The Aftermath [COMPLETED]

Part 4

When the two sea monsters came back to the underwater, they told their master about what they had seen, which surprised the worried Fujimoto.

"What!? Matt has been turning into a lobster monster and destroying the whole human ships!?" Fujimoto said in shock.

They nodded in response to him.

He began to panic, worried for Ponyo if she was in danger. "This is not good! Ponyo is in danger and I can't let that happen! Neither is Matt!" Then he went to the other room to find a potion to change Matt back to normal. However, he found a big bottle of potion that could bring Matt back. Before he would take the potion with him, he saw one of the lobsters entering his room, which annoyed him.

"Hey! Get out of here! Shoo!" He shooed one of them away before he could get back to his important mission to save Ponyo and then turn Matt back to a human form. He summoned a big bubble and headed his way to the surface to save them both.

Back with Matt and Ponyo...

Matt became exhausted while Ponyo became tired as she fell asleep on his forehead. Probably they had too much fun. One of his legs collapsed and took the helicopter and cooled himself off. He sighed in relaxation, which awakened Ponyo to feel the air coming from a helicopter.

He threw the helicopter away and destroyed it. After that, he turned around and noticed the board of Coca-Cola, which gave him a brilliant idea. He managed to help his friends when he ran towards the board until he tripped on a banana peel and crashed onto the sand, making Ponyo fall into the ocean by accident. Luckily, she was saved by her father and one of your sea monsters. After Matt collapsed, one of the towns covered most of the beach's parking lot while making it look like a sand castle entry.

Ponyo looked over and saw her father's worried face. "Father?"

"Ponyo! Are you alright!? You had me worried!" Fujimoto said, hugging his daughter tightly. After giving her a hug, he faced her and asked her, "What happened here? The sea monsters had seen and told me everything."

"Matt and I went out collecting the seashells until he was turned into a lobster monster and attacked all the ships while having fun," Ponyo explained what happened.

"And how did he turn into a lobster monster?" Fujimoto asked her curiously.

She looked over and pointed at the oil drum in the rocky area. "That black goo turned him into a monster."

"I see. Well, luckily, I brought a potion that can bring him back to normal." Fujimoto said, bringing the big bottle of potion out of the bag.

"Does it mean he'll turn back to human?" Ponyo asked her father.

He nodded. "Yes."

"Let me do, Father. I'll be the one to bring him back." Ponyo said, pleading with him.

"But, Ponyo. You haven't learned everything." Fujimoto said.

"Father, I had seen you making potions and seen every human's moves multiple times, so it's time I do this on my own. I had learned all kinds of things." Ponyo said with a pleading look.

He sighed. "Very well, but be careful. It's really heavy."

She nodded. "Okay."

Then Fujimoto carefully gave the potion to Ponyo. She forgot how heavy it was before she could use her balance to carry it. When she had the bottle of potion in her arms, she walked towards Matt, still in his monster form, and poured it into his mouth. When she was done pouring it into his mouth, Matt finally turned back to normal. Matt became human again!

After that, Matt groaned as he sat up and started to vomit, it only left with the clothes of cookie scouts and cookies. When he was done vomiting, his head started to spin as he rubbed his forehead tiredly.

"What happened?" Matt groaned. He looked over and saw Ponyo standing beside her father Fujimoto. He realized what he had done. He stood up and panicked.

"Oh, my God! I didn't know you were here! Please forgive me for what I did!" He cried out, pleading with him for his forgiveness.

"Do not worry about it, young man. It wasn't your fault. I will get this place cleaned up while you two go home and get some rest. You look exhausted." Fujimoto suggested.

"Are you sure?" Matt asked.

He nodded. "Yes. Go home. Edd and Tom will probably be wondering where you two have been."

He let out a smile and nodded back, "Okay!" Matt said before taking Ponyo's hand and leading her home. "Come on, Ponyo! Let's go home and make ourselves some ham sandwich."

"Yay! Ham!" Ponyo exclaimed happily.

"Wait!" Fujimoto halted them.

The two best friends stopped and turned to face him.

"Before you two head home, you forgot this," Fujimoto said, handing the bucket of starfish, squid, sponge, and seashells.

Ponyo smiled and said, "Thank you, Father."

He nodded in response to his daughter.

Then Ponyo took Matt's hand and headed back to Edd's apartment. "Now let's go home and tell Edd and Tom everything about what we did."

"And let us make ourselves some ham sandwich, Ponyo," Matt said, smiling at her.

While watching the two leave, Fujimoto let out a sigh and muttered himself, "Oh, Granmamare... Our daughter has grown up. You would have seen it this of how she would handle this on her own."
