Scary (Ace and Levi FTE)

A/N This is kind of a continuation of the last chapter, just that it's all in Levi's POV. Since I already made a scenario where they hang out, I figured I'd just make use of it. I got a request for an Ace and Levi FTE, and I couldn't resist.

 Levi was sitting in his room, on his bed with his phone in his hand and the screen showing the group chat. The prank battle should've started around five minutes ago, but he didn't particularly feel like getting involved with all of that right now. Whit's ideas had the tendency to make everyone a whole lot more annoyed, and that usually led to Eden, Hu, Levi, and occasionally a few of the others having to keep their other classmates from ripping each other to shreds.

Levi sighed. To think that a mere ten minutes ago he'd thought today would be--

Levi's screen suddenly showed three little dots, indicating someone was typing and therefore out of the game already. Levi checked who was online, and saw it was a certain clumsy jockey who had probably already fallen into a trap. He couldn't help the small smile that appeared on his face as he asked what had happened.

Sure enough, Ace had been pranked...By himself. For a moment, Levi wondered if he should tell Ace that this technically didn't count and he was still in the game (As Whit had explained less than fifteen minutes ago, but Ace evidently hadn't been paying attention). He quickly dismissed the idea, however, realizing that Ace would probably get out soon anyway.

The reason for this was that Arei had quickly taken a liking to teasing Ace, since he was so easy to get a reaction out of, and this teasing had quickly spilled over into her pranks as well. So as soon as she got the chance, Ace would most likely become her target. And then Ace would be, undoubtedly, more upset.

So instead, he didn't bring up the fact Ace wasn't out of the game and instead focused his efforts on convincing Ace that being in the game wouldn't have been a good thing anyway. He half-expected the conversation to end there and for Ace to just go to his own room, but instead Ace asked to come over to Levi's dormitory. Well, technically he asked if Levi wanted him to come over, since he was too stubborn to actually admit that he was the one who wanted to hang out, not Levi.

Levi might have declined, or at least very reluctantly agreed, if it had been any other classmate. But Ace was surprisingly easy to subdue and seemed to be in a relatively good mood. So accepting Ace's company instead of sitting alone in his room all afternoon seemed like the best decision to make.

Still smiling amusedly, Levi put his phone in his pocket. He got up from bed to go clean his room in order to prepare for company...Only to remember he had very few belongings in the room and there really wasn't anything to clean up.

So instead, he sat back down and waited, not having much else to do until Ace got there. After a few minutes, during which he realized his nail polish was chipping and that he'd need to reapply soon, he heard Ace knock on the door. Many, many, times. Honestly, Levi wasn't sure how he managed to knock in such rapid succession. Then again, he also hadn't been sure how Ace had kept pressing the elevator button in such rapid succession last week, so maybe that was just a talent of his.

Levi got up to open the door and opened it ever so slightly, just in case it wasn't Ace but instead another fellow classmate attempting to prank him. But it was just Ace, who looked up at him expectantly.

"Uh, you gonna let me inside, or...?" Ace asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Ah! Yes, I apologize. I wasn't sure if you were someone who believed I was still in the game and were trying to prank me" Levi opened the door the rest of the way and Ace walked inside. Levi noticed he had a light but noticeable dusting of flour in his hair and on his boots, but thought it best not to mention that.
