Ester's POV

That was my dads voice!

My dad shouted again " Do you hear me! Give me my daughter back!"

I pleaded Jack to hide me from my father. "Sure, hide down here and don't move. OK?" he said. I nodded and he opened a small hidden door in the floor. As I crawled in I could still hear my dad screaming and shouting in the mega phone."Give me my daughter now! I know she is in there because her necklace that I gave her is a tracking device so you can't hide her from me!"

As soon as Jack heard that he said, "Quick give me the necklace! Then he wont find you."

"What will you do with it? I asked unsure

"Throw it out the back window so they think you are running away. Then we can escape." Jack answered.

I gave him the necklace and he went to the window out the back looked around. As soon as he saw a rabbit, he threw the necklace. Somehow the necklace landed on the rabbit's ear as it ran away. Jack closed hes eyes and put his hand out. The rabbit stopped and looked at Jack. "Run my friend. Don't let them find you. I fair thee well." Then the rabbit ran away. I heard my dad yell, " She's running away! After her!" Then we heard footsteps run past the house and to where the rabbit was. As we slowly tiptoed out of the cottage, I accidentally stepped on a dead branch. It snapped. Then we heard something we hoped we didn't have to hear. A man yelled from the darkness behind the trees that the rabbit ran off in, "Sir I heard something back at the cottage. shall I investigate?"

My dad yelled back "Make it quick lieutenant."

"Yes sir. Soldiers lets go." the Lieutenant said back.

"Oh come on, they are circling back our way!!  Run! Ester!!" Jack said as we ran back into the city.

"Sorry Jack, I didn't see the branch!" I yelled back as we ran as fast as we could with soldiers on our tail.

"Just, try to keep up!" Jack yelled back rummaging through his bag, "Here!" Jack threw me a pair of gloves.

"What are these for?" I asked over the sound of hover cars and people screaming and honking at us.

"You know how to rock climb, right?" he yelled as he put his own pair of gloves on.

I yelled back, "Yea why?" as I put the pair on that he gave me.

" Cause you're gonna need those skills right now. Follow my lead and don't fall behind!" Jack increased his speed and jumped onto a hover car. I followed.

"OK Ester. When I count to three we jump onto that building.  After that we break those stacked cans of oil with your stun gun and my AK48. That will slow them down. OK, one...two...THREE!! We both jumped off the car and onto the building. I glanced back down to see where the lieutenant and his soldiers were.

"They're climbing the walls, Jack! we don't have much time!" I yelled.

"Then help me with this!"Jack yelled back over the sound of his AK48 firing at the cans of oil.

I ran over and started firing at the oil cans too. One by one all the oil cans burst. Just in time too because the lieutenant and his men were almost all the way up. "Run..." Jack said to me.

We jumped to the other roof top and waited for the lieutenant with our guns ready.  As soon as the lieutenant and his men were on the rooftop, Jack yelled, "FIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Both of us fired as fast as we could. As planned the lieutenant and his men slipped on the oil and and fell off the building. The lieutenant fell face first straight to the ground. All ten soldiers and the lieutenant died. Oooooooohhhhhhh that's gotta hurt,"Jack said.
