Nora finished putting on a fresh coat of lip gloss. Moving her lips around, she puckered them up, watching as the light reflected on them. Satisfied, she placed the cap back on the lip gloss.
Nora looked up and stared at her reflection in the mirror.
Before her, sat a woman who was about ready to walk down the aisle, to the one she had feelings for since she was a young child. Since the first experiences of the fleeting feelings of love, and who in turn, slowly returned those feelings to her.
Nora felt the emotion of love well up in her, threatening to take over her eyes. She tried not to rub the already applied eyeshadow, which she went with natural and winged tip eyeliner and a slight blush was already applied to her cheeks.
She dabbed a small tissue at the corner of her eye. Taking a deep sigh, she squared her shoulders back.
Nora knew that Ren loved her. His actions showed how much he cared for her, such as when he made dinner most nights, when he brought her little gifts, and especially when he stopped what he was doing to listen to her talk about anything and everything.
All those moments led to the feelings of love inside of her chest, and filled her mind with excitement, to spend the rest of her life with the one she loved.
The past year of planning throughout the long, hot summer days, the cooling autumn afternoons, and chilly winter nights, all led up to this moment. Nora felt at ease with her wedding planning, setting aside days to shop by herself or with Ren at her side. Nora could not wait to see what her dreams and schemes had turned into the wedding she dreamed for the two of them.
Nora touched the faint scars along her shoulders. She was tempted to purchase a gown to cover her shoulders and arms. Yet, with the gentle encouragement from her bridesmaids, Ruby Rose and Elm Ederne, Nora gained her confidence to purchase a lovely off the shoulder dress.
"Hey Nora, are you ready to put on the dress?" Ruby asked.
Elm looked up from fluffing up the skirt's bottom. She turned around and took a delicate crown from out of a box. She approached Nora, crown in hand, "It's almost time for a queen to meet her king."
Nora smiled up at her two friends. She took the crown and looked it over, watching it sparkle in the early afternoon light.
"And live happily ever after. Just like she dreamed."

A pleasant spring wind followed the guests along the cobblestone path. The tall shrubs lined up the path that led to the right side of the venue, which was the ceremony area. The benches were lined with pink and white flowers and vines were in the center. Standing at the end, was the wedding arch, decorated with large pink and white roses, surrounded in more greenery, with two white drapes at the sides, tied with pink bouquets at the center. A large pond was on the left side, where the sun reflected onto the small waves.
The wedding guests were quietly murmuring with one another until a piano tune began to play.
Lie Ren, wearing a white shawl lapel coat with dark green collar, with a white shirt underneath, matching dark green bow tie and vest with gold buttons, and black pants and shoes, started walking down the aisle.
Behind him, Jaune Arc and Oscar Pines accompanied him, wearing similar outfits.
As the three took their places at the wedding arch, Jaune leaned over to Ren.
"I think I was right about Flower Power, huh? There are enough flowers here to fill a new flower boutique!" Jaune joked.
Ren smiled a bit, then straightened up. Clasping his hands in front of him, he stared down the aisle, as the clock tower chimed twice.
