Chapter 10

Y/n was sad the whole day, because Taehyung hasn't wished her for the birthday. She thought maybe he doesn't even know it's Y/n's birthday.

Then she received a box and flowers.

Last time it was Taehyung, so of course this time it must be Taehyung again, she has told him that she is terrified by this but she is happy that he didn't forget her birthday.

She open the box, and smiled. it has a note, 'Happy birthday. Wear this, I want the birthday girl to look prettiest.'

She looked at the dress.

Taehyung was at work. His head has been filled with thoughts, bad one. He saw Y/n with Jimin, and now he can't stop thinking.

"Mr. Kim, are you fine? You look distracted." Y/n's father said, he still class him Mr. Kim in office, even when Taehyung tells him not too.

"No, it's nothing. Come sit father." He said, Y/n's parents trust Taehyung more than Y/n. They think Y/n is avoiding them after marriage while Taehyung is the one who take care of them.

"I am fine. I thought you wouldn't come to work. And would like to spend the day with Y/n on her birthday." Her father said.

"Yeah, I was about to leaving."

Y/n's father left his office. Taehyung cursed out loud. "Shit, first birthday after marriage and I forget it."

He never forget to send her gifts on her every birthday except this one.

He looked at the time, it was already 6 pm. He needs to do something fast.

Taehyung was panicking but he knew only one person could help him. He called Jimin. "Jimin, there is a huge problem. I don't know how I forgot,"

"Y/n's birthday? Really Tae, you forget her birthday, the day you met her? You would go crazy every year before her birthday planning what you would give her, and now you forgot?"

"If you remembered it then you didn't remind me? Now do something! I want to make it special!"

Jimin sighed. "I got your back."

"Ahh, thank you." Taehyung took a relieved sigh and he knew Jimin would handle everything.

Y/n came home and saw the whole place decorated with flowers. She saw Taehyung, "Happy birthday baby."

She ran to him and hugged him. "Tae," she pulled back. "You know I was this close to crying thinking you forgot my birthday until I got your surprise."

"I am sorry," he hugged her again. He took a deep breath, calming his mind. He is thinking too much lately, when it's Y/n. His love, he should know she will not hurt him. "I love you."

"I love you too. And you always do extreme stuff. What would we do with all of this?" She said, It doesn't even come close to what Taehyung originally had in his mind for her birthday but Jimin saved him at the last moment. "Did you invite anyone? Mom and dad?"

He shook his head. "It will be just you and me. We can join the party alone,"

It was fun on its own, the whole place was decorated as if it would be a huge ball. But it's just her and Taehyung. They slowly danced, cut cake and enjoyed themselves. After that they were sitting in the backyard looking at the city lights.

"Y/n," He gave her something.

"It's really small. I thought you would give me something huge." She said,

"You don't like big gifts." He said, she smiled.

"You already know me so well." She pecked his lips. She opened the small gift. And it just has a note. " A week in the Caribbean."
