Chapter 12

"Hey darling, can I sit with you?" I hear Larissa. I open my eyes "Yes La- oh" Nobody's here.. It was all in my eyes. I feel tears coming, but I push them back. Not long after I fall asleep.

I wake up and look around. Wait where am I?? Where is Yoko? Everything from last night comes back to my mind. Oh.. right. I'm in the hospital. I hear a knock on the door. A happy feeling washes over me, that must be them. "Come in" I say happy. The door opens and I see my mom. "Oh hey mom" I say a bit disappointed. "Are you okay? You're not happy I'm here?" She asks worried. "No no no It's not that, it's just I kinda hoped you were someone else" I say a bit akward. My mom starts smirking a bit. "Who did you hope I was?" "I- uuh- Enid and Yoko" I say, I can't tell her who I really hoped.

"Oooh, sounds like someone's in love~~" Gale appears behind my mom. "Wai- What? No I'm not." I say "Hmm, suree" My mom says "Anyway, Weems just called. Her, Frump, Enid and Yoko are on their way here." "Okay thank you mom" I say and she smiles. "You might want to hide that blush" she winks and walks away. I start to blush, but than I realize she is leaving me. "Wait!! Where are you going?" I ask. "Don't worry honey, I'll just get you some breakfast, I'll be right back" She says. I nod and she leaves with Gale following.

A few minutes later there's a knock on my door again. "Come in mom" I say. The door opens "uuuh- I'm not your mom love" I hear someone chuckle and I see her enter the room. I feel myself getting red "Oh sorry La- principal Weems" I say and get even more red. I see Yoko behind my principal, smirking. "Hey Yoko" I say "Hey Tate" She says and comes to hug me. "Now let's be honest, is she you crush?" She whispers in my ear. "like 50% of my crush" I whisper. She let's go of the hug and looks at me confused.

 Larissa can't see her because she is facing Yoko's back. But Larissa can see the blush on my cheeks and seeing it get more when she winks at me. I quickly look away, I don't want her to see me blush. Though the smirk on her face tells me that she already saw. I hear Yoko giggle and she gives me a look that says it all: 'tell me everything later' I nod. 

"Hey Tate, how are you?" Enid walks in with red eyes, she looks like she's been crying. "I'm great Enid, it's just a scratch." I wink at her. "But enough about me, are you okay?? Have you been crying?" I ask her worried. "I'll be fine. I felt a bit bad, but miss Frump helped me and told me you'd be okay" Enid smiles and I see her holding Morticia's hand. "That's uhm- That's great Enid!" I say. I know I sound sad when I see everyone in the room looking worried. I don't even know why I'm suddenly feeling sad, just seeing Morticia holding Enid's hand makes me feel... Jealous. I don't know why, I know we're having this bet. But to them it's just a bet and to me? I don't know, I think I'm falling for them.. But even if I win this bet I still wouldn't win them.. I mean look at them, they're so happy together. They are soulmates, and I am just a bet..

I feel tears rolling down my cheeks and it's getting harder to breath. "Hey tate? Tate?" I hear someone say my name. I look better and I see Yoko. I wipe my tears away and smile a bit. "Yea, I'm sorry. I'm fine" I calm myself. I wipe my tears away and smile at them. They all look really worried. "Tate, are you okay?" Larissa asks "Yea, why wouldn't I be?" I ask "You just had a panic attack" Weems says "And a second later you are smiling again. That's not normal" Yoko says. "I'm fine. Just hungry" I say. "O-okay, I'll look for some food" Enid says "No don't worry about that. My mom will be here in a minute" I smile.

Larissa looks really worried at me. "Come girls, we'll let Tate rest for a few minutes" Morticia says to Yoko and Enid. The three of them walk outside leaving me with Larissa. Larissa sits on the chair next to my bed. "Darling.. Are you sure you're okay? I'm really worried" She says. "Y-yes I'm fine. Like I said, just hungry" I smile at her fighting my tears. "Rissa.. Yoko and Enid want to go back. Enid isn't feeling well" Morticia says. "Can I talk to her and Yoko?" I ask them. "Alone" They look at eachother and than Larissa nods. "Yea, that's okay" She says and walks outside with Morticia. Not a minute later Yoko and Enid walk inside. "Hey" I say. "Hey Tate, I'm sorry if I made you feel bad" Enid says and looks down. "No Enid, please don't think that! I just had something on my mind and it made me feel bad. But it has nothing to do with you. I wanted to say sorry that you had to see me like that. I'm really okay, but my mind is playing tricks with me and it makes me panic." I smile slightly.

Enid starts crying and hugs me. "Tate, you know we're always here for you. You can tell us everything, alway and we will help you get through it!" Yoko says and Enid nods agreeing with the vampire. "Thank you both so much!" I say and hug them. "Soooo~~ When are you gonna tell us about you crushhh?" Yoko asks. I start blushing, at that moment my mom walks inside. Of course... She sees me blush when Yoko and Enid are here. I see her smirk "Hey mom" I say "Hey sweetie" She says. "Hey Tate, we'll go now. Tell us tomorrow" Yoko says and winks. I hug Yoko and Enid than they leave. 

"So it's Yoko?" My mom smirks. "No not really.." I say. "Sweetie are you okay? You look a bit sad" She says. "I-I can't tell you.." I say. "Darling you can tell me anything" She says. "Mom it's really weird. I can't tell you" I say. "Please darling, you look sad and I just want to help you." "Thank you mom, I'll tell you. So me and my crush ha-" "Hey, I was wondering.." Larissa walks inside. "..Oh sorry, I didn't know I was interupting" She says and turns around. "No it's okay, we were just talking about you" I say hoping my mom would get the hint. I knew I had to tell her one way or another. "Only, good things I hope" Weems says and smiles. "Yes of course Weems" I say. I look at my mom and see her smile a bit. "What did you want to ask?" My mom asks Larissa. "Well, I was wondering if Tate wanted anything from her dorm. I'll just get it for you and be right back here" She says. "I think I have everything here, but I would like a few clean clothes. Can you ask Yoko to get them from my closet?" I ask Larissa. She nods "Yea, I'll do that. I'll be back in an hour or so." She smiles and leaves. 

When we know she can't hear us anymore, my mom starts talking again. "Okay what? How did that happen??" She asks, but she's smiling so I know she isn't angry. I tell her about the bet, but make it a bit less... sexual. I told her that the bet was about who would fall in love the first. Instead of the real bet, who would beg the others to fuck them. "So you have a crush on two of your teachers? and you're losing the bet??" She asks me. "I- If you put it that way.. Than yes I think so.." I say making her laugh. "I don't care who you love baby. As long as you're happy." She says. "Thank you mom" I say and hug her. "But there's something else.." I say. I have to tell her.. "It's about Billy Loomis"
