Flippy POV

Splendid decided that we should have a party at his house tomorrow. He invited sniffles, nutty, flaky and the rest. The only one he didn't invite was the moose. So I helped splendid get the party ready. "So are you & flaky dating now?" He asked with a grin. I blushed. "Yeah." "Well, that's great. Take good care of her alright?" He laughed. "Alright. I'll protect her." I smiled. After we got done with everything the party was ready. People started to come in and dance eat cake or just have fun. I wonder were flaky could be? "Hi..f-flippy." I saw her wearing a red dress with long sleeves. She looked cute.

I smiled. "Don't be so shy. Let's have fun okay?" She smiled. "Okay." We ate cake & just talked. Then we danced. She was so silly but that's what made her adorable. Suddenly I heard this loud noise. Nutty was trying to put peanuts in a blending machine. Flaky his behind me because she has a reaction to them. I walked over to nutty.

"What are you doing?" "I'm trying to blend these." "It won't work there peanuts. There too hard." "Okay" but when he tried to get them out he forgot to turn the blender off and cut off 3 of his fingers. Blood was everywhere and he screamed bloody murder. My eyes got bigger. I started shaking as I kept here the blender got off & screaming. Flaky turned the blender off and took out nuttys hand. But it was too late, I was already my other self. I took out a knife and stabbed sniffles arm. Flaky kept trying to calm me down but it wouldn't work. I stabbed someone else as I heard more screaming and running. "Hey dude calm down" I almost stabbed him until he fell to the ground. "Flippy stop!" I heard a familiar scream. Once I turned around I stabbed flaky in the eye.

"AHHHHH!!!!!" once I heard her scream more I was back to normal. My face was turning pale and my heart was pounding madly. I couldn't believe what I've done...tears rolled down my face. I dropped the knife and ran away. I decided I'd never come back, ever...

I had hurt the people I cared about and hurt the one I loved so badly. I could never go back..I kept running and running until I was in the woods. I didn't know what to do. I sat on the ground against a tree breathing heavily.

Flaky POV

The pain was hurting me so much...I've never been stabbed like this before. I put both hands over my eye. It hurt so much. "F-flaky!" Splendid came running towards me. "Its alright its alright...well all help you, don't worry..." He was shaking. "W-wheres flippy?" "Well find him later. Right now we need to get you, sniffles, & nutty fixed up." They took us three to the hospital fast and when I woke up I had a bandage over my eye. I could still see good but...it just didn't feel normal. I know this isn't flippy fault..he's been in the war for so long. He can't help what he's become. He needs love & affection from all of his friends. Some people might be scared of him, but I know deep inside that he's a better person.

I got up from the bed and decided to go look for him. But once I got up I saw his hat that he always wears with a note. "This is for you. So you won't forget about me. I've always loved you but, I can't go back...I'm sorry. This is our last goodbye. Please take care flaky - flippy" tears rolled down my face. I put the note in my pocket and held the hat close to me. I wanted to find him. I don't want him to leave. I got up and ran out of the hospital. It was cold outside but I didn't care. I kept running & running until I saw him walking on a train track. I stopped & yelled his name. "Flippy!!!!! Wait!!" I ran up to him and hugged him tightly as I cried. "P-please don't go! I-i don't want you to leave...were a-all your friends and i-i couldn't imagine what it would be l-like without you.....I love you s-so much f-flippy.... Please don't g-go...even if you t-think its best that you leave i-i can't take this pain in my chest....please don't go!" I clutched his shirt and sobbed.

Flippy POV

She was right..."flaky...its alright...please stop crying..." I stroked her hair hugging her in my arms. "Come on let's go back home...your getting awfully cold..." I smiled and took off my jacket to put it on her. She was wearing my hat too.

We walked to my house together. The next couple of days nutty & sniffles were out of the hospital and everything was okay. No one was scared of me anymore and were glad that I came back. A couple of days when we were in our last year of high school I wanted to do something special for flaky..

We were both outside in the courtyard talking. "F-flaky..." I blushed. "What is it?" She smiled. I got in front of her and got on one knee. Splendid was super happy. I pulled out a ring. "W-will you marry me?" I blushed and smiled as I looked in her eyes. She blushed. "F-flippy..." She stood up. "Yes" she smiled.
