Chapter 7

DAY 80

     People whisper about how I got so much money and how I'm not dead. I didn't tell them what happened besides the fact that they were drunk, the first thing they would do was tell everyone.

     My oldest son doesn't stop asking too, he wants to know the truth about what happened to me. I do nothing but avoid his questions with whatever is nearby, work, my wife, playing with little Isaac... His curiosity makes me worry, I try to get him to forget about it, saying that it was God's help that he was still alive .

     He should be thankful that the house we are building is going to be one of the best and safest houses.

DAY 120

     Has occurred. Gerson stole my diary and read it to those drunks. They have approached me in front of my house demanding that I take them. I yelled at them to go away and stop talking so much nonsense. It is then that Gerson threw my diary on the ground, saying that he knew the truth and that he could no longer hide it.

     I have told everything to Ruth, who is forced to return to that island tomorrow, because they have threatened to kill her and Isaac. She didn't want me to go back and destroy those people's lives. She was much nicer than me. But I can't risk it. My family is all I want.

     I beg God to forgive me, it is not my intention to go to that island. I do not want to destroy an island where peace and the teachings of his word are learned with each rebirth.

     In the end, even if you can forgive me, I will receive your punishment for destroying your mission. I will accept whatever you decide.
