Chapter 1

"Can you believe it? I was so shocked when he said he wants to marry Y/n. He is such a good person. Humble, mature, caring and respectful. Despite having all the wealth, he doesn't have any ego. " Her father said to Y/n.

"Dad, it's too early for marriage. I am not ready." She exclaimed.

"Y/n, you will not find a man like him again, he is perfect! Just meet him okay? Then you can decide."  Her father said.

"But-"

"Y/n, I have never told you to do anything for me. But please just listen to me this time. Please marry him for me."

She can't say no to her parents, also she doesn't have any solid reason why she doesn't want to marry.

Her parents were really happy. Y/n wasn't dating anyone and her parents really want her to get married to him. So she agreed.

She tried to call Jungkook, but after years she suddenly wanted to talk to him. After just two years of dating, he went to attend college in the states. He said they still can be in long distance, but Y/n said it's better to end things before it gets worse.

Jungkook didn't pick up the call and she couldn't talk to him.

Her father told her to meet Taehyung once before marriage.

He sent a car to pick her up for the first meeting. She was nervous, and tried to convince herself how she would politely say no to Taehyung.

The car ride was not ending, it brought her out of the main city. She could see the sea. The car stopped.

She was scared, in her mind, she thought her father's boss must be an old man. She doesn't remember their first meeting.

When she saw Taehyung, she was relieved, at least he is not an old man, he was actually really handsome.

He smiled showing her boxy smile, "Hi, I am Kim Taehyung, it's nice to meet you."

"I am Y/n," She replied, as if he doesn't know that, along with every little detail about her.

He holds her hand, and brings her to a yacht. She has never been to a yacht.

He wanted to do something romantic for her before marriage.

"Hey, you don't look comfortable with me. Is everything fine?" He asked. She shook her head, she is indeed uncomfortable. She knows it's the only meeting and they are getting married. So of course, she is uncomfortable and nervous.

"I know it must be awkward, I feel nervous too."

"You feel nervous?" She asked, if he is handling a huge company, he must meet new people everyday, while it's different for Y/n.

"Yeah, I am not sure about your thoughts, you might find it weird that you are getting married so quickly without even knowing the person. I always wanted things to be this way.  People have different thoughts about marriage, they say before marriage you must spend time together. While for me, I don't personally like dating. Things are way better this way, if we get married and then get to know about each other after the marriage and fall in love slowly." He said.

He could directly approach Y/n, but he waited for her to grow up and then asked her father for her hand. He doesn't like dating or having intimate relationships before marriage.

"People don't have that point of view now," She spoke.

"But People should, if someone is willing to marry, that means the person is actually sincere about you and he wants a serious relationship with you. I don't even want us to meet before the wedding, but then I decided to have a conversation with you, so you get to know about my thoughts and why I want to get married like this."

"Mr. Kim, can I ask you something?" She said,

"It's Taehyung, for you. And yes you may."

"Why me? I am sure you will find amazing women in your circle. Then why do you want to marry a simple girl like me?"

"That is exactly the reason I wanted a simple girl."

He prefers girls with low standards, you ask why? Because that way he can control her and her family. And they are mostly loyal, humble and obedient.

"I could be a gold digger." It's a stereotype that rich people have that poor girls are gold diggers, so she wonders why he doesn't think that way.

He chuckled, "Then it would have been easier for me to impress you as I have all the money in this world. But I am just looking for one thing."

"What?"

"Loyalty." He hold her hand,

"I can guarantee you that you will get all comfort, luxury and love from me. Just in return, I want you to be loyal. I can't forgive betrayal." He exclaimed. "Can you do that for me?"

That's not a lot to ask for, if they are getting married of course he will ask for loyalty. "Yes."

"I want to ask you myself."

He took a deep breath, sinking down on one knee, he took out a little box out of his pocket. "Will you marry me?"

She nodded her head. He slid the ring on her finger. He kissed her hand, "You are mine, princess."
