Tom was explaining his job to the class as Marinette stood next to him, carrying croissants, "My day begins at 4 a.m. every morning because the bakery opens at 7." Nino films on his phone, "You think that the life of a baker is pretty routine, making the same pastries, rolls, cakes...But actually, it's different everyday. One day someone might order a cake in the shape of the Eiffel Tower, and another day you might..."
Outside the classroom, Adrien tried to call his father.
"You've reached the voicemail of Gabriel Agreste's office. Please leave a message."
"Hi father, it's me. It's Parent's Career Day at school, remember? I was hoping that you were gonna show up. Call me back." Adrien hangs up, looking sad.
Plagg flies out, concerned, "You okay?"
"Yeah, whatever. Nothing new." the blonde reassures before walking back into the classroom as Tom was done presenting, the class applauding. Adrien sits down next to Ryder, the boy looking concerned.
"Marinette will come around and pass out some croissants baked fresh this morning." Tom finishes up as Marinette smiles.
"Thank you, Mr. Dupain. Now, let's meet Alya's mom, who is head chef at the Grand Paris hotel, owned by our mayor, Mr. Bourgeois."
Marinette looks at Adrien with a pouty expression before glaring as Amber was comforting him by patting his shoulder.
Chloé puts her jewelry case back into her purse.
Plagg, who had been peeking out of Adrien's bag sees Chloé putting the jewelry case into her purse, "Is that Camembert?" he stealthily flies over and enters Chloé's bag, opening the case, "Huh? Oh, that's not Camembert...But it is very shiny. I like shiny, hmm!"
"Unfortunately, I have no dishes to share. But maybe Mr. Bourgeois will invite you all to the hotel and treat you to lunch!" Marlena suggests as the students applaud, Roger laughing as André smiles.
Plagg was playing around, balancing Chloé's bracelet on his head and tossing it up and down, the jewelry item leaping up from the bag before falling back down, "He he...ohh...Ah! Ah!" he does this again, but this time, it tips over and falls, spilling the contents of Chloé's purse onto the floor as the kwami and the bracelet roll away from sight.
At the same time, Marinette slips on the jewelry box, falling down and spilling croissants all over the place, "Wahh!"
The other students gasp and look over to her, some giggling as Marinette rubs the back of her head sheepishly.
"Geez, is there a day when you're not tripping over something?" Chloé asks before she starts to pick up the contents of her purse.
Amber laughs at this, causing Marinette to glare at her, "What? It's not her fault that you're ridiculously clusmy. Now we can't eat those croissants because of your clumsiness."
"Next on the list is Sabrina's father, a policeman. Officer Roger!" Miss Bustier says as the two came up to the front of the room, the students applauding.
"I've been a police officer for 15 years, and I firmly believe that every citizen is innocent until proven guilty."
Chloé suddenly gasps, "My bracelet! It's gone! I had it a second ago."
