Deathwatch (OCs x RWBY) [Hiatus until further notice]

Chapter 9

[Beacon Academy / Night time / Dance]

Everyone was waltzing and talking around during the dance, well, mostly everyone. Jaune and Ruby were near the punch bowl, Goodwitch and Ironwood were dancing together, and two of the four main protagonists were sharing a flask.

Velimir: I'm too old for this.

He said while fumbling with a tie, Velimir decided to go for this dance and came as a dapper. Even having his glass eye on, and his beard neatly taken care of.

Vlad: Oh poor you, I had to go through the same experience as this at least four times while I was in Atlas. *sip*

Velimir: Yeah, yeah now hand me the flask.

He grabbed the flask and took a great swig of it as well.

Milos(Through comms): Don't get too drunk big guy. We still need you.

Velimir(R): Don't worry, I know when to stop.

Vlad: Don't be so casual about this Veli.

Velimir: I'll try.

He lied. While they were talking about the deep talk they were interrupted by Oz.

Vlad: What was going through the mind of the man who discovered milk?

Velimir: Christ... *pinching the bridge of his nose*

Ozpin: I see you two are having fun.

Velimir: Yes sir. You do know Vlad, right?

Ozpin: Apart from his name and the reason why he is here, no. Mind if you introduce him?

Velimir: Right. This- *pats Vlad's shoulder* -is Vladimir Razin. We are both ex-military, and we both got to know each other from there. Say hi Vlad.

Vlad: *Starring into Ozpin's soul*

Velimir: He do be like that sometimes. Now, as I was-

Before he could finish his sentence the crowd erupted into laughter, the trio went to check what was happening, only to find out Jaune was wearing a dress while talking to Pyrrha. The duo went to the middle of the room and started to dance, the other half of their team joined in.

Vlad: ...

Velimir: They got the moves. *sip*

Vlad: Wanna show these kids how real men dance?

Velimir: You know the answer to that.

Vlad: HELL YEAH!

Velimir: Let them finish their little dance first.

The two were quietly watching the students dance when Milos started to talk through the comms equipment.

Milos(R): We got company. A woman, with black clothing and hair, walking on rooftops.

Velimir(R): Tail her, stay out of sight, and engage only when necessary.

Milos(R): Roger.

[With Milos]

Milos: Time to spring into action...

He said to himself while descending from the cafeteria to the ground, using the bushes, shrubs, and walls as concealment while following the woman. There was a moment when she came down to knock out the guard guarding the CCTS tower. Milos was unto something, realizing that she either wanted to go to the terminal room or Ozpin's office, he started to climb up the tower, using its cracks as leverage, not knowing that there was a ruckus going on down on ground level.

When he finally arrived at the terminal room(through the window) he saw the woman on the computer doing something, Milos knew those were ill intentions so he tried to sneak up behind her. He did not make it far, and due to a sudden sound of the elevator, he swiftly went for concealment. Peeking behind his cover he saw a familiar girl.

Ruby: Hello?

Ruby was also unto her, it didn't make his job any easier. She was walking slowly with her Crescent Rose, stumbling around in her heels. 

Ruby: Is anyone there? Hello?

So instead of being a sane person, the lady in black decided to stand up and show herself to Ruby. 

Ruby: Excuse me! It's not a masquerade party, so why don't you take off that-

Before she could continue any longer, the masked woman pulled out a dust carrier(idk what's it called) and aimed directly at Ruby.

Milos: Perfect...

They started to fight, and Milos tried to shoot at her, but only when he finally got a good shot, did the elevator door open revealing Ironwood. He quickly ducked for cover and hoped for the best. And that girl simply disappeared in front of them. And when the general and Ruby left, Milos stuck around and left a little surprise for Salem's henchmen. He quickly left after that.

[Back at the dance]

While everyone was dancing waltz with their partners, along with the woman from before, they soon cleared the grounds for two drunkards. The two and only Vladimir and Velimir doing another antic that may cost someone their life.

When the duo finished their little dance they went outside to get some air, Milos informed them about his cabals. 

Milos(R): I need you to be on the lookout for someone.

Velimir(R): Who is it?

Milos(R): A girl, with long black hair covering her left eye, amber eyes, slim. She may be at the dance right now.

Velimir(R): We'll see what we can do.
