Jax swung in his hammock, throwing a ball up in the air, quickly catching it before it could smack him in the face. He hummed to himself quietly, so far today had been relatively chill, Caine leaving them to themselves, no stupid adventures. Suddenly Jax stopped throwing the ball, he thought he had heard something. Soft knocks could be heard on the anthropomorphic rabbit's door, his face churned into a mixture of confusion and curiosity. He got up out of his hammock and walked to the door, gently, he swung it open. There stood a distraught Pomni "H-hey Jax.." she said. Jax looked down at her confused "Hey? What's up?" Pomni stood there awkwardly for a moment, she didn't know how to ask for what she wanted. Suddenly she held out her hand wanting him to take it "I want you to follow me.." Jax, who was not one for touch, begrudgingly took her hand and let her lead him. Pomni started chewing the top inside of her lip, she was anxious, well obviously. Soon they reached her room, it was brightly colored, with jester themed posters on the wall, a bed that resemble a circus tent, and more. She then led him to a small part of her room, where a table with small plastic chairs were, in the chairs were stuffed animals. However, two of the chairs lie empty, Jax looked confused "Uhm.. this is cool and all, but what did you need me for?" He asked. Pomni looked down "W-well I was wondering if you, Uhm.. wanted to join me and my stuffies for a tea party..?" Jax looked at the table, then pomni, and then the table again. "Uhm.. yeah sure.." he let go of her hand and sat in one of the small, child sized chair, his legs having to scrunch up to his chest. Pomni sat in the chair across from him happily, poring non existent tea into a plastic cup and passing it over to Jax. He happily took the cup and raised it up to his mouth, taking a 'sip'. Pomni did the same, joy overcoming her body, she began to flap her hands aggressively. Jax gave a little chuckle and reached over gently patting her head. The two sat there chatting enjoying some 'tea', most of the talking comments from Pomni. After a few minutes a knock came from the door. Pomni looked over as Jax stood up, "don't worry, I got it." He said walking over to the door. He opened it and there stood Ragatha. "Oh! Hello Jax, where is-" the sound of running was heard before a loud "MAMA!!" was said "Oh! There's my little goofball!" Ragatha said seeing pomni behind Jax "Yeah she's- wait- Momma?" Ragatha picked up pomni putting her on her hip, pomni instantly snuggling into her shoulder. "Ah- I'm gonna guess she hasn't told you? Pomni you little stinker!" Pomni giggled quietly while Ragatha tickled her gently "But yeah, I'll explain, could you let me in?" Jax nodded stepping out of the way of the door. Ragatha entered the room looking over at the tea party table "Ah- I see!" She said before shaking her head. "Anyway- the explanation" Jax shut the door and walked over to the two. "Basically, Pomni is a age regressor which-" Jax cur her off "A what-?" Ragatha huffed in a bit of annoyance "let me finish before you ask questions" she said. "A age regressor, someone who mentally regresses to a younger state of mind, such as a child. The age range could vary, from being as simple of a teenager state of mind to infancy! Most age regressors have what is called a caregiver, who takes care of the regressor. Meaning they could act like a mom, dad, big sibling- really anyone who can take care of someone." Jax listened, slowly letting this soak in "Ah- so you're like her mom?" He asked. "Mhm! Basically" she said bouncing pomni a bit to settle the now fussy child. "I kinda get it, but why did she come to me and not you? If you're her mom?" Jax asked putting a hand on his hip. "I honestly don't know? She must trust you" Ragatha answered, struggling to hold pomni still. Jax looked at pomni and smiled before gently taking her out of Ragatha's hands "come here stinker" he said raising her up in the air. Ragatha looked panicked as pomni laughed loudly, putting her arms and legs out as if she was flying "c-careful!!" Jax looked at Ragatha laughing "whattt? She's enjoying herself!" Jax said, he then threw her up into the air and caught her again "JAX!!!"
