Chapter 9

"Oh darling I am so sorry. I guess you should sit in between us than."

So that's what I do. I sit in between my history teacher and my principal.. I guess Weems sees I'm a bit uncomfortable. "Darling, I swear we did not plan this. I am so sorry, if it makes you feel better you can ask to sit between Enid and Yoko" She says and looks at me. She really looks like she feels bad for me. "No it's okay, it'll only lead more attention." I say. Weems nods and for the rest of the ride they stay silent.

About 20 minutes later we arrive at the festival. Weems tells us to behave and we all walk out of the bus. I walk out of the bus with Yoko and Enid. "Guys, I have to wait for Weems and Frump" I say. I really want to go with them, but I don't want Frump and Weems to be mad at me for leaving. "We're here" I hear behind me. Weems comes out of the bus and Frump follows her. I see Yoko look at bit sad at me. "Go, I'll be fine. Go have fun" I say to her. "You sure?" Enid asks "Ye-" I want to say that it's fine but Weems cuts me off. "No, go with them. I'm sure nothing will happen and else I'm sure you'll find us. Now, go have fun!" Weems smiles. "Thank you so much principal Weems!" I say. I kinda want to hug her, but I know Yoko and Enid are watching. So instead I just smile at her and Frump. They both smile back. "Let's go!" Enid says. Yoko and Enid run away so I quickly follow them.

Yoko, Enid, Ajax, Divina, Bianca, Kent and I have fun the entire night. I even took a picture and sent it to my mom. She really loved it and told me to have fun.

We've been here for two hours now. I'm texting with my mom telling her what it's like here. "Tate, someone is definitely checking you out" Yoko says when no one else is listening. "What? Where?" I ask. "Behind you" I look behind me and look straight in the smirking face of Frump. She still a few feet away, but it feels like she's right infront of me staring into my soul. There's something in her eyes pulling me toward her. "I'll be right back" I say. I stand up and walk to her. 

"Hey" "Hey, how are you?" She asks. "I'm okay, it's really fun here" I smile at her. "That's great love" She says. "Thank you miss Frump. For everything." I say. She smiles at me "Your welcome love and please just call me Morticia when we're alone or with Larissa" She says. "Okay. Thank you Morticia" I say and give her a quick hug. She smiles and hugs me back. "Why do you hug her didn't you hug me" We hear a voice behind us. We look up and we see Weems, she has a pout on her face making me laugh. "Because I'm just better than you" Morticia winks at Weems. "Tate, darling, I need to talk to Morticia for a minute. We'll be right back" Weems says and only has eyes for Morticia at the moment. The way her voice sounded so seductive makes a shiver run up my spine. Morticia smirks and the walk away together. I don't even want to know what they're going to do. I see something move from the corner of my eye. I look to that side, but there's nothing there. I swear I saw something there, I look behind me. Yoko and the others are just talking, no attention on me. That's great no one is going to ask me anything, I look to the woods again. I need to know what I saw. I walk to the woods and reach into my shoes for my knife.

I'm in the woods looking around. "Hello Tate" I hear a voice I don't want to hear. I look around to see where the voice is coming from. But I see no one "What do you want?" "I want to see you and your loved ones, all dead." "You are mad!" I say getting angry. "We all go a little mad sometimes. That was your fathers quote remember?" "What do you want from me?" I snap at him "I want to see what you look like on the inside" I hear the voice loud and clear behind me. I quickly turn around, but that wasn't a smart move. I close my eyes when I feel the sharp pain in my abdomen. I let out a scream from pain. When I finally get the strength to open my eyes I see somthing I wished to never see. I'm looking straight at the mask from Ghostface..

I freeze for a moment, but quickly remember my knife. I raise my knife and stab him in his back. He screams and we both pull our knifes out. After that he quickly runs away "I'll be back for you." I hear him one last time. "I'll fucking kill you." I scream. I clean my knife with the inside of my dress and put it back in my shoe. The adrenaline of the moment is gone and I start feeling the pain in my abdomen. I look down and I see my black dress is turning dark red. I look at the wound. He didn't stab that deep.. I got lucky. Just a few stitches and I'll be fine, but I think I'll just sit here for a bit...
