The next day went much better for both Amanda and Constanze. Amanda kept a close eye on her friend, making sure she was alright throughout the day. Constanze was on time to class, and taking notes almost just as she had before. Amanda smiled gratefully that Constanze was feeling better. Jasminka noticed too, the sharp recovery in a way. While Constanze wasn't at her best, she was doing far greater than before. Jasminka nudged Amanda, which got a quick head turn in response. Her head tilted as she spoke, keeping quiet in the class with a minor whisper. "Constanze seems to be doing better, did you find out what was wrong?" She asked with some hope, and a lot of excitement, putting her hands together. Amanda thought, before shaking her head, starting to get a little defensive. Jasminka couldn't really tell why, but she just went with it considering Amanda's personality. "I talked to her last night, that's all!" Amanda barked out, yet at a mid tone as to not interrupt class. Jasminka nodded, before going back to her note taking. Amanda hunched up her shoulders in an annoyed manner and scrunched her nose, crossing her arms. Jasminka pretended not to notice, and Constanze herself didn't notice at all. Amanda's eyes lightly looked over at Constanze as she wrote, seeing she was getting stuck and such at certain parts, before continuing. Still seeming to have the issue of lack of sleep. Amanda groaned internally, before picking up a pencil, which surprised Jasminka, as she began to write in her notebook. Amanda looked at the board, trying her best to take notes in as neat of handwriting as she could. It wasn't fast, but she was gathering everything. Jasminka's head tilted with some suspicion, usually Amanda didn't care about taking classes seriously.
Later that day Jasminka saw Sucy, walking over to start a chat with her, she gave a friendly wave. Sucy liked Jasminka, both were calm and rather quiet, but at the same time both loved cooking. Well, if you could call what Sucy did cooking. Sucy spoke up first, "Hey, what's up Jasmine?" It seemed to be a new nickname for Jasminka from some of the kids she was close with, easier to pronounce and remember. Jasminka got a peachy smile in response. "Oh not much." She began to relay her day as they began to walk through the hall, before getting to the class she had before meeting up with Sucy. She mentioned how Amanda was taking notes, and how she seemed all cranky, crankier than normal at least. Sucy responded with no more than a devilish grin. "Something is fishy, you know she doesn't like to take school seriously." Jasminka nodded, pondering a bit more now that Sucy even noted that. Seeing it wasn't just herself that felt that way, or saw it that way. Sucy thought a little more, less deviously and more seriously. She wouldn't think so blissless with Jasminka. "Maybe she just found something in the class that interested her." Jasminka shook her head, "It's the same stuff as last week, we have a test coming up soon. I doubt she would just now decide to take notes about it unless it takes her that long to get interested in it." Sucy nodded, before shrugging. The two began to talk about less important manners, discussing classes and their different culinary arts and projects. Jasminka couldn't keep the thought out of the back of her mind as to why Amanda would be suddenly studying. She thought about asking her, but would wait to see if it was more of a bluff or not.
At lunch, the three were sitting at their table as usual. Constanze was eating as she would, seeming to be eating a little faster than normal, but to most it wouldn't be noticeable. She would still be a bit hungry after having such an irregular eating pattern over a while, Jasminka patted her on the shoulder to try to tell her to slow down. She responded with a small nod, as Amanda walked over with a plate of sliced potatoes. When she sat down, she mouthed something, but no sound came out. Jasminka smiled knowingly and said a pleasantly happy hello. Amanda looked at Jasminka and smiled, responding with a nod and an audible hello of her own. She looked to Constanze, who sat across from her. "Are you feeling better Cons?" Constanze looked up and took a moment before nodding with a small smile. She continued to eat, leaving Amanda with a relieved sigh, slinking back into her chair. She thought to herself in that instance. "I wonder if we can all sleep soundly tonight then." She didn't much enjoy having Constanze in her bed with her, since she preferred to lay a bit sprawled out whenever she eventually got to sleep, and she couldn't really do that when someone else was with her. Especially with how thin the beds at the school were. However, she was optimistic that Constanze would be able to manage herself tonight. She leaned forward and began to eat her potatoes, before looking to Jasminka, who seemed to have an eye on the books in her satchel. "What's wrong?" Amanda asked with a full mouth. Jasminka gasped a bit, she didn't really want to seem like she was staring. "Oh, nothing Amanda, don't worry. It's just, I have never seen you so invested in the class work before. Did something catch your interest?" Amanda thought a bit as to what Jasminka was talking about, only when she swallowed the food in her mouth did she realize. "Oh that? The note taking? Bah, it's just to look like I am doing something productive. I don't really care about what they're teaching us. Not like I will use it anyway." Jasminka seemed a little confused, but she went back to eating her lunch regardless.
