Jax rubbed his head looking around his room. The place was trashed, he hadn't really been taking care of himself as of recently, it had become such a hassle doing the smallest of tasks. Even getting out of his room was hard, and it got harder everyday. He groaned and rubbed the space between his eyes, a headache forming now. He got up out of his hammock trying to avoid the stuff all over his floors. The tall rabbit walked over to his dresser and pulled out a sweater, the sweater was a mossy green with white flowers on it, it was also very soft. He pulled the jumper over his head, his ears popping out of the head hole. Once he got it on he smoothed it out and looked for a matching pair of pants, he quickly found what he was searching for. A pair of brown sweatpants. He quickly put the pants on and walked over to another part of his room, grabbing some deodorant and putting it on. He felt a bit more content and comfortable knowing that he at least looked a bit better and didn't stink. He went over to his hammock again, going to lay back down, but a knock could be heard at the door. His ears perked up at the noise as he turned his head to look at the door "uhm-! Just a minute!" He yelled. Quickly he pushed all dirty clothes into his closet, shoving some of his trash under his dresser as well. He walked too the door and cracked it open enough for him to be able to see who was there. There stood Ragatha, she smiled looking up at Jax "Hey Jax! I was thinking and, we haven't hung out in a while so I was wondering if you wanted to-" Jax shook his head "right now isn't the best time" he responded. Ragatha frowned and put a hand on her hip "Jax, you've been in there for like 3 days and I barely have seen you leave! You're either going to let me in, or I'm coming in. Either way I'm coming in, so let's just make this easier for both of us!" Jax frowned keeping the door cracked "Look- Ragatha- I'm really not-" Ragatha then gently began pushing on the door "You never use my name! Now I know something is going on! Let me in Jax!" Jax didn't move still keeping the door closed. Ragatha pushed with all her might, she wasn't planning on giving up. After a bit of pushing Ragatha stopped at the sound of... Crying? She looked up and saw Jax, a few tears running down his face. The rabbit fell to his knees allowing the door to be pushed open more. Ragatha was quick to comfort him, gently taking his face into her hands "hey hey hey! What's wrong? You never cry? Tell me what's going on honey" she said gently as Jax put his hands onto hers. He nuzzled his face into her hands feeling her soft doll hands "I- I don't know.." he said looking down on shame. Ragatha looked around before signing "how about we go into your room all the way, I know you hate others seeing you cry." She suggested as he nodded. He got up and walked further into his room allowing Ragatha to follow. She shut the door and then turned looking at the messy room "oh...ohh, Jax, it's ok. Why don't we sit down and we can talk this out?" She said sitting on the floor since there really wasn't anywhere else to sit. He walked to her and sat next to her, his chin resting on his knees. Ragatha sat there in silence for a moment before reaching up and caressing his face "Now, tell me what's going on so I can help" she said in a soft tone. Jax looked at her and tears built up in his eyes "I- I just-" he began to sob quietly, Ragatha stood up since she was shorter than Jax. She then gave him a hug, letting his head rest on her shoulder "Jax, darling, take some deep breaths with me ok? On for 4 hold for 4 and out for 4. Are you ready?" She asked as he nodded, the two took a deep inhale and held it before letting it out. Jax was quick to calm down after doing this a few times "sorry.." he apologized "there's no need to apologize to me, now can you tell me what's going on?" She said pulling away, putting her hands on his shoulders "Well.. I've just been so stressed out and with pomni being here you've been so busy and I didn't want to bother anyone. So I thought I could handle it on my own! But I can't.." Ragatha signed and shook her head pulling him close "oh Jax, you know I have enough time for both of you!" Jax hugged her and nodded "and..there's one more thing.." he said "mhm? And what's that?" She asked, gently rubbing his back. "I..." He took a deep breath, he didn't like saying this out loud, it was embarrassing. "I feel little... Kinda like.. a child? Right now I feel 6-7 but I wanna feel smaller.." Ragatha takes a moment to process this information but she smiles "And that's ok, do you want some help feeling smaller?" Jax looked a bit surprised "wait- you're not surprised?" Ragatha giggled and shook her head "Not really! I've seen you and the joy you get when you see toy cars! So I'm not bothered by this at all!" She said as Jax looked away a bit embarrassed "o-oh.." he giggled a bit and shook his head. Ragatha (who is a strong a$$ b*tch in my opinion) picked up Jax, catching him by surprise. He held onto her tightly not wanting to fall. She laughed a bit and made sure he was secure on her hip before walking to his hammock. There in it, lied a abandoned paci, it's center had a race car on it, on the handle it read 'vroom vroom'. Ragatha wiped it off on her dress before looking over at Jax, who's head was resting on her shoulder, she put the pacifier up to his mouth and he happily took it. She smiled and walked over to his dresser looking for more stuff that he had. Down deep in one of his drawers she pulled out some toy race cars.
For the rest of the day Ragatha played cars with Jax. Later that night she tucked him into bed and read him a story.
It turned out to be a great day after all ^^
