"Pampata!!! Pampata!!! Where are you?" Queen Mkabayi called out to her assistant.

"You called your majesty?" She replied as she curtsied to her Queen.

"Yes, I did. Have you seen my daughter?" She asked.

"Which one your majesty?" Pampata asked.

"Princess Ntombazi." The Queen answered.

"I saw Her Royal Highness earlier, she was in her apartment, doing her daily workout." She said.

"I see. Thank you Pampata." The Queen replied.

"You're welcome, Ma'am" Pampata replied as she curtsied to her.

Queen Mkabayi went in search of her daughter. She had been informed that the King was hosting a state banquet for the Sultan of Oman and there would be a host of eligible bachelors there, and she wanted Ntombazi to choose one of these men, settle down and produce heirs. She was worried that as the future ruler, there would not be anyone to pass the throne to.

Meanwhile.....
Princess Ntombazi was in her apartment working out. It was important for to remain healthy and to stay in top physical condition.

As she was walking on the treadmill, enjoying her R&B playing in the background, she heard a knock at her door....

"Elaine? Can you answer the door?" She called out to her private maid.

"Yes, Your Royal Highness." She said, as she went to the door...

When Elaine opened the door, it was Queen Mkabayi....

"Good morning Elaine. Is Her Royal Highness awake?" She asked.

"Good morning Your Majesty. And yes, she's exercising on the treadmill." Elaine said curtsying to the Queen.

"I see." She sniffed.

"One moment ma'am. I shall announce you." She said.

Elaine went into Ntombazi's exercise room where she was still running and the music was still playing....

"Her Majesty The Queen, Your Royal Highness." Elaine announced to Ntombazi.

"Good morning, mother." She said as she got off of the treadmill and curtsied to her.

"Exercising again, I see. I really wish you wouldn't train so much, you're a future monarch, you're not training to become a professional wrestler." She said.

"Mother, you know I love to do this. What's the big deal. And besides, it's a great way to relieve stress." Ntombazi argued.

"I just think that you should becoming more focused on your role as the Heiress Presumptive." The Queen said.

"You know it's times like this that I wish that Senzagakona was the heir to the throne and not me." She said shaking her head.

"Ntombazi!! How could you say such a dreadful thing?" She asked.

"Because it's true. Senzagakona is a natural born leader. I mean let's face it, the only reason I'm the heir to the throne and not him, is because I'm the eldest, that's it and that's all." She explained.

"It's your birth right. I need you to get more serious about your status and settle down and produce heirs so that our royal bloodline can continue. Which is the main reason I came to see you." The Queen urged as she sat down.

"Why? What's going on?" Ntombazi asked curious.

"Your father is hosting the Sultan of Oman for a state banquet in two months and there will be a wide variety of eligible suitors there and I want you to meet some of them. Hopefully, one of them will be to your liking and our approval and we can announce a Royal engagement and subsequent wedding!" The Queen said.

"Ok fine. But I need a vacation." Ntombazi sighed.

"Vacation? Vacation where?" The Queen asked.

"I'm thinking of going to the United States for a few weeks." She said.

"But why? Is it the palace spacious enough for you to feel like you're on a vacation?" The Queen asked.

"Mother, I really need to get away and clear my head. I promise if you'll give me this time for vacation, I'll be able to focus on my royal duties and responsibilities." She stated.

"Well... I suppose so. But you'll need to take your security detail with you." The Queen said.

"Thank you mother!" She said kissing her on the cheek.

"If this will allow you to refocus on royal duties, then I see no harm." The Queen said.

"It will! It will!" Ntombazi said with a smile.

Little did she know how a vacation in the U.S would change her life in a major way. Little did she know that she will have an important decision to make...her future throne or falling in love with an ordinary man.
