"Why are you even here? I get we're like distant cousins and all but we don't normally interact with each other." Graydon asks as we walk into the royal palace of Tir Asleen."We'll for one i've never been to Tir Asleen, and two my cousin is getting married!" Baela exclaimed in a cherry voice.
"Yeah to a woman i don't know. This marriage is strictly political." Graydon exclaims, obviously frustrated. After he killed his brother (accidentally) he was told he had to marry the princess of Tir Asleen, who he never met and never wanted to marry.
"That is why i am here Graydon. you need support." baela takes a breath before continuing. "On the day of my wedding all I heard was 'congratulations' but what I really wanted to hear was 'I'm sorry'."
Graydon averted his eyes, he almost forgot how his cousin had went through the same thing—forced into a political marriage— and regrets being rude to her.
"You're right i'm sorry." He apologized
"No I'm sorry. I'm sure the princess is a nice girl, but I'm sorry you have to marry someone you don't know and don't love. You are one of the most loving people i know Graydon Hastur, and i apologize you haven't found someone to give it to."

Baela Baratheon had no intention on going to Tir Asleen, but when she heard about Graydon Hastur marrying Kit Tanthalos she practically dragged her family on dragon-back to get there.
When the family arrived there was a crowd of spectators awaiting them (the dragons do give new people quite the shock). Their dragons were left to roam free near the edge of the vale while they rode into the city with the Hastur's. The Baratheon family truly hoped their presence was not a nuisance seeing as though the Tanthalos family had no clue of their arrival.
When approaching the castle gates, Queen Sorsia was standing there waiting for the family of dragon lords with a particularly nervous look on her face.
While the nickname 'The belittler' did not spark fear in the hearts of people, the person behind the name did. A young girl riding the largest dragon in the world, who conquered the largest Kingdom in the world before her seventeenth birthday, unsurprisingly struck fear in the hearts of men. From the tales of those who battled against her army and lived to tell the tales of their endeavors, the girl was bloodthirsty and ruthless.
Sorsia wondered how the young woman's temper was —knowing how agitating her children could be— she wouldn't want to offend her and sentence her kingdom to war (though she did hope a queen had better control of her emotions than that).
"Queen Baela" Sorsia greeted slightly bowing her head, while the rest of her household went into a full kneel.
"The customs must be different on this side of the world" Aenys muttered to his sister as he watched the queens display of 'respect'.
Baela tried not to crack a smile while their mother, Laena, gave her children a scolding look. "She too is a queen. She does not have to kneel for your sister." The woman explained.
"Rise." The conquerer commanded. The people of Tir Asleen and her own riding party stood at her demand while Sorsia walked closer to the Valaryian family.
"Thank you so much for coming." The queen smiled.
The family looked at one another slightly confused before Baela took the liberty of speaking. "You are ever so courteous queen Sorsia, and my family and i apologize for not alerting you of our presence. When we got news of our dear cousin marrying i fear nothing could have kept me in Westeros." The teen girl explained.
The older queen smiled at the young girls enthusiasm and gestured for her family to enter the castle. While the dragon-lords were being showed to their rooms, they got heavy stares from the staff of the castle. The pure white Valaryian locks always got attention, it was the best way to identify a dragon-lord.
As each family member was showed to their temporary quarters, Baela was heavily disappointed when she was obligated to share a room with her husband.

The bedroom door closed and a silence followed after the husband and wife. After a beat of silence and the two were sure no one was listening at the door, they both signed in both relief and annoyance.
"God they're evil for putting us in the same room." Gregor moaned in disdain while his wife rolled her eyes at his remark.
"we're married, it's only natural we're roomed together." Baela responded. 'not that i'm particularly happy about it either.'
Baela and Gregor's marriage is purely political, Gregor is the son of a powerful lord and one of her most suitable suitors and also one of the most renowned whores in Westeros. And while Gregor was not perfect, neither was Baela. The young queen had her fair shares of sexual escapades (mostly with women) her husband was just one of the many men she wasn't attracted to.
"I don't know why i had to come. i would have been fine alone in the keep." Gregor groaned annoyingly. The man truly got on Rhaena's nerves always whining and moaning about how hard his life is. Baela would never leave the man in her home by hisself, he can't be trusted.
"Why so you can bring the entire street of silk to entertain you in your bedchambers?" she remarked sarcastically.
Her husband rolled his eyes with a ghost of a smirk, annoyed by her accusation but amused by how well she knew him. The action made Baela roll her eyes.
"i need a bath. i smell like dragon and Graydon's wedding dinner will start soon." Baela whined.
Dispite her tough exterior, Baela was just a child at heart. A bloodthirsty, war experienced, dragon riding child.
