" This is the best school ever!" Jeremiah is a 2nd-grade American eagle, said. " I'm glad you like it. You'll be earning your wings as an Aerial Searching Cadet. Do you have your luggage?" A tall thin guy who looked like he was in his 30s in a dark brown beard, said. " Hi. I'm Jeremiah Ascari. I'm 7 years old and I really wanna help people, and yes I do." Jeremiah said. " While everyone starts arriving, you can explore the place or you could unpack. It's your headquarters now, oh, by the way, my name's Bella." A sweet girl who has red, strawberry-scented, lipstick, said. She pointed to the man in the expensive-looking suit. " That nice man's name is Samir. He's my best friend from elementary school. We're your instructors." Bella said. " I'm Veronica. I'm 9 years old and I'm an underwater beast. I'm also a fish. Nice to meet you." Veronica said. Jeremiah shook her gills. " Ooh, you must be that speedy eagle everyone's been talking about," Veronica said." Yep. The name's Jeremiah and I'm fast." Jeremiah said. " You're here because you have very special abilities that are used for being the best common helpers you can be," Bella said. " What are those tunnels for?" Veronica asked. " They're the way down to the garage area. Oh, I have to show you guys a few things later. They're in your rooms." Bella said. " OK. Let's go." Veronica said. Lights automatically turned on and 4 different vehicles stood under the beam of light. " These are your Level 1 vehicles," Samir said. " Are those watches for... us?" Jeremiah asked.
" Yes. They can tell time, chat with the team, and bring your vehicles with some help from advanced GPS systems. They also store badges. It's pretty impressive and if I need to mention high tech." Bella said. " Thanks. I can't wait to earn some badges." Jeremiah said. " The first vehicle is the Flasher. It looks like an eagle. It has claws and a bunch of buttons. It's the fastest thing in the air. The Road Racer is the fastest race car on the entire island. It's really fast and it has gripped wheels, which are perfect for the mud, sand, snow, and rocks." Bella said. " The Sea Splasher has a turbo button and it can go 60,000 feet towards the deep sea. It has grabbers and a mini-submarine. Another vehicle is the Dolphin Diver. It's super fast over the sea." Bella said. " Cool. I love my Flasher.  I wanna see the beach. Anybody else wanna take a break and go to the Tree Stump? They have a special sale on Honey Butter Bars and some milk." Jeremiah asked. " Sure. Let's go before the crowd beats us to it."  said. At the yellow lemonade stand, an S-shaped line is forced in front of the Tree Stump. " Hi. What can I get for you?" Salina, one of the employees who wore a yellow star shirt, said. " I'll have a tray of Honey Butter Bars and a couple of strawberry lemonades," Veronica said. " Coming right up," Salina said. Whirring, blending, and a spreading knife were heard in the background amongst the loud, some angry chatting over current events and what time order should've been ready. " So. How's training going so far? Any badges?" Salina asked. " It's not bad. The teachers are supportive and they make learning fun, but no badges yet." Sadie, a water-loving whale, said. " Love the Ocean Rider. It stays on the surface of the water, right?" Salina asked. " Yeah. It's a swimming sensation. " I'm riding a red BMX bike with turbo thrusters," Rylan said he's a smart 12-year-old boy who wears a green shirt with a black X in the middle. " Cool. Can we try out our rides on the ground?" Rylan asked once they got back to headquarters. " Sorry guys, it's getting late and you guys should head to bed," Bella said. " Tomorrow, we can work on Independent Badges, so get some sleep. Plus, next month is a really important test for your new level of training." Samir said. The next day, after breakfast, the cadets are looking for someone to rescue when suddenly a scream is heard across the Far Away canyon. " Who was that?" Sadie asked. " I think it was Alicia. She needs help. Let's go!" Rylan said, pressing the multicolored switch button on his watch. " Let's go, Sea Splasher," Veronica said. " Guys. What are you doing?" Bella asked. " We're rescuing Alicia, but it's too foggy for me to fly out. What should I do?" Jeremiah asked. " Turn on your headlights on. The rest of the group will follow you." Bella said. After each kid was rescued, they were reconvened and they watched their house fall from the cliff. " Where are we gonna live now?" Asla, the mother, said. " Hmm. Maybe we should try one of the nearest beaches. They have nice houses away from the water but not too far." Jeremiah said. " We found a cabin that's far away from the cliff and this house is much bigger than the one you have," Rylan said. " Cool. Take us there, please. We're sure gonna miss this old house. We had so many good memories in there like weekend breakfast hunts and dance parties." Asla said. " Oh yeah. Don't forget swimming lessons at that old pool. The kids had so much fun in there." David, the fun-loving dad, said. " Those nights when we'd all be cuddling together in bed.... they were the sweetest, most touching nights of our lives as parents." Mom said. " You guys can still have those nights... away from flooding and other water-related disasters. This island should have signs near pools and beaches to warn people." Veronica said. " We could make those signs and put them at the community swimming pools. Let's get crafty, guys." Jeremiah said. " Bye! See you later." Rylan said. After 2 hours of paint, worn-down colored pencil tips, and lots of concentration, the cadets smiled at the citizens swimming safely... all thanks to 20 posters being put at 20 community pools and beaches. " Nice job, cadets. People all around the island are swimming safely and they have things that remind them to stay safe during floods." Samir said. " Of course Inspector Samir. We're just glad that we could all be a part of the solution, instead of being part of the problem." Rylan said. " What about my wheelchair? Is my ride
