Chapter 6: Departures and Unwelcome Reunions

After a restless night plagued by haunting nightmares and unwelcomed guests, Fey finally decided to take off her mask, allowing herself to breathe freely. She surrendered to the gentle embrace of sleep, seeking comfort and relief from the burdens that weighed upon her. As the rays of the afternoon sun kissed her cheeks, Fey stirred from her slumber, feeling remarkably rejuvenated. Fey wanted to spend alone time to gather her thoughts. She settled to leave her room and venture into the vibrant streets of Liyue Harbor. However, her plans were interrupted when she encountered Dr Baizu, who insisted she should rest and heal. Fey tried to persuade Dr Baizu otherwise, but her pleas fell on deaf ears. Faced with no other choice, she reluctantly returned to her room, feeling the restlessness building within her. With a heart set on escaping, Fey yearned for a moment of peace amidst the chaos. Sneaking out through the window, she made her way through the bustling streets until she spotted the familiar figure of Teucer. Drawing close, she decided to take off her mask and reveal her face. Teucer couldn't help but worry about Fey's injury as she approached him, but she assured him that she would be all right. Curious about his departure time, she discovered it was scheduled for sunset. Realising the limited time, they had together, Fey made a spontaneous decision to take Teucer to Wangshu Inn using a teleporter. As they stand before the shimmering teleporter, Fey's vision brims with determination and the prowess of a seasoned adventurer. Her Hydro Vision radiates a soft azure glow, resonating with the elemental energy of the teleportation magic. Beside her, Teucer's eyes sparkle with curiosity and joy, an innocent beacon of light in the world's shadows. His tiny hand clutches Fey's clothes, a symbol of trust. With a burst of resonating Hydro energy, Fey activates the teleporter, and the surroundings transform into a mesmerizing spectacle of cascading water and ethereal mist. They traverse the mysterious teleportation pathway; they feel the gentle embrace of the elements surrounding them. In a whirl of celestial hues, they arrive at Wangshu Inn, their destination revealed like a secret treasure amid the Liyue landscape. The enchanting view before them stirs their hearts, as the warm golden hues of the sunset embrace the inn, transforming it into an otherworldly sanctuary. Arriving at their destination, Teucer's eyes lit up as he spotted a black and white dog, his excitement evident. Fey cherished the moment, allowing him to enjoy the delightful encounter before redirecting his attention to the breathtaking horizon. In the serene ambience of the inn, they shared a peaceful and heartwarming moment. Fey decided to order a variety of delicious dishes to savour together, including Almond Tofu, Noodles with Mountain Delicacies, and Chicken-Mushroom Skewers. As they indulged in their feast, they basked in the beauty of the setting sun, the sky painted with hues of gold and crimson. The sun slowly dipped below the horizon, casting a mesmerizing canvas of warm hues across the Liyue landscape, Fey and Teucer found themselves within the enchanting confines of Wangshu Inn. The inn's balcony offered an unobstructed view of the breathtaking scenery that stretched before them, inviting them to immerse themselves in the wonders of Teyvat. Below, the serene waters sparkled like a thousand jewels, reflecting the amber glow of the setting sun. Rolling hills and terraced fields embraced the landscape, adorned with vibrant flowers and swaying grass, creating a living canvas that breathed with life. Shrouded in a mystical haze, the distant mountains stood as ancient sentinels, guardians of the realm's secrets and wonders. Amidst this breathtaking view, a gentle breeze carried the scent of blooming flowers and the distant sea, caressing their cheeks like a tender embrace from the elements themselves. The soft rustling of leaves and the distant call of birds harmonized with the soothing melody of a guqin, creating an enchanting symphony that filled the air with otherworldly grace. In this ethereal moment, Fey's Hydro Vision shimmered with a faint luminescence, mirroring the tranquil waters of the waters below. Teucer's eyes sparkled like stars, his joyous laughter harmonizing with the peaceful serenade of the evening. As they ate on the balcony of Wangshu Inn, they felt a profound connection to the world of Teyvat, where the elements intertwined with every heartbeat, and the beauty of nature was a divine symphony. The memory of this awe-inspiring scene would forever be etched in their souls. As the sun bid farewell to the day, they cherished every second, knowing that their time together was fleeting.

Fey and Teucer went back to Liyue Harbour byteleporter. Fey guides Teucer to the boats where he would depart for Snezhnaya.On the way there, they ran into childe. He was surprised to see Fey despitebeing heavily injured. Teucer went on to the boat to depart and shouted "SisFey, I wanna be cool like you!" as the boat was leaving for Snezhnaya. Whichwarmed Fey's heart for a moment. That moment was interrupted by Childe. Wherehe says "Now that Teucer is gone, remuneration for your services. Allow me to formallyexpress my sincerest gratitude for taking care of my darling brother. Hissafety matters very much to me." to which Fey replies "No need, I don't acceptsomething from a Fatui, who knows where it could've been" showing slightaggression. "Come on Sis Fey, we are great friends," Childe spoke in a jokingmanner. "Since Teucer is gone, don't think I'll keep playing this silly façadewith a fatui." She harshly commented as she leaves. Standing there was anintrigued Fatui as Fey left for her lodge. It's been weeks since the last timeFey saw the Fatui as she parted ways with Teucer. Her injuries were healed, andFey was off to her next adventure.
