DAY 162

I couldn't see how they were treated. They didn't care if they could die, they knew their secret, what was the importance of one less slave? They had others they could put into the construction.

I had found out that they had the girl with the Pharaoh's son, as if she were a doll.

When I offered him my business, he thought about it a lot. "Why should I accept it, if I have fishermen at my service?" He asked me.

"There is no fisherman who has as much knowledge about it as I do" I answered without trembling ". Let me take the girl."

"I will return her to you with one condition" He looked at me with cold eyes, they were terrifying ". When the girl becomes a woman, you will bring it back from her. Such a race must remain in the dynasty. Until then, let your wife teach her to be a woman who respects men and her Pharaoh. "

My stomach turned. I had learned that Resurrectors were people who respected each other regardless of whether they were men or women. I couldn't let that little girl find out what mortals were really like. I accepted even though it was never going to happen.

I have Nuriel sleeping next to me as we return home. When she saw me, she cried from happiness and from being scared in that place.

When we get there, I'll grab our things and take Ruth and Isaac with us far away from here, where no one can find us.
I have had to abandon Arael and Haniel, but I have promised from the bottom of my heart that I will take care of her daughter, preventing her from being corrupted by this cruel world.
The girl is the future of her race, I can't let anything bad happen to her.
