Octavius, and maybe Ahk."

"You have ONE research paper based on three different historical timelines?" Nicky asked with exaggeration.

"No, my professor didn't assign them to me. He said we can choose. I thought this way, it'd be easier for me since we can just go and ask around the museum. Not to mention, I get extra credit for researching more then one historical document." Her eyes only darted towards her little brother for a second before making a right turn.

"And some say you're terrible at History." Nicky joked with a toothy grin.

She gave him a playful frown. "Alright, haha, very funny. Now smarten up...we're here."

Grace drove around the back of the Museum of Natural History and parked where she might've saw her dad's car. They park in the delivery area and hop out of the car, tightening their jackets around themselves in the cold, winter air.

"Dad?" Grace called out once they entered the quiet museum. It wasn't sundown quite yet and they needed to set down their coats and stuff before the real fun began.

"Hey!" Larry waved them over once he tied Rexy's bone to Jed and Oct's toy car. He stood up and hugged both his kids, "What are you guys doing here?"

"I got a research project coming up," Grace smiled, "I thought some museum friends of mine could help me."

Larry nodded and patted Nicky's back, "Hey, Nicky." He handed him his keys. "Can you make sure the lions are locked up before the sun goes down? Make sure you take Dexter out first."

"Kay, Dad." Nicky ran off to do his temporary night guard job.

About a few minutes after Nicky came back with a stuffed monkey in his hand, the light outside dims and the sunlight vanished from the museum's windows. The monkey, Dexter, came to life in Nicky's arms and gave him a big wet kiss before hopping off. Grace felt something breathe on her hair and she looked up, smiling.

"Hiya, Rexy!"

The skeleton of a T-Rex began to wag his long, bony tail, panting like a playful puppy as Grace scratched the brim of his nostril. She giggled, "And you're the reason I'm not scared of Jurassic Park anymore."

"Grace! Teddy's up!"

Grace kisses Rexy's nose before heading towards Teddy Roosevelt's podium. "Hey, Ted!"

"My, what a surprise. How are you, Ms. Grace?" Teddy smiled down at her from his perch on his horse.

"I'm great. Hey, um, I have a huge history project and I was wondering if you could help me with it. You know? Tell me important dates and stories from your history."

"I see." He dismounted his horse to reach Grace's height. "What would you like to know first?"

"Um...how about the two years you disappeared in the year 1884?" She asked as she and the Manhattan president walked through the museum halls, his hands respectively behind his back. "Where'd you go?"
