" Today's a special day for the Academy," Samir said. " How? It's Monday. Nothing's happened so far. It's gonna be a boring day." Jeremiah said. " Well, a very important inspector is gonna be testing you cadets on what you've learned and are to learn at the academy," Bella says. " She's also gonna make sure that we're up to the challenge of teaching you everything you need to know and the skills you must have to graduate this level of training and move on in this program," Bella said, showing a picture of a serious-looking woman with a vest full of badges.
" Wow. She looks kinda scary, but she makes me wanna train hard," Veronica said, admiring her badges. " She's s-s-scary-looking but she sounds like an important lady," Jeremiah said.
" She's the reason that we have the job to teach you guys. If you don't pass, then she'll think that we weren't teaching you guys a lot. It'll be back to the training academy for the both of us." Bella said. " Wow. We don't wanna lose you guys. You've been so patient and you sacrificed your days off to give us extra coaching. We've never had anything like that. I'm nervous about this new inspector. How tough is she gonna be on us? I can't imagine it." Veronica said. A plane whirred over the headquarters and landed in the valley near the headquarters. " Captain Tooth requesting permission to arrive at Top Flight Academy." Captain Tooth, the serious-looking woman with a vest full of badges, said. " U-um, permission granted, but I haven't had any time to prepare the cadets yet," Samir said. Captain Tooth landed her plane and approached the cadets, doing her signature stare that made the cadets feel insecure about themselves. " You're cadets seem to be well trained and you have the fundamentals of being an amazing rescuer. These teachers are extremely strict and supportive. They teach you, cadets, cadets very well while not doing skills that are above or below your level but they're not letting your hard work go to waste from your previous successes and they encourage you to embrace and overcome your losses." Captain Tooth said. " These cadets are good, but unexpected challenges will arise and they need to be able to do certain skills on the fly, meaning without constant criticism or back-to-basics classes, which are a thing, but they're embarrassing when you're an instructor so you need to sharpen your skills, but you're improving so much, and we're proud of every one of you," Bella said. " They just need more time to train during those training obstacle course real-life simulations. The practice simulations are used with virtual reality goggles to create an environment where everything is realistic but it's fake. Keep that in mind." Samir said. " Sounds fun. I'm in." Mindy said. " Me too. We're all in it to win it. Let's do this!" Rylan says. " This is the most impressive class I've seen in a while, but they need to learn more like precise flying, map reading, and trick flying, but they're a good team that supports and shows up for each other. They love spending time and helping each other the tough skills." Captain Tooth says. " Do the teachers need to go back to teaching school?" Jeremiah asked. " Well... I don't think they should because both of them are excellent and they have unique teaching styles that balance lessons, fun, and function while being strict and engaging. I don't wanna lose them as teachers. They have all of the fundamentals of a teacher and I don't want to see them getting replaced by new people who don't know how to teach and how to train a team." Captain Tooth said. " Hooray! The cadets are back and stronger than ever, baby!" Veronica said. " Looks like this is the perfect time for ice cream or smoothies. Anyone else hungry?" Jeremiah asked. " Sure. I could eat. I didn't eat that much breakfast because I was so tired." Mindy said. She was always hungry because she ate too fast. " I wonder if Captain Tooth is ever gonna come back to the Academy to test us again." Jeremiah said. " I'll be ready for her. She was strict but I could see a little smile which probably meant that she was proud of us and our teachers." Mindy said. " I think she was really impressed by our unique teaching and how well you guys learn new skills." Bella said. " We're extremely proud of you, cadets. You should be proud of yourselves, too. I'm so grateful for you guys and I can't wait to see what the future holds for this school." Jeremy said.
