Jungwon is walking in the palace garden. The cool breeze blew as his hair flows along it. It was a cold night. Jungwon was lost in his own thoughts. "House of Bione. The first dukedom to the Empire of Slikle and also to the Empire of Lavita. But seriously, what happened between House of Slikle and House of Lavita?" Jungwon sighed as he continued his walk into the palace garden.
As he walked down the pathway with rose bushes as the side, something flashed in his mind. "You will marry me, whether you like it or not!" A man's voice said while a woman's voice continued. "I will never marry you! I like-" The voices disappear from his mind even before the woman finishes her sentence. "What was that? That sound.. it sounded like..Kyungsu? But what is he fighting about? And with whom?" Jungwon was so confused. He took a seat at the bench under a tree as the night wind blew. "Is it part of the novel? Was it what happened after I died? Or was it before?" Jungwon was thinking back into the novel he read before getting reincarnated. "Prince Kyungsu was meant to marry the princess because of their love for each other. So was that the princess or not? Now I'm thinking about it, something did change after I came. A lot changed, actually. Was it because I went horseback riding with Sir Martin the other day and got caught in another accident?" Jungwon pondered, trying to think of what actually happened. "Change destiny. That's what the world tree told me. How am I supposed to change destiny? Furthermore, my own destiny? This is too hard. Why must I be the one being reincarnated? Why must it be me? Out of everyone, me?! This is useless! I can't even do anything! And I got into another accident with this body!" Jungwon sighed and buried his face into the palm of his hands. "I...I can't do this.. Why me? I'm not even that special.." Jungwon looked up into the night sky. The stars twinkled in the sky while shining down at him. Jungwon sighed once more before standing up and continued walking.
A shooting star flew across the sky, right above him. As the shooting star passed, a striking pain entered Jungwon's head. He held his head with his hands. "Why does my head suddenly hurt so much?!" Jungwon groaned in pain as his vision started to blur. The pain grew as his vision turned black. A thud sound was heard in the garden as the servants came out to check it out. They came across the area Jungwon just walked past. "Call the royal physician immediately! His highness has passed out!" The servants carried Jungwon back into the palace as the royal physician checked on him. As Jungwon opened his eyes, he noticed he was not in his room but walking around in the palace corridors? "What is this?" Jungwon was confused as he walked into the palace corridors. There, he spotted 2 people there. Prince Kyungsu and....him...?
