Author~chan: After our sad parting with Teucer and you know who ;), I wonder what's in store for our next adventure in the city of song :3
Fey teleported to the Stone gate teleporter near Wuwang Hill. With Liyue Harbor's memory still vivid in her mind, Fey knew it was time to embark on a new adventure. Her next destination was Mondstadt, the city of wind and song, where new challenges awaited her. As the memories of her time in Liyue blended with the anticipation of what lay ahead, she couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and curiosity. The journey to Mondstadt was an opportunity for Fey to discover the beauty of a new land and its unique culture. As Fey made her way to Mondstadt, she encountered the Windwail Highland Anemo teleporter. As she journeys further into Monstadt, Fey would activate Anemo teleporters scattered across the land. Each teleporter held a Anemo elemental resonance, attuned to the region's natural energies. With her Hydro Vision as a guide, Fey activated these teleporters for easy access across the region. Drawing upon her connection with the elements, Fey channelled her Hydro powers to resonate with the teleporters' elemental frequencies. With a burst of resonating Hydro energy, the teleporters responded, enveloping her in a mesmerizing display of elemental magic.
As Fey continued her journey along the path that led to Mondstadt, she couldn't help but admire at the breathtaking landscapes of Teyvat. Her steps were guided by the whispering winds, and she felt a mysterious connection to the world around her. Each turn and bend in the path revealed new wonders, from the towering cliffs to the verdant meadows that stretched before her. The gentle caress of the wind was a constant companion, carrying with it the sweet scent of blooming flowers and the distant melody of birdsong. It was as if Mondstadt itself was signalling her, and Fey followed the call of the wind, drawn deeper into the heart of this enchanting land. However, Fey was stopped by a camp of hilicurls.
Fey's footsteps were barely a whisper against the rugged terrain as she approached the hilicurl camp. Her Hydro Vision shimmered with an azure glow, resonating with the powers of water that she commanded. The hilicurls, unaware of the impending storm, went about their activities, screeching and bickering behind their makeshift fence. With a swift and precise movement, Fey drew her rapier, the blade glinting in the soft light of Teyvat's sun. She focused her hydro energy, ready to unleash a torrential onslaught upon the unsuspecting hilicurls. The silence was shattered as she executed her Elemental Skill, Aqua Thrust Blade. She lunged forward, combining her Aqua Thrust and Aqua Blade techniques into a single, lethal strike. The hilicurls turned in surprise, but it was too late. The blade of water-infused energy slashed through the first hilicurl, cutting it down with a burst of hydro damage. The "Drenched" status left by the attack increased the damage taken from Fey's subsequent moves. She pressed forward, her rapier slicing through the air with uncanny speed. The hilicurls tried to fight back, but they were outmatched. Fey's agility and precision were unmatched. She danced among them, delivering precise thrusts and slashes that left no room for counterattacks. The lingering hydro energy from her attacks damaged those unfortunate enough to be caught in its path. Hilicurls were mere playthings in her hands. One by one, they fell before her, defeated and powerless against the overwhelming hydro onslaught. Her passive talent, Fluid Mastery, allowed her to regain energy with each enemy she dispatched, ensuring that her burst was ready to be unleashed again and again. By the time the last hilicurl lay defeated, Fey sheathed her rapier and turned to leave.
As the sun began its descent towards the horizon, Fey found herself on a hill overlooking a vast expanse of vineyards. The sight was nothing short of breathtaking, with rows upon rows of grapevines, their leaves rustling in the evening breeze. The vineyards seemed to stretch on endlessly, as proof of the dedication and craftsmanship of the winemakers. In the distance, she spotted the graceful silhouette of Dawn Winery, nestled amidst the vineyards. The soft light of the setting sunbathed the winery in a warm, golden glow, turning it into a picturesque scene straight out of a painting. It was a moment of serenity and beauty that Fey couldn't help but savour. As Fey made her way down the hill towards the vineyards, the world around her seemed to transform. The air was filled with the sweet fragrance of blooming flowers, and the vibrant green of the grapevines extended as far as the eye could see. She couldn't help but be captivated by the breathtaking beauty of the vineyards. The grapevines stood in perfectly straight rows, their leaves rustling gently in the breeze. Sunlight filtered through the canopy of leaves, casting dappled patterns on the ground. It was as though nature itself had carefully arranged every vine with love and care, creating a mesmerizing landscape that stretched to the horizon. Fey's fingers lightly brushed against the leaves as she walked, and she marvelled at the delicate, heart-shaped grape leaves. The vines were heavy with clusters of grapes, their deep purple hues promising the promise of a bountiful harvest. The path through the vineyards led her closer to the entrance of Dawn Winery, and the view became even more enchanting. The winery itself was a sight to behold, with its elegant architecture and warm, welcoming ambiance. The golden light of the setting sunbathed the winery in a radiant glow, making it a beacon of hospitality during nature's splendour. As Fey approached the entrance, she couldn't help but feel a sense of serenity and wonder. The vineyards and the winery were proof of the harmony between man and nature, and she knew that she had stumbled upon a place of rare beauty and peacefulness. With a contented smile, she stepped through the entrance, eager to explore the treasures that Dawn Winery had to offer.
As Fey entered the grand entrance of Dawn Winery, she couldn't help but be awestruck by the elegance and charm of the place. The winery's architecture was an indication to the fine craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail. Polished oak beams supported the structure, and the warm, golden light from wrought iron lanterns bathed the interiors in a welcoming glow. She followed a corridor that led her deeper into the winery, her footsteps muffled by the lush, burgundy carpet that lined the floor. The corridor opened into a spacious hall, revealing a breathtaking view of the vineyards through arched windows. It was a moment of pure serenity. However, the tranquillity was soon disrupted by the voices of two individuals engaged in a heated argument. Fey approached a doorway and peered into the room beyond, her curiosity piqued. Inside, she saw a man with fiery crimson hair and an elderly man, both engaged in a tense exchange. He is a tall and well-built man with a commanding presence. His most notable feature is his fiery red hair, which falls in sleek, well-kept strands around his face. His hair's vibrant colour contrasts sharply with his crimson eyes, giving him an intense and enigmatic look. The gaze of those eyes is piercing, often carrying a sense of determination and intensity. His facial features are sharp and chiselled, accentuating his air of authority. His complexion is fair, which adds to his overall aristocratic look. He is wearing refined, tailored attire that includes well-fitted jacket and trousers, all designed with an eye for detail and quality. He carries himself with an air of confidence and elegance.
Fey watched the exchange for a moment, feeling like an intruder in this private moment. She didn't recognize the individuals involved, and her presence went unnoticed during their argument. But then, the man turned to leave the room and noticed her standing there. Their eyes met, and Fey couldn't help but feel the intensity of his gaze. The man's crimson eyes held a depth of emotion, and for a moment, time seemed to stand still. She didn't know who he was, but there was something enigmatic about him. Breaking the silence, the man spoke, his tone surprisingly warm given the argument that had just transpired. "Greetings, fox-masked traveller. I don't believe we've met before. I am Diluc Ragnvindr, owner of Dawn Winery. How may I assist you?"
Fey, still somewhat taken aback by the unexpected encounter, replied with a polite nod. "I'm Fey, a traveller from Liyue. I was drawn here by the beauty of your winery and the vineyards."
Diluc's expression softened, and he offered a faint smile. "It's a pleasure to have you here, Fey. The vineyards do have a way of captivating the heart. If you have any questions or would like to sample our wines, please feel free to ask."
As Fey introduced herself and exchanged pleasantries with Diluc, the elderly man spoke up, revealing his position.
"I'm Elzer, the Executive Chairman of Mondstadt Wine Guild, it is nice to meet you," he said with a hint of exasperation.
"Likewise," Fey returned the greeting.
Fey turned to Diluc as she asks, "Is it possible for me to spend the night here?"
"That would be a pleasure, I will have the head housemaid Adelinde guide you to your lodge," Diluc gestured to Adelinde. Adelinde, the head housemaid of Dawn Winery, possesses a charming and elegant appearance that reflects her role as a caretaker of this prestigious establishment. She has shoulder-length, silky blonde hair that frames her face in soft waves. A set of bangs gracefully falls just above her enchanting green eyes, adding a touch of grace and allure to her overall look. Her hair is often neatly styled, allowing it to fall naturally around her face. As Fey followed Adelinde, the tension in the room began to dissipate. Fey couldn't help but wonder about the argument she had stumbled upon and the intriguing figure of Diluc. Her journey in Mondstadt had only just begun, and she had already encountered a hint of Monstadt mysteries and its enigmatic residents.
Author~chan: DILUC MAKES AN APPEARANCE DUN DUN DUNNNNN!! Now then, how will Fey and Diluc's fate intertwine I wonder :3 STAY TUNED TO THE NEXT CHAPTER! teehee~
