Haechan was born on June 6, 2000 in Seoul, South Korea. He lived in Seoul, South Korea, until he was 7 years old, then moved to Jeju, South Korea and stayed there for about 5 years. Then moved to Seoul, South Korea to join SM Entertainment. Haechan continued his education at the Seoul School of Performing Arts in Seoul.
Lee Dong Hyuk or better known as NCT's Haechan was born in Seoul, South Korea 19 years ago. When he was 7 years old, Haechan moved to Jeju until he was 12 years old. Haechan is a graduate of the Seoul School of Performing Arts. He is known to have a younger sister and two younger brothers
This guy who has blood type AB became an SM Entertainment trainee after passing the weekly auditions held by SM. When auditioning, Haechan sang Huh Gak's song entitled Hello. His stage name that he now uses is the result of a gift from Lee Sooman. SM Entertainment introduced Haechan as a member of SM Rookies in March 2014. At that time he still used his real name, Donghyuk.
Apart from being a member of NCT 127, Haechan is also a member of another sub unit of NCT namely NCT Dream along with Mark, Jisung, Jeno, Chenle, Renjun and Jaemin. Of all the NCT members, Haechan is said to be the one who acts cute the most. He is also considered the member with the funniest personality. Haechan's dream is to become a reliable singer and songwriter.
