Jungwon and Mayron walked through the garden while talking to each other. Then, Jungwon noticed something. "Are they having a tea party there?" Jungwon pointed at a rounded table full of nobles. "Ah, yes. Prince Kyungsh held a tea party for his friends, and that's why I'm here too." Mayron answered. "You're friends with Kyungsu?" Mayron shook his head. "I, maybe the heir of the House of Bione, but I am certainly not Prince Kyungsu's friend. My brother is only his friend, I was invited along with him. Prince Kyungsu wanted to be my friend more than wanting to be with Ashton because I'm the heir and Ashton is not." Jungwon looked at Mayron and back at the nobles around the table. "If you don't mind me asking, why don't you want to be his friend?" Mayron gave a slight smile before it dropped. "Prince Kyungsu may look good and innocent on the outside, but that is not the case." Mayron looked at Jungwon. "You must already know this, Your Highness, as you are his younger brother. Don't you?" Jungwon was surprised. In the novel, Mayron is known as Prince Kyungsu's best friend and right-handed man, but now it's different. It was Mayron's brother, but Mayron doesn't have a brother in the novel. What changed here?  "Well, I've been noticing some changed around. I just think Kyungsu is just growing. That's all." Mayron, continue to look at Jungwon. "I see." That was all he answered. There was a long silence afterward, and the atmosphere around them was awkward. Mayron decided to break the silence. "I never accepted his tea party invitations because I never wanted to get close to him. That's why he only invited my brother and requested for me to be there too. But I always walk around the palace, I know my way around here." Jungwon nodded at his response. "After a while since my brother started to get closer to his highness. That's when everything changed. He got colder and more distant, and he even started to get aggressive. He was never like that until he met Prince Kyungsu." Mayron looked at Jungwon. "But of course, I don't mean to offend the imperial family's name." Jungwon gave a subtle smile and spoke. "No, it's alright. I did find Kyungsu's personality and attitude weirder after my accident." Mayron nodded. "Yes, I noticed it, too. Do you think he is behind your accident?" Jungwon looked at Mayron and thought for a while. Is Kyungsu behind his accident? "I don't know, I don't think so. Kyungsu may have intentions, but he wouldn't hurt me. Just maybe.." Jungwon bites his bottom lips. Is he really behind the accident? He did try to hurt me in the novel, but who knows if it would be the same as the novel? "Maybe. But it's a fifty fifty chance that he is behind it. Just be careful around him, alright? I'll be by your side." Mayron smiled at him. "You will?" Jungwon tilted her head. "Of course I will. The House of Bione has been with the imperial family ever since the Slikles." Mayron got on his knees. "I, Mayron Bione, here and now, swear to devote myself to support you, Prince Jungwon." Jungwon was surprised again. No one wanted to stay by his side in the novel. Something really changed. Mayron was looking at Jungwon with a subtle smile. "I promise to do everything once told and to never betray you." Jungwon looked at Mayron, who was kneeling in front of him. Jungwon smiled back and said, "Mayron. I, Prince Yang Jungwon, take you, Lord Mayron Bione, as a trusted and loyal person. You may not betray me and never go back on your own words. Do you accept?" Mayron nodded. "I accept anything, Your Highness." Jungwon smiled. "Thank you, Mayron." Mayron stood up and bowed. "No, thank you, Your Highness, for putting your trust in me and making me a person close to you. I'm glad we are friends." The both of them smiled. "Me too. Thank you for wanting to be my friend, Mayron." Mayron shrugged. "No problem, your highness." The both of them continued to walk around the garden while looking at the beautiful scenery of the palace.
