Slytherin Y/n

Y/n + Daphne Greengrass and Umbitch

Fifth year

===

There are rules in every society. Rules to guide, protect, limit and contain. Rules that must be followed, rules that must be bent. Rules that must never be broken, and rules that were just made to be snapped right down the middle. These rules are often set by officials, people of power or by yourself. Many times though, it doesn't matter who set the rules, what the rules do, or whether the rules are even slightly bendable, because Y/n wouldnt want to  follow the rules. Especially when those rules conflicted her morals.

Her only morals right now, this very instant, was as follows:

Bitches must be damned.

Now, could Umbridge classify as a bitch? Yes. Yes, she very well could. So any, and all, rules may be broken.

Especially the one about not bothering or planking higher ups.

"You're a lunatic-" Daphne Greengrass said in awe, "-a genuis, but still also a lunatic."

Y/n gave her a grin, "What can I say, Daph? Umbitch has got to go. And what better way than just... driving her out?"

A laugh escaped Daphne's lips, "so, what's the plan again?"

"Well, Umbitch, any second now, is going to leave her office.As soon as she does, I am going to send my TrumpetMaster into said office, and then run after her, requesting a quick silent meeting in her office. When we get in, the TrumpetMaster will activate, and while she can hear the screeching, I'll pretend to hear nothing; thus driving her crazy."

Before a short giggle could be heard from Daphne, Umbitch's door swung open, and Y/n pushed a small, tinkering little muggle-contraption called a robot into the room before the door could shut completely.

Then, as the being calibrated, Y/n ran after Umbridge, a false look of desperation etched onto it. "Professor, Professor!" The young slytherin called, her brows furrowing deeply, "I- I have to report something. Quickly! But in private-" the girl lowered her voice, "-we don't want the wrong people to hear!"

Umbridge had a momentary look of distraught etched in her face before she hobbled back towards her office door, her hand clutched around Y/n's in a manner of ushering her closer. "Talk to me, child!" The lady said as she pushed open her door, but before Y/n could start her sentence, a loud, ear splintering screech flooded the halls, causing Umbridge to jump in fright. Y/n, doing her absolute best to ignore the horrid, horrid sound, started speaking in hushed tones, looking quite normal. Umbridge started yelling, calling in fright, looking for the source of the noise as Y/n pretended that nothing was changed, silent words escapeing her falsely-furrowed lips.

"Professor, are you alright?" The girl feigned as Umbitch started looking underneath cupboards and in drawers, "can't you hear it!?" The lady screamed, her voice almost 7 octaves higher than normal. "Hear what?" Y/n allowed her look of distress to melt into a fares look of concern. "Is Professor going mad? Should I call madam Prompfrey?" Umbridge looked like she could commit murder as she started slamming doors open and closed, looking for the device she would surely not find for another 2 weeks at least... if she was lucky. "You must hear it! Help me find the source of that noise!" Y/n farted a greater look of concern as the device continued to screech in a periodical manner; on, off, on, off.

"I hear nothing! Working at Hogwarts must be driving you crazy! Surely, you aren't fit for the job anymore??" "No! Never mind! The sounds gone away!" Umbridge called out, though the screeching was still loud as day. "Now, what was your matter?" Umbitch looked even more constipated with pain than ever before, her hands twitching. "I've forgotten. Never mind then." Y/n concluded sweetly, leaving the office with a slam of the door as the screeching only got louder.

"IM NOT MAD!" Umbitch cried out.
