So he's leaving the island and wants to stay in contact with me.

"That's okay." I guessed, watching him puts fresh clothes on.

We came to my house and he took a shower, now I'm sitting on the bed watching him, or listening to him talk.

"I mean I want a relationship with you, but would it be possible for you being that it's going to be long distant." He looks me in the eye and I smiled.

"As much as I want to agree, I'm still stuck on the fact that you're friends with Omar. That man is up there in society and it has me questioning who you are. An since it's not my business, I'm more concerned about you making the wrong choice in choosing me. I'm pretty sure I'm not qualified and that we won't work."

"Jamila, I'm pretty sure I'll choose you and in terms of qualified, I can't really stop the love that I feel for you." He revealed and I coughed.

"I love you too, friend." I put that out there, hoping he means that but I'll be lying to myself if I admit to what I said.

Smiling, he held my nervous trembling hands.

Dih man come give mih nerves problem.

"I love you more than a friend..."

"A Jace put yuh up to this?" I laughed nervously.

"He did." He admits.

"I know it." I sighed. "He can be a bad influence sometimes so..."

"Jamila." He cuts me off.

"Mhmm?"

"He's telling the truth though." He revealed.

"How so?"

"How you have all the characteristics of a good woman and today's theory let me see that your curiosity will take you far. We stopped down the hill for a reason but I never expect you to come out showing so much skin." He shook his head.

"It's my petty look." I shrugged and he laugh.

"I don't know what that was for, but it got me jealous so I had to make a move and get you out of there."

"How is this going to work?" I wondered.

"You're overthinking and it's best to say that we'll know with time." He advised.

"You've done this before?"

"No." He laughs.

"It sounds like a good story so tell me." I insisted.

"It is a good story." He agrees. "Often times, I'm the one being chased instead of me chasing a female. That's a red flag for me. With you, I feel like the old me."

"How so?"

"I live in New York but my family is from Georgia. We live in a smaller city along the country side where there's a farm, ponds, barn and forestry for miles. In the middle of nowhere basically. I grew up knowing hardships before the little wealth came." He explained and he looks at me as if I didn't believe, which I don't. "Fine, seeing is believing."

"Yes it is."

"It is indeed." He smiled.

The look he's giving clearly indicates what he want so I told him what's on my mind. "You can kiss me whenever."

"Thank God." He laughs, taking me up off the bed and I held unto him. My arms around his neck and my legs around his waist.

His hands on my thighs, felt so good.

The kiss felt like goodbye. Something I'll miss so now that he's here I'm going to make use of it.

Not minding the thoughts of him lying about his life or could be playing with me right now. This could be the red flag I'm ignoring.
