It was now a day and a few hours after Dream and Nightmare told the other's their past. Y/n and Nathaniel were sitting on Y/n's bed talking about what's been happening since they both woke up as Sanses. Nathaniel slightly growled when Y/n told what happened when they woke up as a Swap.
"So your Chara got pulled out of the underground by a search team that seemed to have appeared out if nowhere after killing every single monster except you? Dang" He said lightly as Y/n nodded. "Yeah, I was pissed when that happened and in a fit of rage I practically destroyed a wall of the Ruins because of that..." They said, rubbing the back of their spine.
After a few minutes of silence, Nathaniel spoke up "So Nightmare had told me when you first joined him, you had a Underswap Flower with you, where is he now?" He asked them. Y/n blinked lightly before scratching their cheek, "I uhhhh... I accidentally made him fall off my shoulder and basically removed his existence by moving too fast when I pulled Dream back that time Error and I were in Outertale..." They nervously said, making Nathaniel stare before snorting lightly "Y/n, sib...seriously?" He said laughing lightly.
Y/n rolled their eyes lightly before getting an idea, "wait... Considering we're in the Undertale multiverse, wouldn't that mean we have an inventory of some sorts?" They said, making Nathaniel blink "yeah? That's where I got that beanie I gave to Horror from, remember?" He said lightly and opening his own Inventory. Y/n stared at Nathaniel before they immediately focused on opening up an inventory. Y/n grinned brightly when one appeared, an item already catching their eyes.
Y/n pulled the item out of their inventory before stiffening slightly when they realized what it was "..." Y/n made a bittersweet smile "Hey, Nath! I have a old picture of Ma..." They said lightly, making Nathaniel look at them and notice the photo "oh...you mean the last picture we ever got from Ma?" He said lightly, making Y/n sigh and nod before placing it on their nightstand and look through their inventory again as Nathaniel pulled out a similar photo from his inventory.
Y/n lightly gasped when they pulled out a silver sun locket as Nathaniel pulled out a matching silver moon locket they both had worn before they died from their inventories. They both looked at each other before smiling lightly as they helped each other put the locket on. They both decided that was enough inventory checking for a day and closed their inventories "I have no idea how our gifts from Ma are still with us but uhhh I feel there's no use questioning things..." Y/n said, before perking up when Horror called out that everyone's lunch was ready.
Y/n and Nathaniel got up and walked out of Y/n's room and to the kitchen, arms linked. Once they were in the kitchen, the others greeted them before noticing the new lockets around their necks. Nightmare and Dream went to mention the lockets before sensing their bittersweet feelings and decided to be quiet and wait for the both to be ready to talk, glancing around at the other's, telling them to be quiet with their eyes.
