Y/n turned on FaceTime and showed Taehyung their son, who was playing with his toys on the floor. "Look, Taehyung," she said, trying to sound cheerful. "He's learned how to stack the blocks."

A few years passed by, Y/n gave birth to a son, Taehyung and she raised the child in a house together because Y/n decided to continue her studies and she moved to New York. Taehyung decided to let her, but Y/n tried to involve Taehyung and call him multiple times despite the time zone difference so Taehyung doesn't feel lonely when he is getting his treatment.

Taehyung smiled and watched their son stack the blocks, but his eyes were sad. "He's getting so big," he said, his voice low. "I can't believe how much I've missed."

Y/n's heart ached at the sound of his voice. "You haven't missed everything," she said, trying to be optimistic. "He still needs his father. You're a part of his life, even if you're not here."

Taehyung is doing much fine, despite being miles away from each other, he trusts her and doesn't act like a creep or toxic to her.

"I know," Taehyung said, his voice heavy. "But I wish I could be there for him. And for you. I miss you both so much."

Y/n bit her lip and looked away from the camera. She didn't want to talk about their relationship, not when they were still on the edge of divorce. "We miss you too," she said, her voice soft. "But we're doing okay. We're getting by."

Taehyung nodded, but he didn't look convinced. "I'm glad," he said, his voice strained. "But I wish I could do more. I wish I could be there for you."

"You are," Y/n said, trying to sound reassuring. "You're doing everything you can to get better. And that's all we can ask for."

Taehyung's face softened, and he looked at Y/n with gratitude.

"How's your treatment going?" Y/n asked.

"Next week is the last session, I am doing really better." Taehyung said. He was hoping Y/n turns. Y/n smiled.

"Good, oh look Gyu-eun god he is so naughty. He got it from you I think." Y/n turned the camera. Taehyung chuckled as he saw his son spilling the juice.

"Should I visit after next week? I miss you both." Taehyung said.

"No, not next week. My exams are coming." She told him. Taehyung knows her exams are not for next few months, she made up an excuse she doesn't want Taehyung to visit and Taehyung knew but he acted normal.

"Oh, I would help take care of Gyu-eun." He said.

"No, no, it's fine. My friend will take care. Don't worry. Oh I have to go now."

Y/n took a deep breath as she stood outside Taehyung's house. She had flown all the way from New York to surprise him and their son, and she was nervous about how he would react.

After all, it had been years since she had been here and even longer since they'd been together.

When Taehyung opened the door, his eyes widened in shock. "Y/n?" he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "What are you doing here?"

"Gyu eun!" He hugged their son tightly.

"I came to see you," Y/n said, a small smile playing at the corners of her lips. Taehyung's boxy smile got bigger.

Taehyung stepped aside to let her in, and as she walked into the apartment, she saw their son running towards her with open arms. She scooped him up into a hug, tears of joy streaming down her face.

As they sat down to catch up, Y/n couldn't help but notice how different Taehyung seemed. He was no longer the same person who had hurt her all those years ago. He was calmer, more thoughtful, and more self-aware.

Taehyung was trying to be happy to see Gyu-eun, this was the first time Gyu-eun was in Taehyung's house. "So how are you doing? How's Seren?" Y/n asked.

"Good, but the silence of this creeps. Seren visited a few times but Y/n, I kinda wish You and Gyu-eun could live with me."

Taehyung finally mustered up the courage to ask Y/n about the elephant in the room. "Y/n, I know I hurt you," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "And I'm so sorry for what I did. I've been going to therapy, and I've been working hard to overcome my personality disorder. But I understand if you don't want to be with me anymore."

Y/n looked at him, her eyes softening. "Taehyung, I know you didn't hurt me on purpose," she said. "And I know you're not the same person you were back then. I've been thinking a lot about us, and I'm ready now. I want to be with you again."

Taehyung's eyes widened in shock, and then they filled with tears. "Y/n," he said, his voice choking with emotion. "I never stopped loving you. I'm so sorry for what I did, and I'll spend the rest of my life making it up to you. I want to be with you, too."

They hugged each other tightly, their bodies pressed together as they both let out a sigh of relief. It was as if they had been waiting for this moment for years. And now that they were finally together again, nothing else mattered.

"Thank you," he said, his voice filled with emotion. "For being patient with me. For giving me another chance."

He was nervous but leaned in to kiss her lips. She kissed back. His tears started flowing, she is perfect, this is perfect. He doesn't want to ever ruin this for his trust issues. "I got hurt a lot because of you."

Taehyung nodded, and his eyes were filled with tears. "I know," he said, his voice barely audible. "And I'm going to make it up to you. I promise."
