Y/NS POV
so we're home with the kids now and things are going great i had taken the dogs for a walk just to get out for a bit and have some alone time

RHEAS POV
i'm sitting on the couch when caity walks in "hey rhea" "hey kid" she sighs and sits next to me "you ok?" "ya just thinking" "about what" "just things" i nod "i do that a lot" she nods "rhea" "hmm" "can you make dinner tonight i love your food" "i was already planning on it cus as long as i'm here your mom can do whatever she want without worrying about anything else" "you really love my mom don't you" "i'd die for her if it meant she got to live in happiness" she nods "ok so here what i wa thinking about" "oh boy" "so you know how mom spending lots of money on the twins since they're only 4 for christmas" "ya?" "i was thinking that i want a ps5 or xbox like the new one" "oh" "ya but i told mom and she said it's too expensive" "i mean it is pricey" "but i really want it" "i'll talk to her" she smiles and runs off and i start dinner when y/n walks in "hey" "hey baby" she hugs me "smells good" "thanks" "you didn't have to you know" "i wanted to and caity requested it" she nods "speaking of you lovely daughter we should talk about christmas" she sighs "i know what she wants dems and i truly can not afford it right now" i nod "so i'll buy them and say they are from you" "no" "why not?" "because i already got her a present i think she'll love and that's why i can't afford it" i wrap my arms around her waist "whatd you get her?" "mm you'll see" i nod "so dems why don't you get her one of them from yourself?" "maybe" she chuckles and goes upstairs to change and i sit there thinking

Y/NS POV
"hey mom" "ya caity?" "i was thinking" "oh god" she pouts "anyway i was thinking about a present to get rhea for Christmas" "oh i already have her present planned" "mom ew" i giggle "i was talking about from me" "oh do tell is it a prank" "no actually it quite personal" "oh" "i didn't even do this for dad but i have a really good connection with rhea and i can see she truly loves you" "caity what are you saying" "i want to get adoption papers for her to make her my official second mom" i smile some tears in my eyes "we can go down there tomorrow if you'd like" "yes but like i want it to be a suprise for christmas for her" i nod and hug her "alright go on let me change and i'll be down to eat in a second ok?" she nods and runs off and i smile change and go downstairs and eat and of course the twins are giving the dogs an all you can eat buffet but once we're done eating rhea helps me clean up the twins and set them in bed and then clean up the kitchen but what we walk down its already clean "caity" "hmm" "you didn't have too" oh well what's done is done" we smile as she runs upstairs and i take demi upstairs "baby" "hmm" "i love you" "i love you to dems" she smiles and cuddles me both of us falling asleep

A/N:yall rhea finally won caitys trust and caity wants to take a big step what do you think? is it too soon for her to trust rhea? is it to soon to take that big step? will caity regret it or will she be happy?
