*Rose's POV*
I always thought my future was predetermined for me. That I had no say in what went on around me. I was always scared to speak up because I thought if I did something bad would happen.
Bad things happen if you don't speak up.
I've learned that now.
*Morgan's POV*
"Yeah alright. Give me a call later. Uh huh. Bye" I clicked END on the call button and sat down with my head in my hands. The night summer breeze blew my curtains away from the window and that's when I saw it. Well not it but him. Scaling my house. What in the what?
"Ni-Niall?" I trotted over and he looked up, embaressed to be caught. That's when I noticed the red on his face. Obviously from crying.
"Hey what's wrong." I grabbed his hand and pulled him in through the window.
"Did you know about Rose?"
"Her leaving?"
"Yeah"
"Well of coarse I did I help her find a new location each time."
"God damn it. Where is she?" His eyes flashed with anger and I saw the hint of a bruise on his left cheek.
"What happened to your face?" I quizzed him.
"Doesn't matter tell me where she is!"
"Why does it even matter?" I sounded more mean than I meant to. I just got really emotional when Rose left and never felt like talking about this.
"Just tell me where she is." His voice rumbled and his accent was growing thicker.
"N-no!" I almost shouted back. "She needs time to run and not be found. You can't just go after her. You barely know her. I don't go after her each time. We give them time to settle down so they can run and hide. That's how this goes."
"I just need to talk to her."
"I think you have other fans that would be happy to talk to you too."
"You know I don't even know why I came here in the first place." His voice rattled my room. With that he was gone.
*Roses POV*
"Stop it! Stop!" I giggled curling into a tight ball.
"Fine, fine." Adam put his hands up in surrenderment. I stuck my tongue out at him and he just laughed at me. I slightly crinkled my nose before diving back into the chips.
"So back to studying." He fake pouted but I shoved a book towards him.
"I need to do well on this test and your parents said that if you get a good grade you can get your car back. Which means I finally have my ride back." I huffed at him munching some cookies out as well as the chips.
"Yeah whatever." He faked anger.
This was our thing. One day after school we would act all flirty and stuff and the next day he would act as if nothing had happened. He was a strange fellow. But everytime he left all I wanted to do was to run up to him and coil my fingers around his and just leave with him. But that couldn't happen.
We were better off as "friends." I scoffed at the thought.
"What's wrong?" He questioned his blue eyes boring right into mine.
"Oh um nothing." I flipped back my hair and went back down to reading out of the textbook.
"You sighed what's wrong?" He inched closer to me so our upper arms were touching.
